Although they were currently in a cooperative relationship, this was solely due to the invasion of the Black Ghouls.
Otherwise, wolves and sheep were natural enemies.
Wolves ate sheep.
However, thanks to the protection of the village chief, no wolf had ever managed to snatch a lamb from Sheep Village.
They could only prey on sheep outside the village.
Now, with the appearance of a powerful figure like Luo Feng,
both sides were eager to invite him to their respective homes.
This suddenly placed Luo Feng in a difficult position.
Wu Dalang and Kuai Yangyang both fixed their attention on him.
Hearing their words, Luo Feng found himself momentarily at a loss.
He had only heard of the Sheep Clan and Wolf Fort but had never visited either.
Would they be anything like what he remembered?
But judging by the changes in these animals, their dwellings were likely different as well.
Sheep Village or Wolf Fort?
Luo Feng didn't answer immediately, instead falling into deep thought.
Originally, he had planned to head straight to the Inheritance Hall, but their words made him reconsider.
The animals who had come to fight weren't limited to just these few—many others had joined the battle as well.
Most of them bore injuries.
Missing limbs and broken bones were common.
They could only receive temporary treatment here.
For deeper healing, proper equipment and medicine were needed.
After a moment of deliberation, Luo Feng finally made his decision. He turned to Wu Dalang and Kuai Yangyang and said,
"I've made up my mind. Let's go to Sheep Village first.
If there's time later, we can visit Wolf Fort."
His choice wasn't without reason.
He was deeply curious about some of the animals in Sheep Village.
Would there be the Mythical M Yangyang?
Given the current trends, it was likely—though the name would undoubtedly be different.
What it might be changed to, however, Luo Feng had no idea.
Upon hearing this, Wu Dalang's face fell with disappointment,
while Kuai Yangyang beamed with joy.
Kuai Yangyang exclaimed excitedly,
"Great! I've already sent word ahead. We can leave right away.
The sooner we return, the sooner we can begin treatment."
Noticing Wu Dalang's expression, Luo Feng thought for a moment and added,
"Why don't you all come with us to Sheep Village?
That way, we can discuss our next steps together.
It'll be more convenient."
Wu Dalang's expression shifted at Luo Feng's suggestion. He hadn't expected such an offer.
Naturally, he wouldn't refuse—but would Kuai Yangyang agree?
He glanced at Kuai Yangyang, then back at Luo Feng, and said,
"I have no objections to going to Sheep Village.
But this matter would require the approval of Sheep Village's chief, Kuai Yangyang.
We'd need his permission."
Kuai Yangyang frowned slightly at their words, feeling somewhat conflicted.
Previously, cooperation between the Sheep Clan and the Wolf Clan had only occurred outside the village, when they encountered Black Ghouls and fought them together.
At this current time, the Wolf Clan and the Sheep Clan were not allowed to attack each other.
However, they had no intention of letting the Wolf Clan enter Sheep Village.
In the past, whenever the Wolf Clan tried to enter Sheep Village, they had been driven back.
Could it be that today, they would allow the Wolf Clan to enter Sheep Village?
Most of the sheep in Sheep Village had little to no combat ability.
Kuai Yangyang noticed everyone looking at him. After a moment of contemplation, he exhaled deeply and said,
"Let's go. You can all follow us into Sheep Village.
Right now, our Verdant Grassland—even the entire Green Mist Zone—is facing such a great danger.
We must work together to overcome this crisis."
After some thought, Kuai Yangyang ultimately decided to permit the Wolf Clan's entry. After all, with Luo Feng—a powerful expert—present, there shouldn't be any real danger.
Since Kuai Yangyang had spoken, the group no longer delayed and quickly made their way toward Sheep Village.
The once peaceful and beautiful Verdant Grassland was now stained with blood across its green blades due to the appearance of the Black Ghouls—a sight that was deeply unsettling.
Because they had to tend to the wounded, Luo Feng and the others did not move particularly fast.
Luo Feng had already stored Black Tortoise in his space ring and walked alongside the group.
Taking advantage of their journey, Luo Feng struck up a conversation to learn more about their current situation.
He turned to Wu Dalang and said, "Could you introduce these animals to me?
I don't know how to address you all yet.
You can call me Shura."
Luo Feng had previously used "Shura" as his alias and had continued to do so. Whenever introducing himself to others, he went by this name.
Almost no one knew his real name.
As Luo Feng finished speaking, the surrounding animals silently committed his name to memory.
Wu Dalang, hearing this, wore an apologetic expression.
"Ah, I was so caught up in the fight earlier that I completely forgot about introductions. My apologies.
Let me introduce the animals here to you.
I'll start with the Wolf Clan.
I've already told you about myself, so I won't repeat it.
This is my wife, Jin Tai Lang—Level 5, practitioner of the Gold Breathing Technique.
The wolf who was using the blade earlier is my brother, Dao Lang—Level 5, practitioner of the Blade Breathing Technique.
He and Huo Yang Yang are currently chasing down the remaining Black Ghouls.
Huo Yang Yang—Level 5, practitioner of the Fire Breathing Technique.
And finally, the current village chief of Sheep Village, Kuai Yangyang—Level 5, practitioner of the Wind Breathing Technique.
There are some other animals too, but I'll introduce them to you once we meet.
If there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask me or Kuai Yangyang.
If we know the answer, we'll definitely tell you."
After Wu Dalang finished introducing the animals, Luo Feng's emotions were… complicated, to say the least.
Just as he had suspected, Wu Dalang's wife was named Jin Tai Lang.
And the wolf who used a blade was actually called Dao Lang (Knife Wolf).
I wonder if that Dao Lang knows how to sing?
It seemed the creatures of this Verdant Grassland were in a completely altered state.
Luo Feng couldn't help but suspect whether this Ocean Survival Game had failed to obtain the copyright for some banned film.
Not a single animal he recognized had appeared.
Logically speaking, since they'd already come to another world, copyright issues shouldn't exist here, right?
However, Luo Feng didn't dwell on this question for too long.
