As Julian and Rayden stepped out of the examination room, Lucia approached them immediately, concern visible on her face.
"How was the analysis?" she asked.
Rayden shook his head. "Still ongoing. Mr. Elien and Clint are doing their best."
Lucia gave a slow nod before Julian spoke up. "We should gather everyone. There's something I need to share."
"I'll call my team," Rayden offered, already turning to signal his subordinates. Lucia followed Julian without question.
Moments later, everyone had gathered in the dimly lit meeting chamber within the safehouse. The air was tense, the mood grave. Julian stepped forward, all eyes on him.
"When I was retrieving the sample, I made detours to each of the gates," Julian began.
Clarissa raised an eyebrow. "So that's why you took so long to come back."
Rayden leaned forward slightly. "What did you find?"
Julian exhaled. "Each gate is heavily guarded. Not only by infected troops, but also three skill users per post."
