INTRO: THE BREAKTHROUGH

So, there he was, floating half dead, shirtless, hair on fire, smirking like he just dodged an arranged marriage.

Li Yun Wao was in the middle of his ninth heavenly tribulation.

(From now on I'll only say Yao Wao, well because you don't pay me to write.)

Ninth…

Because apparently, the heavens had personal issues.

Thunder roared, the clouds grew black, and purple lightning split the sky like God's anger.

But Yun Wao, he didn't seem to care.

"This is the ninth and the last artifact." He muttered, tossing out a red glowing paper radiating intense energy.

"The blood talisman."

BOOM. Purple light flared

"AGGHHH."

Still grinning, blood leaking from his lips, Yun Wao mocked the heavens.

"That's it…? That's all you can do? I've gone through worse."

He laughed harder.

Because pain meant progress.

That was the edge. The razor thin line between mortality and something far more terrifying.

The wind howled. The earth trembled.

And then…

Silence.

The tribulation had ended.

He hovered there, robes shredded, steam rising from his body, hair wild like a demon's crown.

(Honestly? Man looked like a final boss in its final form.)

His smirk faded.

Eyes narrowed. Breathing ragged.

He looked beyond the worlds to the place that once meant everything.

The Li Clan.

His family. His parents. His people.

Now? Gone.

"I'm an immortal now, but I still can't take revenge for my family, for my parents."

Fists clenched. Aura cracked the air around him.

The heavens had stopped.

But his storm was just beginning.

He raised a hand to the sky, not to beg.

But to declare war.

"I'm still not strong enough but I will do it. I will kill them all.

BOOOM.

The skies exploded, not from heaven's wrath… but his.

(Buckle up, soul cultivators. This is just the prologue.)
