Just like the warning, Evan stepped back slowly, arm, wrist and fingers more than a little tired by now from gripping the pot as he tried to evade the dangers.
By the time he reached the end of the hallway, he moved the line back up at the wall and calmed his breathing.
He had been sweating profusely as he made his way through. This is much harder to accomplish than the main quest that he had already finished.
When Evan was ready to continued, instead of pushing forwards, he stayed low on the floor again. He didn't want to waste way too much energy, especially since he remembered just how badly the next corridor would be.
