Chapter 95 - Chapter 95: The New President of Flash Animation

At the entrance of Flash Animation Studios, Su Yu and Yukinoshita Yukino stepped out of the car.

They immediately noticed another familiar vehicle—it was Yukinoshita Haruno's.

It seemed she had arrived ahead of them.

Su Yu recalled their previous conversation and quickly understood her purpose here. She was likely selecting a new manager for the studio.

And if his guess was correct…

With that thought, Su Yu and Yukinoshita Yukino took the elevator to the third studio.

Upon seeing Su Yu, many employees greeted him respectfully. Some of the bolder young women eagerly inquired about the setting of Yuuzai, hoping to visit the location.

Su Yu could only respond that it was a place from his imagination, likely only existing in the world of anime.

As soon as Yukinoshita Yukino arrived, she immediately switched into work mode.

Miyazumi Shi pointed toward the office, indicating that Tamura Nanako was inside.

Understanding the cue, Su Yu walked in.

The moment he entered, he saw Tamura Nanako seated on the sofa.

"Su Yu-sensei, these are all the letters you've received. Would you like me to open them for you?" Tamura Nanako stood up and asked.

"No need. I'd prefer to take them home and go through them slowly." As Su Yu spoke, he pulled out his manuscript from his commuting bag.

Tamura Nanako took the manuscript and immediately began reviewing it. Checking manuscripts was part of an editor's job.

After reading through it, she smiled brightly.

"Su Yu-sensei, your manga quality has far surpassed that of ordinary mangaka. Perhaps before long, you'll be holding a signing event for the tankoubon."

"A signing event?" Su Yu glanced at her.

"I've already discussed the tankoubon with the publisher. As long as the series performs well, there's a chance for a volume release. Given your quality and success, it'll happen soon. If there's any news, I'll inform you immediately." As she spoke, she carefully observed Su Yu's expression.

"Oh. Let me know when it happens."

His tone remained calm, showing no particular excitement.

Tamura Nanako felt a little disappointed.

Still, it wasn't a big deal. To maintain such composure despite this level of success…

Su Yu-sensei is so cool!

Handsome, talented, leagues above other mangaka, and indifferent toward her advances—he was exactly her ideal type of boyfriend!

"If there's nothing else, you can go." Su Yu spoke.

"Su Yu-sensei, may I treat you to a cup of coffee? I'd love to discuss the future plot of Yuuzai with you." Tamura Nanako fixed her gaze on him.

"You're looking forward to my story?" Su Yu asked.

"Of course! I've been eagerly awaiting the next chapter."

"If that's the case, why would you want to discuss future developments with me? As the first reader of upcoming content, wouldn't knowing spoilers ruin your anticipation?" Su Yu pointed out.

"This…" Tamura Nanako realized she had fallen into Su Yu's trap.

Luckily, the sound of the door opening spared her from further embarrassment.

Standing at the entrance was Yukinoshita Haruno, smiling at both of them.

Behind her stood Sata Kana.

Tamura Nanako quickly stood up, bowed, and hurriedly left with the manuscript. She had no interest in facing off against the eldest daughter of the Yukinoshita family.

Haruno briefly glanced at Tamura Nanako before turning her attention to Su Yu.

"From now on, she will be the new president of Flash Animation. Any issues, you can discuss with her."

Sata Kana stepped forward and bowed.

"Su Yu-sama, I look forward to working with you."

"Sata-san, you're the president. I'm just an outsider." Su Yu observed her calmly.

"Su Yu-kun, you're hardly an outsider. You're Yukino's boyfriend, and Flash Animation will eventually be under her control. In the future, you might even be the owner of this studio." Haruno smirked.

Sata Kana was visibly surprised.

"Alright, Sata, you may leave now. Do your job well, ensure that both Yukino and Su Yu-kun are satisfied with your work, and you'll keep your position. If they're displeased… well, I won't be able to help you then." Haruno smiled as she took a seat on the sofa.

"Yes, Yukinoshita-sama." Sata Kana understood the implications and left Miyazumi Shi's office, closing the door behind her.

Su Yu looked at the shut door before turning his gaze to Haruno.

"Do you have some kind of special relationship with that editor?" Haruno scrutinized Su Yu with an amused smile.

"Not at all. In fact, we're not as close as you and I."

"Oh? And what about the girls in this office? One of them seemed quite fond of you." Haruno's smile deepened.

"There are plenty of people who like me." Su Yu didn't answer directly.

"Well then. I checked out your manga. It was pretty good, so I had a professional artist take a look. They gave it a positive review." Haruno observed his reaction carefully.

"While I'd love to call that unnecessary, I know you meant well, so… thanks." Su Yu's expression remained calm as he looked at her.

Haruno chuckled, glanced at the time, and then stood up.

"My schedule is tight. Let's talk again next time. If you ever want to chat, you can come to my bar. I've already informed the staff that you're free to use my private room."

"No thanks. I wouldn't want Yukino to misunderstand."

Su Yu stood up as well.

"I love seeing Yukino get jealous. You don't mind me giving you a little pressure, do you?" Haruno teasingly hooked her arm around his.

"Not at all." Su Yu glanced at her.

"Honest as always, Su Yu-kun. I like that about you."

"I hope I'm the first and last person to hear you say that."

"Are you confessing to me? Because I'll take it seriously."

"Just joking. I thought you'd enjoy it."

"I do enjoy it when you talk like this."

"I'll do my best to keep you entertained so you won't get bored."

As they spoke, they walked out of the office.

The moment they stepped out, Su Yu spotted Yukinoshita Yukino. She had clearly been keeping an eye on the situation.

The instant she saw the two of them so close together, her expression turned ice-cold, and she approached them.

Haruno remained calm, wearing an amused smile as though she were watching a show unfold.

"Let go of him." Yukino's voice was low as she confronted her sister.

"Yukino, you look terrifying when you're jealous. Right, Su Yu-kun?" Haruno let go of his arm and smiled.

"I think she looks cute," Su Yu replied, looking at the younger Yukinoshita.

"Men love to lie. And Su Yu-kun is an expert at it." Haruno's gaze lingered between the two of them before she smirked.

"Yukino, keep a close eye on your boyfriend. I find him quite interesting."

With that cryptic remark, she walked away.
