Finn finished drinking the tea Brock had made for him and got out of bed. He went for the door and entered the other room. The shop was the same as it was before he had left for the bunker. Only difference was that there was now a small kid messing around with the armor.
Finn walked over to her and knelt down pressing his hands on his knees. "What you doing there kiddo"
Upon seeing Finn, a wide smile was painted on Makkas face.
"Finn!"
She jumped up and hugged him. Finn caught her and grinned. "I missed you too."
After the heart warming reunion, it was time to get back to the tree house so they could start getting ready to leave.
"Can you believe it Makka in two days well be gone from this awful place."
Makka grinned and nodded in excitement.
They were about to leave the shop until Finn took a glance outside through the window.
'It's snowing.'
[Not to worry as long as you wear the suit some snow like this won't make you cold]
'Still people would get suspicious'
[Then I think I've got a good idea.]
Suddenly the golden string started circling around Finn and in the next moment he was wearing a grey shirt with a black coat on top of it.
'Stylish!'
"Makka, you cold? Need anything to keep you warm?"
The young girl shook her head. "No, I'm fine."
They walked out the shop and the sound of the shop bell rang. Maybe for the last time Finn would hear it.
Walking through the village Finn looked around reminiscing. Every interaction he had here, every time he was beaten here and every thing he witnessed here. Soon enough they passed all the houses and were now entering the forest where their tree house was.
'Yep… I won't be missing this place.'
They got up to the tree house. Makka went to play around with her toys. Finn went to grab a bag he had found and saved for this day to pack up some of their clothes and things they'll need. After an hour and so Finn was finally done packing, Makka was feeling drowsy and fell asleep. Finn looked out the same make shift window he looks out from each night.
The tree was as usual still in sight from what he heard before the tree was much bigger than it seemed, there was some rumors going around that it took someone eight months to only travel around half the trunk of the tree on foot.
'Just how big is that thing really.'
Finn didn't know why but this night in particular the moon was more beautiful than ever and with the golden shine from the tree with the shine from the moon and the cold breeze in the air he truly felt at peace that night.
Days passed and with it came the day they'd leave the tree house Finn grabbed the bag and made it down the tree house. Makka was already waiting outside for him she was wearing a black dress he had ready for her it really complimented her hair color.
They made their last walk through the village and to Brocks shop where he was waiting outside for them.
They walked up to him.
"You kids ready?"
They both nodded at him.
"Alright then follow me. The car is waiting for us some distance away from here."
After some tedious walking and Makka complaining to Finn that her feet hurt for a couple times they finally got to the car and got inside.
Brock was taking the driver seat Finn sat in the seat next to him and Makka had the back seats all to herself.
After some settling down, they were finally on the road.
Some time had passed since they started moving Makka was currently asleep since it was pretty late at night at the moment Finn was sitting his head rested on his hand while looking out the window his expression calm.
"You know… that suit you have may cause you some trouble."
Finn turned to face Brock.
"If it comes to that at least you'll take care of Makka right?"
Brock gave Finn a reassuring smile.
"You've got my word for it kid."
They finally made it to the check point.
Brock parked the car since they all needed to go do some paper work in the building.
"We'll go inside and get you recommended by me and everything will go smoothly… that's what I'm hoping happens at least."
Finn woke up Makka with a few taps on the shoulder.
Soon they were inside the building.
Finn looked around observing the place.
It was definitely more modern than anything he had seen in the village. The walls were all clean and white the furniture was all stunning and the people there all looked of high standard.
They found their way to the counter.
The man behind the counter looked like he was in his early fifties.
'And by the looks of it he doesn't seem to like doing his job.'
The mans eyes looked almost dead with how lifeless and demotivated they were.
"Name and your ID number please." The man had a raspy sounding voice.
Brock filled out his personal information.
The man turned his sleep deprived glare towards Finn and Makka "and what about the kids."
"Oh, I was hoping to recommend them."
The man grabbed a paper from his desk.
"Then fill out this paper then well have to search them for any illegal items and you'll be on you way."
While Brock was filling out the paper Finn spotted someone whom spiked his interest.
A man tall in posture and wearing a long brown coat he had long black hair and a growing beard and midnight black eyes that if you stare in them long enough, you'd get lost in them like they are a void. The look on his face was fierce and serious.
After Brock finished filling out the paper. Finn and Makka were searched for any illegal items. Everything went well to say the least.
They were about to head out and back to the car until.
"Sir, you'll have to stop right there"
They all stopped in their place.
'Nothing can ever go according to plan I guess'
They all turned around.
'Ah of course.'
[Finn this isn't good.]
The man Finn had taken note of was the one right behind them.
"I am the captain of the search and rescue department."
He pulled out a badge and showed it to them.
"The name is Rain and I'll need that boy over there to come with me for questioning."
Brock was quick to respond.
"I's sorry sir but I won't be able to do that."
Rain took one look at them then responded.
"Then it can't be helped I was hoping to do this peacefully… detain him."
Suddenly the guards tackled Finn to the ground and held him down.
"Finn no!" cried out Makka as she ran out to him but Brock held her back.
'Man, this is so shameful getting shoved to the ground like this!'
Rain looked down at Finn. "Don't command your suit to take any action or you'll have to deal with me."
Finns eyes widened with shock. "Y…Yes."
'You heard the man don't do anything… not yet at least.'
They grabbed Finn upright and got him on his feet. They were currently taking him away.
Finn yelled out as they pushed him away. "Keep to your words Brock! Take care of her for me!"
