Chapter 294 - Chapter 294: Jin Tai Lang Arrives

After slicing a nearby Black Ghoul in half with his blade, Kuai Yangyang turned to Wu Dalang not far away and said with a smile,

"You never told us this person was so powerful?

His strength alone surpasses all of ours combined.

This time, we've truly encountered a great benefactor.

With his help, the issue of these Black Ghouls should be resolved quickly.

Why didn't you mention this earlier?

We could have sent animals to find him sooner.

And as for the Breathing Technique Inheritance you mentioned earlier, I have no objections. Once the Black Orb is destroyed and these Black Ghouls are eliminated, he can enter the Inheritance Hall."

Hearing Kuai Yangyang's words, Wu Dalang's face also broke into a smile.

With a powerful ally like Luo Feng, they had nothing left to worry about.

The tension they had felt earlier eased somewhat.

If Luo Feng hadn't arrived, these wolves and sheep wouldn't have been completely wiped out by the Black Ghouls, but their hopes of destroying the Black Orb would have been nearly impossible.

If the Black Orb remained intact, these Black Ghouls would continue pouring in endlessly.

No one knew just how many Black Ghouls would invade.

The consequences were too terrifying to imagine.

Thinking of this, Wu Dalang said, "When I met him, we only exchanged a few words before parting.

Who knew he'd be this strong?

If I had known his power back then, I wouldn't have gone after the Black Ghouls—I would've brought him straight here.

But it's not too late that he's arrived now.

Though, you old goat, you were the one who insisted the Inheritance Hall was the exclusive heritage of Verdant Grassland and that outsiders couldn't enter.

Your attitude sure changed fast."

Kuai Yangyang chuckled awkwardly. "Let's not bring that up—it wouldn't be good if he overheard.

We should focus on killing these Black Ghouls.

There are so many of them. If even a few Level 5 Black Ghouls escape, it'd be a disaster for the other animals.

Level 5 creatures aren't exactly common on Mist Island.

I really don't understand how the Black Mist Zone can have so many Level 5 Black Ghouls.

Are they planning to take over every region?"

Hearing this, Wu Dalang's expression darkened. He knew exactly how dangerous this situation was.

Previously rare Level 5 members of the Lecherous Ghost Clan had now appeared in numbers close to a hundred.

Just these Level 5 Black Ghouls alone were enough to slaughter most living creatures.

The Green Mist Zone was already like this.

Most of the animals and Green Fiends had been nearly wiped out by these Level 5 Black Ghouls.

That was why Luo Feng and the others hadn't encountered any animals or Green Fiends upon entering the Green Mist Zone.

Some of the faster animals hadn't been killed, but at the sight of these Black Ghouls, they had fled in terror.

These animals didn't need to be the fastest—just faster than the slowest among them.

But the fate of the Green Fiends in the Green Mist Zone had been far more tragic.

Originally, these Green Fiends were like fish in water within the Green Mist Zone.

Apart from a few animals who practiced breathing techniques, the other animals had virtually no means to deal with them.

That was until they encountered the Black Ghouls. Upon seeing them, the Green Fiends were utterly powerless to resist.

They could only be slaughtered at will by these Black Ghouls.

It could be said that these Black Ghouls were the natural nemeses of other Colored Ghouls, killing them as easily as flipping a hand.

Just as Wu Dalang was lost in these thoughts, momentarily distracted—

A Black Ghoul seized the opportunity and lunged for his head.

Right as the Black Ghoul was about to strike Wu Dalang—

Suddenly, a golden frying pan flew over from a distance.

The pan radiated a dazzling golden light, instantly severing the Black Ghoul's arm.

A voice rang out.

"Getting distracted in battle? Do you have a death wish?"

Hearing the voice, Wu Dalang's face lit up with joy. "Wife, what are you doing here? Weren't you guarding the Color Boundary?"

Jin Tai Lang waved her hand, and the golden frying pan flew back into her grasp.

With another swing, she smashed it into a nearby Black Ghoul.

She continued, "I heard things were dangerous here, so I came to check. The Color Boundary can hold for now—only the occasional Black Ghoul slips through. But when I got here, I was shocked. Why are there so many Level 5 Black Ghouls here? And why is there a human?"

Wu Dalang quickly explained, "We met this human earlier and asked for his help. He's incredibly strong. Our survival now depends on him. Right now, we need to focus on wiping out these Black Ghouls. We can't let even one escape—each one that gets away is a huge danger to other creatures."

Hearing this, Jin Tai Lang didn't press further. Now wasn't the time for chatter.

They had to eliminate these Black Ghouls as quickly as possible.

In the past, if animals like them had encountered so many Level 5 Black Ghouls, their only option would have been to flee.

After all, facing a coordinated assault from this many high-level Black Ghouls—

Their small group of animals wouldn't have stood a chance.

Before this, many animals had already died here in Wu Dalang's group's attempts to destroy the Black Orb.

Yet, even so, they hadn't backed down.

If they allowed the Black Orb to keep teleporting more Black Ghouls today—

It wouldn't be long before the entire Verdant Grassland became the domain of the Black Ghouls.

Without hesitation, the animals launched their assault on the surrounding Black Ghouls.

Wu Dalang, Jin Tai Lang, Dao Lang (Knife Wolf), Kuai Yangyang, and Huo Yang Yang (Fire Sheep)—

These five were the strongest among their kind.

Ordinary Black Ghouls couldn't last more than a few moves against them.

Meanwhile, Luo Feng was steadily advancing toward the Black Orb.

His entire body was wreathed in flames, and the Black Ghouls didn't even dare to attack him.

Instead, they stared at him in terror, retreating frantically.

Ordinary flames wouldn't have frightened them so much—

But this was a special kind of fire, one that forced them into a desperate retreat.

Luo Feng was currently under the least pressure among all these people.

All he had to do was continuously condense Fire Lotuses and send them flying in all directions.

Naturally, Luo Feng also noticed Jin Tai Lang's arrival.

However, he still didn't know her name for the time being.
