Once Fugaku had asked if the students were ready, all the team leaders took their times to think. Fugaku continued to explain "The Knight country is one that is known for their incredible powers and the urge to dominate, they've been our enemies for hundreds of years now. Not just that, but it was pretty obvious in the last war that they weren't done with us. That and the fact that our skilled set of young soliders went over to take down the hornets web cult and almost didn't make it out perfectly fine. So, I'm going to ask again. Are they ready? Not just your students, but are other young assassins in the city ready?". All the team leaders kept quiet, they all started to think carefully, Suzuha thought to herself "I usually go to the soliders base to train the young soliders, most of them are C-ranks, so they should be fine. But at the same time, I'm not sure. The Knight kingdom have very deadly soliders on their side, they kill in the most grousome ways imaginable. I can never forget how they killed Kankuro. How his heart fell out of the hole in his chest, as well as the deep cuts he had all over his body before dropping dead.". Reggie thought to himself "Kito, Baroka and Rem are pretty damn strong, but will they survive? Kito depends on smart, skills and strength in battles, so he can hold his own against his enemies. Baroka is incredibly durable, unless you knock him out off rip, he'd be a problem. Rem on the other hand is extremely flexible. She's skillfull and has the power to back herself up pretty well, but can they survive?", Reggie thought to himself deeply and carefully. Ralfold had his arms folded "One of my teammate died when we were still thirteen, his name was Kankuro. He, Suzuha and I were on a war mission against the Knight country. He held his own very well against the drive knights, until he died due to injuries his heart just dropped out of his chest and splattered on the ground before he too fell and died...", Ralfold had a brief thought of his friend who had deep cuts all over his body and died with a smile "Suzuha and I were crushed after seeing him fall to the ground without us being able to do anything at all. I don't want Volt or Regina, my two students who I look at as siblings and give me a good sense of nostalgia, to die like that. So.... are they ready?". Laria thought to herself "Gwen is very skilled when it comes to wielding weapons, and she has incredible stamina and determination to win. Not just that, but she's pretty damn good with just her combat ability. Yuki on the other hand is very much brutal in battle. She doesn't just randomly eat things with her monster mouths, she is calculated. As her monster mouths are making a move, she probably thinking of the worst possible outcome for her, she's a terrifying predator with the mind of a tactician. So should I be concerned that she's gonna be okay in war missions?". She crossed her left leg on her right one "Not just that, but there's also Marallda. Her gravity manipulation ability is very dangerous, and just like Gwen and Yuki, she's very good at combat. The only difference between them is that Yuki depends more on tactics in order to throw her enemies off so that when they get close enough, she can beat them up. Gwen depends more on combat and weapons, but she's very resilient. Marallda is just brutal with her ability, but she's very smart and good at combat. I'm not sure at all, I'm having mixed feelings.". Ranpo on the other hand didn't have much to think of "Are they ready, huh? To be honest, I'm scared for them. But I give them enough training that allows them to depend on whatever skills they have. Not just that, but the training I give them with my golems helps them to be able to learn how to fight against groups and work together. I should be more confident in how they would survive in battle. After all, one of them is a power house of a demon girl, the other boy is a well trained killer who is very sharp and ready to strike. And as for him.... he's pretty damn sharp. He's very matured for his age. And despite how playfull he can be in certain situations, he's pretty unpredictable.". Ranpo took a sigh and explained to Fugaku "Lord Fugaku, I suggest that we answer this question when we are done with this assassination exams. The question you asked is one where we have to think critically, we need time to think first...". He looked at Lord Fugaku with firm eye's "I suggest that we all take our times to think of what our answers would be. Before going into assumptions.", Fugaku took a sigh "Sure, why not. You all have till next week Monday to think of your answers first.". Suddenly, the door opened up, a man with long white hair and short sleeve white jacket showed up "Sorry I'm late.", Fugaku greeted "Lerion boy, it's nice that you are here. How are you?", Lerion of the attack clan(22 years old, Noble Lord. White, Racheal and Lydia's team leader.) "Good afternoon Lord Fugaku, sorry I'm late.". A few moments passed when Lerion walked in, he was standing right infront of Fugaku. Lerion sighed "Hm, I see. So you're asking if White, Racheal and Lydia are ready. Well to be honest, I'm not sure. But with enough training, sure, i think they can survive pretty damn well.". Fugaku took a sigh of relief "Good, I'll send you the fight Lydia, White and Racheal had in their exams.". Lerion replied "No problem. But by the way, have you heard from Ariyo and Dan? Last time I checked, I last saw them when they were on their way to a mission, that was a few days back. Are they back yet?". Fugaku's face of relief slowly turned into a serious one, Reggie on the other hand was a little worried, he balled his fists "Could it be....? No. But still, why do i feel like something's wrong, especially when i think of them.". Laria had a saddened look on her face, she thought to herself "No, it's possible. The mission was supposed to be for two days, and it's been five days since they left for the mission. They haven't contacted us since. It's possible....they might be dead.".
END OF CHAPTER.
