" Are you ok?". He asked me for the upteenth time since we stepped out of the infirmary .

I nodded, even though I was unsure I was. I don't know what I was expecting when I asked to see Agatha myself — maybe I was expecting to be sprang up on her bed, her hawk eyes waiting to criticize the next person that walked into the room.

I desperately wanted her to do so but seeing her like that snapped whatever daze I was in and when Alpha Kaelith finally explained her condition to me...it finalized it in my mind.

Agatha was really not going to spring up any moment from now. And she...she never might. I never realized how old she was or how fragile she really looked until I saw her sleeping form on the hospital bed. She looked so peaceful like she did that night but to think that she might—

It hurts more to think of that possibility so I shun it off my head. She is going to wake up and she'll do it very soon.
