Cheongsam instinctively grabbed Mianmian's wrist as they were immediately swallowed by the current of bodies. "Stay close.." he muttered, his eyes narrowing as an elbow nearly caught him in the ribs.
Mianmian, however, was unfazed. She stood straight, her expression calm as she took in the maze of appliances around them.
And just like that, the tide shifted.
It wasn't something loud or obvious. But as she moved through the crowd, people seemed to part without realizing it. Heads turned—maybe it was her delicate face, the tidy braid over her shoulder, or the quiet confidence in her steps—but no one dared block her path.
Cheongsam blinked, a little stunned as the once-packed aisle cleared for them like a ripple in water. "I'll never understand how you do that.." he muttered under his breath.
"I don't do anything," Mianmian said with a small smile as they approached the main service desk.
