Side Story 11.5: The Untraceables and the Decay.
During the time Lunaria had left Zephyria, at some other place, there was something else going on at another place away from the mortal eyes.
A place far beyond the multiverse, in fact, outside it. A realm existed, on the outside it looked like a large looking orb with stairs around it. On the inside, however, it was different. It had a large table with around twelve seats, however, only six were seated.
"You know, we are supposed to be having a meeting right, now?" A female voice, spoke in a teasing manner. "And here you are, focusing more attention on that book of yours~"
"Everyone, has assembled here, that's true. But the meeting has not started yet, Vey." A male voice, spoke back, in a calm tone. "So, I can, read it, as I like."
"The meeting, in fact, has started already. Its just not mentioned, yet, because someone can't control their addiction towards that annoying fluffy thing." Another male spoke, his tone serious and annoyed.
"Now, now, Nivor. No need, to point out Ryndra's habit and love for those stuff. She finds them, calming after all." Another female spoke, her tone gentle and motherly.
"Now, now, stop already, everyone. I suppose, we should start, now." Another male voice, spoke, his voice, calm and sincere. His figure, one of an ethereal clothing, and graceful white wings. His hair long and white like a light. His eyes golden, and figure majestic and tall. "It won't be fair for us to behave like this, right now. After all..."
"We are the Astral Sovereigns." The words left the figure's mouth. The six beings present in this realm, were none other than the six sovereigns.
"That's exactly, what I have, been trying to tell them. Ugh, but as if, any of you will ever listen." The same serious male spoke, his tone more annoyed than before as she sighed under his breath.
His figure, one of an intimidating figure. His hair long and silver-lavender in colour. His eyes bluish purple in colour. His clothing a black coat adorned with crimson glowing pattern. A black suit underneath it adorned with dark crimson patterns. "I sometimes, wonder, why do I even know, you all?"
Ignivor Pyrestorm, The Solar Sovereign, The General of Flame.
"Is that even a question?" The first male spoke once again. His tone deadpan, as if that was a really dumb question to him.
His figure, resembled that of someone elegant. His hair slight long and silver in colour. His eyes violet in colour. His clothing, included a dark outfit with a dark coat on top with magenta ornates, with dark-feathered wings on his back.
Celmorith Dreadspire, The Cosmic Sovereign, The Lord of Transience.
"Because, you already are aware, that there is no dimension or existence where you don't know of us." Celmorith continued, his tone carrying no sarcasm, and just deadpan honesty.
Ignivor sighed and spoke back. "I hate, how true that is, indeed."
A small giggle came out from the first female. She has long, silver hair styled in a refined manner and adorned with dark, black flowers and small bat-like wings ornaments. Her eyes sharp, glowing and faint purple in colour. Her attire being a gown blending the shades of black, gray, violet and a hint of glowing pink and the fabric layered with feathers, and small bat like wings behind her back.
Veythria Nightfall, The Void Sovereign, The kindest Void.
"Aww~ No need, to be annoyed, Nivor. Just admit, you love this~" Veythria teased, her behaviour a contrast to her status as the void sovereign.
"Stop teasing, Nivor, already now. Vey." The second female spoke again, in a motherly tone.
Her figure mature and motherly. Her skin slightly pale in colour. Her eyes soft, and deep violet in colour. She has long lavender hair, that reached the floor and a small flower crown of withered blue roses on her head. Her outfit a dark dress, with flowing white sleeves and covering her arms completely. A skirt endowed, with the dress reaching down covering her entire lower body. A trail of blue roses around her waist like a band, with hand bands on her right hand.
Eravalis Vaelthorne, The Death Sovereign, The Guide of Departures.
"Now, now, my dear siblings. Let's ignore all this stuff, right now, and focus on the main topic of our discussion then." The Ethereal figure spoke again. Before his, expression went serious.
Zephyros Stormwind, The Ethereal Sovereign, The Absolute One.
"Which is about, Vaelthar." As soon as the name, was spoken out from Zephyros mouth. All the other sovereigns(except one) stopped with their discussion and looked at him, serious as well, about the matter.
"Let's begin then." Celmorith spoke, clossing his book, and putting it aside.
"Good. Then let's begin." Zephyros continued. "Now then, as we have now seen. That according to our plan. Vaelthar was able to keep up with the current dawn."
"We never told the others, that we changed something with the dawn cycle. So that our plan will work." Celmorith added.
"Which is this... That after the second dawn we changed something in the dawn cycle so it makes the previous dawn be no more than a story for anyone of the new dawn to change as they like." Eravalis added, as Zephyros continued.
"Correct, and according to our plan. It was to test, that if Vaelthar ever came out of the End of Space and Time. If he wouldn't be able to keep up with anyone of the current dawn, that means our plan did not went as our expectations."
"But as he did, therefore." Ignivor spoke, as Veythria continued it further. "This means, things went according to our plan. Now this has been confirmed that... He wasn't doing anything in the second dawn on his own but rather..."
"But he was forced by one of the Monarchs." Eravalis spoke to finish the sentence, her tone carrying a hint of sympathy as she looked at Zephyros. "You regret sending him to the End of Space and Time, don't you? Considering now we know, it was never his fault nor his choice in the first place."
Zephyros sighed slightly and replied back. "Yes, I indeed do have some regrets. But there's one problem, now. Even if we try to help him, we can't because we have to affect the Monarch itself. And, due to their existence we have to be sure about which of the six Void Monarchs it is as well. After all... They are us of a different Nexus as our counterparts."
"They are like Anti-Authors. Someone who completely resists all the things a author can do. Like existence manipulation, fate manipulation, story manipulation and even reality manipulation. They can't be affected by those things, that's why we need someone who wasn't like us since the start... Like the Executioner." Celmorith added. Reminding everyone, about how bothersome a Monarch is to deal with.
"We can only rely on the information given to us by the Hand of Death, since her reincarnation." Ignivor spoke, mentioning an information, given to them once by Thanara.
"Correct, other than that. There is no way, for the Monarchs to be embraced by their End, into an everlasting moment of theirs. Monarchs or Voidborn Lord as they are called, can only be slayed by one of the other five reincarnations, with their memories, and power reawaken again." Eravalis said, mentioning how among everyone, only one was capable of dealing with the mess.
"I still dislike that they share the same status as mine." Veythria said, pouting annoyedly. Annoyed how the Monarchs were called Voidborn, as she was the Void Sovereign.
"Relax, Vey. They are us from a different Nexus, so their history and void is different than ours." Celmorith reassured, patting the void sovereign to reassure her. "But... Can't say the same about, Nullsyra though."
Hearing the last part, Veythria only got more displeased and laid her head down on the table, mumbling. "That doesn't makes it any better cely." Celmorith apologetically, stay quiet from her words.
Eravalis deciding to change the topic focused on something else. "Now that we think about it. We have found around twenty untraceables, have we not?"
The room went quiet for a moment. "The 'Untraceables', as we called them. The very people, not even our all-knowing awareness can trace." Ignivor spoke, remembering of all the Untraceables as they all called those people. "Yes, I suppose we have around twenty now. There can't be more now, the Monarchs can't have the options to choose between more than twenty potential vessels."
Celmorith followed up, with his sentence. "Exactly, their remnants could only make up a total of twenty vessels to choose from after their totality was wiped out by the Executioner in the past. There can't be any more vessels now."
"Very well. Then by that, we have all of them listed now." Zephyros spoke. "This includes, The Knowledge Seeker. The Trickster. The Beastful Flame. The Fallen Strongest."
"The Fallen Angel. The Throne of Blood. The Nightmare from Despair. The Burdened Pride."Said Ignivor.
"The Alpha Omega. The Doom Bringer. The Empty One. The Artist of Puppetry." Said Celmorith.
"The Doubtful Judge. The Silent Survivor. The Soul Maiden. The Mirror of Frost." Said Eravalis.
"And the last four... The Moon of Death. The Queen of Night. The Thunder of the Underworld. And, The Ocean of the Underworld." Said Veythria. "Among all of them, only six would be vessels. But there is also a chance that a Monarch hasn't choosed a vessel, yet, as well."
"Well let's exclude those, then. We are familiar with in this." Eravalis suggested, going first. "We can already exclude one of my three daughters. The Moon of Death, from this. I know my three daughters well and always close to them, mostly. So, I can assure, that she is safe from being a vessel."
"That's a fair reasoning, Mother of Death. I suppose, I'll go next then." Ignivor said, as he continued the discussion further. "We can also exclude The Knowledge seeker, and The Throne of Blood, from this. We all know the Knowledge Seeker, well. As for the Throne of Blood. I have, him occupied under my force at the same position as The Flame Emperor. Both serve right under, me as well. So I can, exclude him out of the guesses as well."
"I'll go next, then." Said Celmorith. "As we all already know, that Vaelthar is a vessel we can already exclude him out of this into the list of those who are vessels. Just like Ignivor's reasoning. I can say the same for The Alpha Omega. And, we can also exclude out The Mirror of Frost, and The Doubtful Judge, from this. They stay under Eryndra's command after all. Eryndra would had dealt with it right away, if The Mirror, and The Judge, were also a vessel."
"I suppose we can also exclude out The Thunder, and The Ocean, as well. Same reasoning as Nivor and Cely, obviously." Said Veythria. "But I think, we can also exclude The Queen of Night, from this as well. Her situation is way too normal, for a vessel."
"I see... We can exclude them, from this. As for the others. We aren't aware of their whereabouts or can't come to a conclusion, yet." Said Zephyros. Just as he was about to speak again. Someone cut him off, in between.
"What about, my Gentle Breeze, then." The sudden, voice of the one, who was quiet the whole time. Shook the sovereigns, for a moment. As they turned their focus towards the direction of the voice.
Her figure mature and sharp. She has long silver-blue hair reaching down her back. Her eyes sharp, yet gentle and deep icy-blue in colour. Wings like sharp feathers extending from her head like small draconic wings. Her attite a regal dress of black and silver white extending to her forearms. Her legs covered in form fitting, black thigh-highs with silver and blue detailing. Her boots sharp at the end. Large black and blue draconic wings, behind her with two draconic heads at the wing joints.
Eryndra, The Front Sovereign, The Final Judgement.
As the stared at her after she suddenly spoke, she continued further. "Well then, answer me." Her tone commanding, authorative and menacing. "Why not, talking about my gentle breeze? Because all of you, think of his nature to be a weakness. You assume, he might be dead, now. Even when he also is like any other Untraceable."
Eryndra's words hit sharp. Not because of her tone. But rather, due to the fact, that she rarely spoked to talk about someone. Which only ever happened, rarely.
Eravalis tried to calm her down. Only for her to be cut off in between. "Ery, we know you care for him b-"
"But what? Does the topic of the Untraceables, not involve him as well? You all forgot, that he was also untraceable by any means just like the other twenty. Him being mentioned in this, is just as important as the other twenty."
Hearing the argument, Zephyros sighed and smiled faintly. "Alright, I understand Eryndra, I won't exclude him this time. Does everyone else have an agreement?" Everyone sighed, as well and reluctantly agreed as well and said the same thing. "Alright."
Hearing the agreement, Eryndra calmed down. Her tone softer this time, yet still sharp. "Thank you. I'd like to apologise as well, for my temper just now. It's been long, I last had a talk with anyone else other than, my younger sister."
"It's alright, Ery. We know, why you are like this, now." Veythria reassured, with a smile. Until her head, raised slightly as she sighed. "Seems like, Azy is still recovering, so I have to go currently." She stood, from her seat, as her figure started disappearing into nothingness. "See ya all, later." Said Veythria, as she left the realm after disappearing.
"I suppose, I'll go as well. The Seraphim of my Nation, is also recovering." Said Ignivor, as he turned into flames scratches and left as well.
"I am going too, then." Said Eravalis, but the reasoning she mentioned was different. "Cause, I want to spoil my daughters, like I always do~" She faded into the floor, and left as well then.
"I can stay, for a bit longer. If you wish, for it, brother." Celmorith said, looking at Zephyros. "We can also discuss of another research, I found of the Decay."
Hearing of that Zephyros, slightly interested said. "I see, well, we can discuss about that." He turned towards, Eryndra. "Eryndra... Do you wish to stay for a moment longer? Or—" Eryndra cut him off.
"I'll leave, I came only to show that I am not shutting myself off, everyone, completely. I just... Still need some, more time, to get over, what happened, back then." Said Eryndra, as she unlike the other three. Walked out, instead rather than manifesting away.
The remaining two Sovereigns watched, as she left. Celmorith broke the silence, after she left. "She is still, not over it, is she?" To which, Zephyros replied back, with. "It seems, like that. She barely felt, herself again, after his disappearance. To her, he was an achor, of support. Everything that, she loves."
Both sighed slightly, before Celmorith, decided to focus on the other matter. "Well let's talk about, what I learnt further about the decay."
Zephyros nodded him to speak further. Celmorith continued. "Based on what I discovered, the decay has weakened everyone for their current dawn. Which was why, they aren't able to do as much as they could in the previous dawns. To remove the effect of the decay, we need someone who can get us to learn about, the inner structure of a Monarch. Thus, we can nullify it, only if we can get the complete knowledge, about a Monarch."
Zephyros hearing it, sighed slightly. "So even creating a replica of the old world, on such a higher plane compared to the old one. That it is no more than a page of a story, for even a molecule of this new replica. Despite that, the effect of the decay cannot be removed, still huh?"
"Our old world, still lingers the decay. So even if we can, still go there. It is unrepairable, even if we are beyond anything imaginable by one." Said Celmorith, his tone also one of disappointment. "We made the replica, and adjusted the Dawn cycle, after the second dawn. In hope, it will cause everyone to recover and be how they should be, once again. But they haven't, and won't be until someone pushes them way further than that, or if we can nullify it, through the information of a Monarch."
Zephyros leaned back, sighing once more and looking at the ceiling. "Endless dimensions, then endless higher dimensions above that. Then the river above that. Then the artifacts. Then the Eons. Then the tree. Then the relics. Then the chamber. Then the Labyrinth. Then the second River. Then the Genesis. Then the Vortex. Then the Gates. And then the Nexus, containing endless amount of all those infinite structures. Being above all of that."
"Even if someone of a new dawn can affect all this of the previous dawn. They aren't able to, affect all this of their current dawn." Said Celmorith.
The two Sovereigns, just sat in the silence, as time went by. Thinking about how much the decay had affected everyone, that became weaker for their current dawn. Even, if for a previous dawn, they are beyond all of it.
