Chapter 15 - Chapter 15

-Who are you? -Nikael asked with a firm tone.

-My...Miriam Sajar. -Answered a little nervously, a beautiful fifteen-year-old girl, white, with green eyes, blonde hair, and wearing tight jeans and a black blouse.

-Enter and go to the other end of the candy store. -Nikael ordered while still pointing one of the guns at him.

Without letting his guard down, Nikael read his note and it still said the same thing, he looked at Miriam and said:

-If you have a note, place it on that table and then back away.

Nikael put away one of his pistols, took Miriam's note and read that the note said:

-"At the address xxxx, in the Sugar House candy store, there is a human waiting for his pursuer; will you look for the human you want to see?

Nikael folded the note very carefully, put it in his pocket, looked through the window of the candy store to see if there was any other Being approaching, seeing that it was safe, he opened the door but when he was about to leave, Miriam asked him without hiding her concern:

-What are you doing? Are you going to leave?

Nikael watched as Miriam was eagerly waiting for his answer, but he just made the silence gesture with his index finger and ran towards the building in front of him on the other side of the street. That building had small premises dedicated to different businesses. He entered a store that sold magazines, comics, mangas and books, he opened Miriam's note and it had changed, now it had the following written:

"At the address xxxx, in the three-story building, with a white and cream facade, in the premises on the first floor with the sign "Fantastic World", a human has just entered, the human holding this note. Hee hee hee"

Nikael looked through the shop window and saw no one nearby. He ran back to the candy store. He saw from outside that the young woman was still in the corner of the candy store; He entered, walked towards Miriam and handed her the note, after which he walked away again.

-If you didn't come to attack me, why did you come? -Nikael asked since he distrusted her.

-I want to stay with you until this is over. If we survive until eight at night, we will overcome this terrifying game. -Was Miriam's response, who seemed to be scared.

-Until eight? How do you know that? -Asked Nikael, whose doubts were increasing.

-When I woke up here I received a note that more or less said that a game would begin, and that I would have to choose between being the hunter or the prey. At the end of the note was the question: Will you survive the twelve hours of hunting or will you hunt for twelve hours? -That was the explanation that Miriam could offer Nikael.

Nikael didn't even have time to think, as the two heard a loud, chilling howl.
