Bao Bei who is now covered in so much dirt you couldn't tell what color his fur originally was, struggled to stand up.
"It's okay. I can still see Jihl."
Just as he started walking to leave the back alley and go out onto the street, a big shadow fell over him.
"What's this filthy thing?"
It must've been someone who worked at the house.
The man who saw Bao Bei scowled deeply.
"A mud rat? Damn it, these pests again. I hate when things like you show up. We're running a business here. You'll ruin our reputation."
The man kicked Bao Bei hard in the belly.
The tip of his boot sank deep into Bao Bei's stomach.
"Wuff!!"
Bao Bei was easily kicked and sent flying toward the riverside.
"Get lost! Don't ever come back!"
The man kicked again and Bao Bei's body flew through the air.
He landed with a splash straight into the river.
