Chapter 41 - Alecia's Revelation

Raymond sat on his knees, breathing heavy, watching The Green Dragon lay on her side on the cold stone panting.

Her body was limp and her wings drooped. Every couple seconds she would inhale sharply as another shiver would run up her spine.

Aftershocks of the soul quaking sex they just had.

She looked over at him, only one eye visible from Raymond's vantage point. Her chest heaving as she tried to speak.

"You… can't be… Human."

Raymond chuckled, then stopped when he heard a snicker behind him.

He turned around to see Nikki sitting up, watching them, with a pool of white liquid on the ground between her legs.

"Of course my Alpha could conquer a Great Dragon!" Nikki giggled.

"He did not…" The Dragon began when another shiver shot up her spine. "Who am I kidding, yes, he did."

She rolled on to her back with a satisfied smile.

"I know, I saw." Nikki giggled, biting her lip. "Maybe you should manhandle me like that next time."

Raymond chuckled. "Be careful what you wish for my dear."

"Hmm, don't threaten me with a good time." Nikki replied, her voice taking on a sultry tone.

The other three ladies began to wake, groaning, each holding their head as if they had a massive headache.

"Oh, what happened?" Samantha asked, her head throbbing. "Did you pass the challenge?"

Raymond grinned and looked back at the Dragon. "I do believe I may have."

The Green Dragon sat up slowly. "Yes you did indeed Human, and I'm going to be feeling that for a while." she said, licking her lips.

"It's been ages since I've been satisfied like this, much less dominated. You are definitely touched by the devine. Just promise you'll come by and "pay tribute" every now and again."

As she spoke she manifested a green scale identical to the one the Red Dragon gave, and floated it over to Raymond.

Raymond took the scale in his hands and slid his fingers over the surface. It was smooth, warm, and pulse with an inner light that was almost hypnotizing.

"Thank you, and I promise I will, Mother." he said teasingly with a wink

The Dragon blushed and turned her face away from Raymond before peaking back at him.

"Now, go finish your quest, Human, I will need a bath, and a nap, before I can begin restoring the desert."

"Wait, Great um Mother?" Alecia spoke up, not sure of what was going on. "Can you have your Scorpionkin guards stand down so we can pass?"

"No need to be so formal, my child, just 'Mother' is fine, especially to you." She snapped her fingers. "Those bugs were not my guards, just over zealous children. They will bother you no further."

"Thank you Mother" Alecia said bowing. "But what did you mean by 'especially me'."

Mother looked at her curiously. "Do you not know, child? You are of my own bloodline. It has been many generations, but the scent of your blood is unmistakable. You are my direct descendant."

Alecia was mind blown. She just stared in disbelief for several seconds.

"But, I thought we descended from The Scion."

"No child, you descended from 'A' scion, not 'The' Scion. Each Great Dragon had children over the millennia, some of those bloodlines still live, some do not."

"The Scion you speak of, the scion of the Golden Dragon, disappeared before he could have children. His bloodline does not walk…"

She stopped, sniffed, then looked intensely at Raymond. "Interesting" was all she said.

She stood to her feet slowly then beckoned for Alecia to come closer.

Alecia approached her slowly and bowed deeply.

"Stand up and open your mouth child."

Alecia did as she was told. Mother pricked her finger with a claw and dropped a single drop of blood on her tongue.

"That will activate the latent power within you." she sniffed. "And your descendants."

Suddenly, Alecia's eyes went completely white. A light shone from her mouth and ears as she floated off the ground.

There was a bright flash causing everyone to turn away and shield their eyes.

When the light faded Alecia stood there, visibly changed.

Her horns were longer and sharper, her eyes were emerald green, her body was curvier, and her wings shifted between green and red in the dancing torchlight.

Alecia stared at her hand, flexing her fingers in disbelief. She felt immensely powerful.

She looked up at Mother, amazement all over her face.

"I feel amazing. I feel like I can take on the world!"

"You're not wrong, dear. This makes you one of the most powerful people on the planet."

"But don't go thinking you can take on this one." she said, looking lewdly at Raymond. "He's on a whole different level."

Raymond just smiled and winked at the two women.

Mother smiled wide and shooed everyone out of the temple. Before Raymond could leave she pulled him back and kissed him passionately.

Khalifa and her squad followed Raymond's trail to the Green Dragon's oasis.

They stood atop a high dune trying to figure out how Raymond and his party made it through the hordes of scorpions below.

They didn't see any tracks of signs of battle. It was incredibly confusing.

In the end, with dawn approaching, the Demon squad decided to fly over the scorpions and try to find Raymond in the oasis.

They were shocked mid way through the flight, when all the scorpions simply vanished.

The Demons landed on the edge of the oasis and stared at the large stretch of land that had just been crawling with patrolling scorpions.

Maleek stood next to Khalifa and shook his head. "I have a bad feeling about this. There is something strange about this place."

Khalilfa nodded. "You're probably right, but we have a job to do. No matter how strong or strange this 'hero' is, we can't go back empty handed."

Khalifa turned to her squad, about ten Demons in total. Her eyes swept over their grim faces in the dark. They were all expendable.

"Pair up and spread out." Her voice was firm as she spoke. "This is not a large oasis. It shouldn't take long to find them. Send up a flair when you do."

"Yes Mistress." came the reply in unison. With that they all melted into the shadows to begin their search.

Khalifa started down the main path with Maleek at her side, their eyes sharp.

Khlifa and Maleek had been hunting together for decades. Their relationship was not purely professional, but in times like these, they had to keep their heads in the game.

They were facing an unknown enemy, on unknown terrain, under unknown circumstances.

The situation was nothing new, but something about this felt different. It felt off, like they had all the puzzle pieces, but couldn't see the picture.

Who is this guy?
