Chapter 23 - The Librarian

The next morning, King Edward approved Raymond's request to have Una be their guide on their quest.

It didn't take much convincing. He wanted her out of his city anyway.

Samantha and Nikki saw this as an opportunity to go shopping. Una definitely needed new clothes.

Raymond found a cafe and decided it was a good time to go over the spells he learned from Lilith's book.

He sat down with a cup of something warm and sweet, and pulled up the interface The Voice and made for him.

It wasn't the first thing on the list, but, holy crap, there was a flight spell!

With Fly he could fly without wings, and flex his will for speed.

What was at the top was Silence, a spell he could use to create an area where the only ones that could hear his conversations were he and the person he was talking to.

With Blink, he could teleport fifteen feet in any direction as long as he had space.

Unseen would make him and any one he was touching invisible, it would also allow him to see other invisible people or objects.

Enhance would make him, or anyone he cast on, stronger, faster and more agile for ten minutes.

"Game changers." Raymond muttered to himself. Any one of these spells would make life so much easier. With all of them, the possibilities were endless.

It was that point he realized he didn't have any earth magic. His usual way of gaining magic wouldn't serve him in the middle of the market. He decided to head to the Mage Association library.

The library was deceptively large. The entrance was one small, in-ornate door on the far left side of the association lobby. Inside, it looked like the entire building could fit with room to spare.

Raymond gave a low whistle as looked around. He shook his head, he was going to need some help.

He strode over the desk where he saw a sight that nearly stole his words out of hid throat.

She was about five feet tall and wearing four inch black heels. Her black pencil skirt was a nice contrast against the snow white fur of her shapely legs.

Her cute little cotton-tail poked over the top of her skirt. There was just enough space between her skirt and her blouse for Ray to see she was wearing lacy red panties.

Her white long sleeve blouse was open at the top just enough to make room for breasts much larger than Ray would have expected on a Bunnykin.

She had bows tied at the end of each long ear, round glasses perched at the edge of her cute little nose, and her red painted fingernails were tapping at super-speed on a computer at the far end of the customer service space.

Raymond cleared his throat to get her attention.

"Be right with…" she glanced over her shoulder and froze. Stopped what she was doing and walked over to Raymond.

"Oh Sir Raymond, what can I do for you?" her voice was suggestive and she purposefully bowed just low enough for him to get a good look down her blouse.

Raymond licked his lips and smiled. "I didn't mean to interrupt, I'm just looking for some information."

She waved at the computer like it was a nuisance. "Don't worry, that's not important. You saved the city, and me personally. For you everything else can wait."

Raymond smiled and shook his head. "Just doing what I'm here to do, no need for all of that."

"No, you don't understand. That bolder you stopped was headed right for me. I know that's not why you did it, but I'd be dead if you hadn't."

She drew a hand slowly across her chest as she stared in his eyes. "I owe you my life."

Raymond shifted his pants uncomfortably, which drew the bunny girl's eyes. She had a lewd grin on her face when she looked back up.

Raymond cleared his throat trying to remember what he was there for, desperately trying to control himself.

"Books!" he finally blurted. "I need something on earth magic, and whatever you have on the Forgotten Desert,"

The sexy librarian looked disappointed for just a second. She thought for a moment while drumming her fingers on her chest.

"Well, Earth magic is easy, we have all you could need on the top floor. The forgotten desert stuff might be on the bottom floor in the archives, but im not sure how much we have."

"That's great." Raymond said. "Is there a fee, or a membership that I need?"

She shook her head smiling. "Like I said anything for you, Sir Raymond." The seductive tone back in her voice.

"Great." Raymond smiled. "You mind guiding me? By the way, what's your name?"

"I'd be more than happy too, I'm Sophie!" she bounced on her toes as she held out her hand for him to shake.

Raymond took her hand and kissed it, causing Sophie to bite her lip and blush fervently.

She stepped out from behind the desk and beckoned Raymond to follow her with her finger.

She led him to a panel on a pillar in the center of the library. When she got close, the panel and square on the floor lit up with green light. She waved Raymond closer with a mischievous grin.

Once Raymond joined her, she pressed the symbol for the top floor. The square lurched upward, throwing Raymond off balance slightly.

Sophie giggled as she caught his arm then wrapped it around her. She smirked as she pressed her body against him, feeling the exact reaction she was hoping for.

Raymond chuckled softly as understanding finally hit him.

Sophie kept hold of his hand and led him to where the magic books were kept. She made sure to stay in front of him, swaying her hips hypnotically as she walked.

Once they made it to the right shelf she slowly bent over low in front of Raymond, and pretended to be searching as she waved her round behind slightly.

Then she turned around and leaned her body against Raymond as she stood on her toes and reached up high grabbing another book.

Raymond kept his eyes firmly on her body as she moved, resisting the urge to take her where she stood, even if it was obvious that's exactly what she wanted.

Without a word, she took Raymond's hand again and led him back to the lift. Once there, she wrapped both his arms around her body and soft grinded her body against him as they rode to the bottom floor.

Raymond just smiled and enjoyed her attention. "Business first." he thought to himself, struggling to stay focused.

The archives on the bottom floor looked very different from the library above. It was made of the same stone as the dungeon, was much smaller and lit by torchlight.

The few shelves that were there lined the walls all around the circular room. The only break in the shelves was a small lit hearth. There was a large plush rug surrounded by plush armchairs facing the hearth, giving the place a comfy feel.

Sophie led Raymond by the hand to the shelf to the left of the fireplace. She opened a drawer in the middle of the shelf and removed a large scroll.

She handed it to Raymond, her big eyes looking up at Raymond. "This is all we have on the Forgotten Desert."

Raymond tucked the scroll and the books in his magic bag, then bit his lips looking into Sophie's eyes.

Hey placed a hand on her face gently. "Thank you Sophie, you've been a big help"

Sophie kissed his palm then slowly slid his hand down to her chest. "Is there anything else I can show you?"
