"Why is it so big in here?"
As they walked, Bao Bei looked up at Jihl and asked.
In both hands, he was still tightly holding the cake and cookies he had received earlier.
The cake was starting to get a bit squished.
"Hmm? Because it's the heart of the country, maybe?"
Jihl answered, but Bao Bei didn't know what "the heart" meant in that context. Still, it didn't seem like Jihl wanted to explain further.
So Bao Bei started thinking hard on his own.
He tilted his head from side to side, even scrunching his eyebrows together while trying to figure it out.
He was squeezing the cake too tightly, and it was now half crushed and starting to fall apart—but he was thinking so seriously, he didn't even notice.
"I got it!"
Bao Bei suddenly shouted with a big, happy voice.
"Oh?"
Jihl asked while holding back a laugh, but Bao Bei was too caught up in his own thoughts to notice.
