On the Carriage
David pulled out a shimmering crystal from his pouch and handed it to Aaron.
"This is a Teleportation Crystal we got from Mud Golem," he said. "Once it's crushed, it can teleport up to ten people at once."
He paused for a moment, then added with a knowing smile,
"Now, this isn't like those basic crystals that just dump you somewhere near New World City, usually deep in the wilderness, anywhere from 10 to 20 kilometers away. That kind leaves you vulnerable, especially if you're teleporting in blind."
He tapped the crystal gently with his finger.
"This one's intermediate grade. Much more reliable. It'll take us directly into a nearby town inside the New World. No trekking through monster-infested woods or hoping we don't land in a swamp."
Aaron slipped the Teleportation Crystal directly into his inventory without a word.
Just then, Fiona stepped forward, her voice gentle yet determined.
"Auriel," she said, "now it's our turn to help you find the legendary equipment, the one the Blue Fairy hid deep within the Bluish Forest."
Auriel's gaze shifted toward Aaron. After a brief pause, he gave a small, reassuring nod.
She exhaled softly, a wave of relief washing over her. His silent approval meant more than words.
David tightened his grip on the reins and glanced back.
"So... should I head straight for the Bluish Forest," he asked, "or swing by Bluish City first? We could rest there and stock up on supplies."
Fiona's eyes narrowed instantly.
"David, are you serious?" she snapped. "Aaron's got bounty hunters on his tail, and you know that. Yet you're suggesting we stroll back into Bluish City like nothing happened?"
David sighed and gave a helpless shrug.
"I get it, I do. But I'm running low on enchanted arrows. Nearly out. Like it or not, I'll need to resupply before things get serious."
Aaron spoke up, his voice calm but edged with resolve.
"Let's return to Bluish City. You don't need to worry about me. If those bounty hunters show up again... this time, I won't just run. If things get out of hand, I can still escape. Trust me."
Auriel nodded, stepping beside him.
"I agree. Going back makes sense. We still have that Marsh Eel meat to sell, and don't forget the Croc-scaled lizard hides, they could fetch a decent price. It's a good chance to boost our funds before heading deeper."
At the Same Time at the Blueish City Gate.
Shadows shifted near the entrance of Blueish City. A few hooded figures lingered, quietly scanning the gate with practiced eyes.
Then, like a spark in the dark, one of them stiffened. A familiar carriage rolled into view, and along with it, their long-sought target.
One of the figures turned quickly to his companion.
"Go," he said in a low voice. "Report to Master Jimmy. The target just arrived."
"I'll stay here and keep the watch. Make sure we don't lose them before reinforcements arrive."
As his ally slipped away into the crowd, the scout narrowed his eyes, never looking away from the carriage. The hunt was about to begin again.
As the carriage entered the Blueish City, Aaron suddenly felt it again, those watching eyes. Ever since merging with the Uchiha bloodline, his Sharingan had awakened, and his senses had grown sharper. It wasn't just a feeling anymore; he knew someone was watching him.
He sat up and spoke calmly,
"Guys, I have to go. You all handle the supplies."
Auriel, David, and Fiona turned toward him, concern showing on their faces.
"David, stop the carriage," Aaron said firmly. "I'll meet you outside the city gate."
Without another word, he jumped off and ran toward the edge of the city.
Auriel and Fiona didn't waste a second. They climbed down as well.
"Aaron's right," Auriel said to David. "You get the arrows and sell off the loot. Tier 1 bounty hunters aren't a threat, we've got this."
Then he and Fiona dashed after Aaron.
One Kilometer Away
Now hidden in the trees just outside Blueish City, Aaron crouched silently on a thick branch. His Sharingan scanned the area for movement, his patience was sharp, his focus sharper. He knew the bounty hunters would show up soon.
Aaron scrolled through his jutsu list, frustration creeping in. Almost everything he had unlocked so far leaned toward offense, quick strikes, powerful blasts, lethal finishers. But in this moment, what he truly needed was protection.
He muttered under his breath, "So many ways to hit... and barely any to block."
Aaron browsed the Naruto System shop, looking through jutsu.
Many were flashy or powerful, but one caught his eye Earthen Wall Jutsu.
It only cost 2,000 points, and it could be used for defense.
That's exactly what Aaron needed. Something solid. Something that could protect him.
After buying the jutsu, the knowledge instantly filled Aaron's mind, every movement, every hand sign now second nature.
Feeling more prepared, he decided to upgrade his ninja throwing skills next. Being a ninja one must master the art of throwing weapons.
It cost him another 3,000 points, but the boost was worth it. His understanding of throwing weapons grew, and now he could hit targets with pinpoint accuracy, even from 200 meters away.
Aaron checked his remaining points only 4,000 left.
He paused, thinking carefully. He needed something clever, something hard to counter.
That's when he chose an illusion jutsu.
It was unpredictable, tricky to defend against, and perfect for one-on-one battles.
With the Sharingan, casting an illusion didn't require any hand signs.
Just a glance, one direct look into the enemy's eyes, was enough to activate the jutsu.
It was fast, silent, and impossible to predict. Before the opponent even realized it, they were already trapped inside the illusion.
He looked at the shop and finally his eyes locked on two justu.
