Kayden's POV
I typed the words without thinking, my heart hammering against my ribs. The moment I told her I would love to paint her body, I expected her to recoil, for her to finally see the monster lurking beneath my skin.
I'd just voiced one of my most desperate, raving thoughts aloud. All I wanted was to feel her, to be closer, to touch her skin and inhale her scent until it was the only thing I knew.
But she agreed.
The shock was a lightning strike, followed by a wave of pure, unadulterated gratitude so fierce I nearly dropped to my knees. Thank you, Moon Goddess.
I wanted to type, Are you sure? But I stopped myself. What if she changed her mind? I couldn't risk it. This was a golden opportunity, a miracle I couldn't let slip away.
