Chapter 52 - Jogo's Blind Love

After a long and exhausting night, Al finally allowed himself a brief pause.

There was no urgent information that required immediate action. The members he had dispatched the previous night to keep watch over that suspicious area had returned with nothing useful to report. It seemed that for now, checking on Rudi and Jogo at school would be one of the better ways to gather more information.

The morning sky over Makazhar was bright, tinged with moisture in the air. It wasn't a regular school day, and for Al, it was shaping up to be an irritating one.

He arrived at school earlier than usual—something that rarely happened. It wasn't because he felt particularly enthusiastic, but rather because today was the scheduled photoshoot for the graduating yearbook. A formal picture, supposedly meant to be cherished for a lifetime. For Al, however, such things held little importance. His real purpose today was much more practical: he wanted to observe Jogo and Rudi.
