Chapter 111 - Chapter 111: Martial Soul Awakening—Blue Silver King and Two-Winged Angel

Chapter 111: Martial Soul Awakening—Blue Silver King and Two-Winged Angel

Outside the Pope's Hall, Qian Xunji watched the scene unfold, a thoughtful look in his eyes. A precise strike from over ten meters away—with more cultivation, this range would increase. He was practically half a marksman already.

Qian Renchuan's greatest strength was undoubtedly his hidden weapons. The Tang Sect's secret arts were a dimensional downgrade to this world—they couldn't be allowed to gather dust.

But soul master battles ultimately relied on martial souls. So how could the Six-Winged Angel be used with hidden weapons? Soul power-infused projectiles would require incredibly fine control and mental energy.

Then Qian Xunji's eyes lit up. When the Six-Winged Angel was released, feathers naturally fell from its wings. Weren't these the perfect hidden weapons?

If he could make these soft angel feathers as sharp and deadly as the leaf used earlier, then they could serve as hidden weapons themselves.

"Looks like I'll need Chrysanthemum Douluo to teach him about martial soul metallization—he has experience there."

If Qian Renchuan could fight with long-range hidden weapons, close-range angelic swordplay, combine the angel's speed and purification, and use kiting tactics—Qian Xunji couldn't even imagine how disgusting that would be to fight against.

And with the Angel Domain's suppressive power turning enemies into sitting ducks, that would be a devastating, cross-dimensional tactic.

The next day.

At the Hall of Spirits, beneath the Angel God's statue, Qian Daoliu, the six Grand Elders, Qian Xunji, Ah Yin, and Qian Renxue were all present. Their gazes focused on the center, where six-year-old Qian Renchuan stood for his martial soul awakening.

Qian Daoliu's face glowed with kindness. He was immensely pleased with his grandson—obedient, filial, extraordinarily mature. He believed this was a divine miracle sent by the Angel God, and that Renchuan was the chosen one to fulfill the Qian clan's long-cherished dream.

"Little Chuan, are you ready?" Qian Daoliu asked, his tone not loud, but heavy with authority.

"I'm ready, Grandpa."

Qian Renchuan was sure he would awaken the continent's top martial soul—just like his grandfather, father, and sister. With it, he would become a peerless powerhouse and wipe out the inherently evil Tang Clan, transforming the Clear Sky Sect into a new Tang Sect.

"Don't be nervous."

Qian Daoliu lightly waved his hand. Boundless soul power surged forth, forming a magical array under his control. No runes, no awakening stone needed.

Golden light enveloped Qian Renchuan. He instinctively closed his eyes, as if returning to the comfort of his mother's arms.

"Stretch out your right hand."

He did so. A small golden figure appeared and entered his body. His eyes burst open with golden light. His golden hair lit up, his irises turned gold, and behind him appeared a small, hazy female figure with only two wings.

Everyone was stunned—Qian Daoliu, the six elders, Qian Xunji, Ah Yin, and Qian Renxue.

A two-winged angel.

Qian Daoliu felt like his worldview was collapsing. He blinked, doubting his eyes—only to see the same sight.

What had gone wrong? Was Ah Yin's body defective? Or was this because of mating with a transformed soul beast? Had the Angel God punished them, downgrading Qian Renchuan's soul?

Qian Renchuan's senses were sharp. Seeing their stunned expressions, he turned and saw only two wings behind him—and understood immediately.

"Grandpa…"

Qian Daoliu lowered his hand and turned away, a sorrowful expression on his face. He couldn't tell whether it was Ah Yin's fault or divine retribution. Either way, his grandson would suffer.

"Little Chuan, step out. Let your father test your innate soul power."

Sensing Qian Daoliu's disappointment, Qian Renchuan panicked. "I have another martial soul!"

Everyone's eyes lit up—Qian Daoliu, the six elders, even Qian Xunji.

Qian Renchuan raised his left hand. Activating Xuantian Gong, he merged a unique warmth with his soul power. A faint blue light appeared in his palm, revealing a blade of grass—vibrant with life, crystalline, and entirely blue.

Ah Yin beamed with joy. Her son had inherited her martial soul. Though still a Blue Silver King, it bore the bloodline of the Blue Silver Empress. Once she stepped down and brought him to the Blue Silver Forest for a second awakening, he would obtain the true Blue Silver Empress soul.

Qian Daoliu finally looked relieved. A dual martial soul—and both top-tier. Though not as monstrously talented as Qian Renxue, this was still excellent.

"Little Chuan, let's see your innate soul power."

Qian Xunji handed him a crystal orb. At this point, no one on the continent had successfully cultivated twin martial souls. Qian Daoliu had once fought Poseidon Douluo herself and believed twin souls, even with full power, were inferior to the Six-Winged Angel.

But in Qian Xunji's eyes, twin top-tier martial souls with full power were no less than the Six-Winged Angel. With proper Spirit Hall training, this was a future god-rank candidate.

Qian Renchuan pressed his hand to the orb—it immediately lit up with dazzling brilliance.

Innate full soul power. Twin martial souls.

Qian Daoliu thought of that girl Qian Xunji had sold years ago—what was her name again? He couldn't recall. But to think his own grandson now had this level of talent. If the issue with twin martial souls could be resolved, Spirit Hall would gain another powerhouse on par with Golden Crocodile Douluo.

Several elders were ecstatic. A twin martial soul with full soul power? They wanted to take him as a disciple. Since he didn't awaken the Six-Winged Angel, he didn't have to be trained by Qian Daoliu—it was fair game.

But then they paused. Who knew more about Blue Silver Grass than Ah Yin? If they tried to teach him, they'd only ruin him.

Qian Xunji pondered. With twin martial souls, it made sense to train the Blue Silver King first. With so many leaves on its vines, it was perfect for martial soul metallization—as hidden weapons.

He'd have Ah Yin train Renchuan to control those vines with absolute precision. With split-thought control, he could manage them like extra limbs.

Holy hell.

Qian Xunji shuddered. What kind of monster was he about to create?

A true Thousand-Handed Asura.
