Eleanor's POV
A small, rational voice in the back of my head whispered that I might have gone too far. This was a level of audacity I didn't know i can possess.
Keith's voice, rough and low, cut through my thoughts. "What's wrong? I bet you look like you just won the lottery."
"As if." I shot back, the liquid courage making me reckless. I let my gaze drift down. "I'm just surprised. you're not as...big as i imagined."
I saw his jaw tighten beneath the blindfold, a flicker of wounded pride in the set of his shoulders. A thrill shot through me. I likes it. I wouldn't let him have the upper hand, not even for a second.
"Are you just going to keep staring," he ground out, "Or are you going to get to work?"
