Chapter 11 - The Desert Sanctuary

"Don't sit up yet." 

The voice was very soft, familiar and very dangerous.

My eyes were opened, and the world was actually turning in my eyes. There was a woven ceiling above me. There was also the smell of herbs around the place.

And there was him that I saw in my dreams, Darius. He knelt down beside the bed I was lying on, his cloth rolled, eyes were very calm and still. His hands were held together

"You are already safe now, drink this, it will stop the shaking." He said, gently lifting the bowl toward my lips.

I did not move, I just looked at him.

"You found me," he said, my voice was cracked and dry.

"I was never searching."

I pushed myself up with my trembling arms, Pain filled through my body, but I forced myself upright anyway. I hated lying down while he sat up and I hated the unevenness with the imbalance.

"Where am I?" I rasped.

"My camp desert's edge far from Blackthorn."

"How far?"

"Far enough that Caelum can not even track you where you are."
