Dense shadow chakra surged out once more from Shikamaru's cross-legged figure, enveloping his entire body in an instant.
Within the shadows, a pair of Four-Phase Shadow Eyes tinged with faint purple reappeared behind him. They began spinning rapidly, the shuriken-shaped tomoe with four points spinning faster and faster…
No one knew how much time passed before the tomoe suddenly stopped, the abrupt halt feeling completely seamless. As they stopped, a new projection of shadow eyes took form behind Shikamaru.
A pair of five-tomoe shadow eyes, each tomoe evenly spaced, no longer converging like before. The design now looked even more mysterious and menacing.
As the shadow chakra trembled, the projection faded, and the overflowing chakra quickly retracted into his body. Shikamaru finally opened his tightly shut eyes. In them, the same five-tomoe eyes gleamed brilliantly.
He chuckled softly, now understanding the new ability granted by the evolved eyes. In disbelief, he murmured to himself, "The Five Elemental Shadow Eyes… I actually awakened the Five Elemental Shadow Eyes…"
"Shadow Ninjutsu – Shadow of Gold!"
Without withdrawing the power from his eyes, Shikamaru extended his right hand and shouted. A black light instantly flashed from his palm, and a pitch-black kunai, completely formed from shadow chakra, appeared in his grasp.
He casually tossed it, and with a sharp thud, it pierced deep into the wall, disappearing who knew how far.
"As I thought, it's fully materialized with a metallic attribute. The penetration is insane!" Shikamaru couldn't help but marvel aloud.
"Shadow Ninjutsu – Shadow of Wood!"
As expected, following his command, a thick black wooden stake burst from the ground. He reached out and touched it, feeling the vibrant life energy pulsing within. The corners of his mouth lifted in satisfaction. He continued testing: Shadow of Water, Shadow of Fire, Shadow of Earth…
Unexpectedly, the Shadow of Fire startled even Shikamaru. When he released it, it manifested as black flames, exactly like Amaterasu! But to his surprise, casting it through shadow chakra consumed far less mental energy than his usual Shadow Amaterasu technique.
Ideas flashed rapidly through his mind, wind, rain, thunder, lightning, gold, wood, water, fire, earth… With his new Five Elemental Shadow Eyes, he could now essentially perform jutsu of all elements! Though they all belonged to the shadow lineage, their power rivaled, if not surpassed, standard techniques.
The five tomoe in his eyes slowly spun, then reverted to the Four-Phase Eyes, spinning again into the Mangekyo pattern.
"Heh… From now on, fights are going to be a lot more fun."
Retracting his eye power, Shikamaru stepped out of the secret chamber and was immediately greeted by Temari, who had been anxiously waiting. Without hesitation, he pulled her into a tight embrace and whispered with concern,
"Silly girl… why didn't you go home first?"
"I wanted to wait for you," Temari replied brightly, savoring his warm and strong embrace.
Hearing the worry in her voice, Shikamaru glanced at the sky. She must've waited half a day. His heart softened. He kissed her lightly and said,
"Temari… thank you. I'll make you happy for the rest of our lives."
"Mmhmm! And I'll cling to you forever, Shikamaru!" she replied sweetly.
For the first time since becoming Hokage, Shikamaru spoke such tender words. Holding Temari in his arms, he felt a rare sense of contentment. Before, he believed power alone mattered, that women were just trophies. With strength, he thought, he could have any woman he wanted. But now he realized… emotional connection was its own beautiful power.

"In any case, Tsunade… I've decided. I want to go out and train for a while. I'll leave the village to you."
In the Hokage's office, Shikamaru suddenly declared this to Tsunade.
"What? Why?" Tsunade asked in surprise and reluctance.
Shikamaru explained how his eyes had evolved into the Five Elemental Shadow Eyes, and that he wanted to test and refine these new abilities in real combat. That was the best form of training. He also mentioned retrieving the shadow of the One-Tailed Shukaku again, but had no intention of chasing tailed beasts for now.
"So, how long will you be gone?" Tsunade asked, still shocked by his new powers.
"Not sure. Half a year? A year? Either way, I'll definitely return in two and a half years," he answered uncertainly. Part of his reason for leaving was training, but more than that, he wanted to explore the entire shinobi world. After all, he hadn't come to this world through transmigration just to stay in one village.
"Mm… Shikamaru, I want you…" Tsunade groaned sensually, eyes filled with longing. Knowing she couldn't change his mind, she decided to enjoy one last night of passion before he left.
Of course, Shikamaru didn't refuse. His hands slid skillfully under her clothes, fondling her incredible chest as he kissed her ear, then trailed downward…
Their breaths grew heavier. Shikamaru lifted her onto the desk, quickly undressing her and raising her hips. Tsunade leaned back, supporting herself with her hands.

"W-What are you saying, Ayame-sis?!" Yakumo squeaked, but her heart skipped a beat… because she'd been thinking the same thing.
"Hehe, don't lie! I know you like Shikamaru-sama too!" Ayame teased, giggling.
"I-I do not!" Yakumo's face turned an even deeper shade of red, like she might bleed from embarrassment.
"Liar~" Ayame laughed.
"Eek! Ayame-sis, you're teasing me again!" Yakumo shrieked and pounced, tickling her. Their laughter echoed like silver bells throughout the kitchen…

The final burst of hot essence filled Hinata's petite body. With a soft cry, she fainted in satisfaction. Seeing all the women sleeping soundly around him, Shikamaru finally closed his eyes, holding Hinata close.
On the third day after the battles began, Shikamaru finally pulled out of Hinata, exchanged a word with the now-awake Tsunade, and set out on his journey to train the Four-Phase and Five Elemental Shadow powers.

The Ninja Alliance, a vast, independent organization unaffiliated with any one ninja village. Here, shinobi from all countries could take or post missions. Although the pay was lower than village commissions, it was all theirs to keep.
When missing-nin appeared, bounties were also posted through the Alliance. These bounty boards were common in scattered ninja outposts across the lands.
At the Alliance HQ in the Land of Fire, a group of ninja, none wearing village headbands, were gathered around the latest bounty board.
"Whoa! No way… Ten S-Class targets from Konoha?!" one middle-aged man exclaimed.
The new bounty list read:
Hyuga Neji – 16, Konoha Jonin. Genius of the Hyuga clan. Created the Spider Gold Adhesion Technique. Combined with Byakugan and Gentle Fist, incredibly powerful. Target: Kill and retrieve proof. Bounty: 200 million. Rank: S-Class. Contractor: Unknown.
Hyuga Hinata – 15, Konoha Jonin. Hyuga genius with mutated Byakugan. Can mimic opponent's taijutsu and excels in close combat. Target: Kill and retrieve proof. Rank: S-Class. Bounty: 200 million. Contractor: Unknown.
Inuzuka Kiba – 15, Konoha Jonin…

Despite the chatter, no one dared to accept the missions. It was clear how powerful Konoha had become. Only an idiot would mess with them, this had to be the work of the other major villages.
In the shadows, one figure studied the board with interest. His gaze eventually settled on the name at the very bottom:
Nara Shikamaru – 15, Konoha Anbu Commander. Genius of the Nara clan. Created the kekkei genkai Shadow Eyes. Unmatched strength. Rumored to have led the Konoha Ten Colors. Target: Kill and retrieve proof. Rank: Super S-Class. Bounty: 2 billion. Contractor: Unknown.
The figure smirked, then glanced at another unfamiliar name:
Nan'u the Rogue – Age unknown (but definitely under 25). Affiliation: Unknown. Mastery of seven-element ninjutsu (Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Thunder), all expressed through dark-style techniques. Has slain countless Jonin-level shinobi. Target: Kill and retrieve proof. Rank: Super S-Class. Bounty: 5 billion. Contractor: Five Great Nations.
Without anyone noticing, the figure melted into the shadows and darted toward Konoha.
"Tsk… Hinata and the others have really earned the name 'Konoha Ten Colors,' huh?" Shikamaru chuckled.
That's right, this shadow was Shikamaru, back after two and a half years. He was also the infamous Nan'u the Rogue, the most wanted man on the list.
During his travels, he took countless missions from the Ninja Alliance, using high-level shinobi as training targets to refine his Shadow Four-Phase and Five Element powers. Regrettably, he never encountered a single Akatsuki member.
"Heh… Yakumo and Tenten didn't make the list? Tsunade must've hidden Yakumo. As for Tenten… well, once I'm back, it won't be long before Konoha has an Eleven Colors…"
He grinned, then suddenly tensed, his expression shifting.
Using his soul perception, Shikamaru sensed that Ino, Hinata, and Temari had surrounded him from three directions.
"Heh… let's see how much you've all improved," he said with a smile.
He assumed they were heading out for a mission, but for some reason had chosen to encircle him. Maybe they were testing him, not tracking Nan'u. They all knew Nan'u was Shikamaru himself.
"Shadow Ninjutsu – Domain of Thunder!"
Rumble!
A hundred meters around him instantly filled with black lightning conjured from thin air, crackling ominously. From just beyond the edge of the thunder domain, the three girls, Ino, Hinata, and Temari, appeared, ready for battle…
