Chapter 116 - His Mother

I pushed Cooper away and sprang to my feet as the woman stepped into the room.

"Why did you do that? I'm still a patient; you can't do that to me," Cooper whined as he stared at me. His attention was still on me. He hadn't noticed the woman yet.

When I didn't respond to him, he followed my gaze and noticed the woman too.

"Mom?" He gasped once he saw her. "What are you doing here?" He approached her and then hugged her. But the woman didn't respond to him; she kept her eyes on me and continued watching me.

Her stare made me nervous. I lowered my eyes when her gaze grew more intense.

"Mom, what are you doing here? What a surprise!" Cooper laughed, holding her.

"Won't you send her away?" The woman spoke up.

"Send her away? Who?" Cooper questioned.

The woman sighed. "What on earth are you doing in your condition? Can't you hold your manhood for a day or two? Why do this in a hospital?" She scolded him.

"I wasn't... doing anything. You interrupted us," Cooper grumbled.
