Chapter 304 - Chapter 304: Colors

Although the doors of the Inheritance Hall had already opened, Luo Feng, standing outside, couldn't see what was inside at all.

It was as if something was blocking the view from the outside.

Luo Feng focused his mind, raised his right leg, and stepped through the doors of the Inheritance Hall.

Once inside, his vision began to change.

It was a white room.

The space was enormous—far larger than the Fiend Extinction Mountain he had seen from the outside.

The room was filled with various animal props and environmental setups.

This must be the first floor of the Inheritance Hall.

Luo Feng only glanced briefly before shifting his gaze forward.

He had no intention of comprehending any Inheritance here.

From his conversation with Kuai Yangyang, he knew that once someone obtained an Inheritance in the Inheritance Hall, they would be teleported out immediately.

Anything he touched inside the hall could be the key to obtaining an Inheritance.

Therefore, he couldn't recklessly interact with things—he had to find what suited him before attempting anything.

With swift steps, Luo Feng ignored his surroundings and strode forward.

A few minutes later, a red door appeared in his line of sight.

His eyes brightened—finally, the entrance to the next level.

Without hesitation, Luo Feng approached the red door, pushed it open, and stepped into a crimson space.

Just like before, he didn't linger and immediately pressed onward.

An orange door appeared before him.

Open. Enter.

Twenty minutes later, Luo Feng pushed open the final black door.

Like the previous doors, it opened effortlessly.

All eight doors along the way had been as easy to open as the front door of his own home.

There was none of the difficulty Kuai Yangyang had mentioned.

He didn't know whether this was due to Kuai Yangyang and the others casting spells outside or because of his own abilities.

But now wasn't the time to dwell on it. Since the black door was open, he wasted no time and stepped inside.

Instantly, his vision plunged into complete darkness.

This was an utterly pitch-black space.

So dark he couldn't even see his own hand in front of him.

Obtaining an Inheritance here would be no easy feat.

Others who entered might have to rely on luck to find one.

This black space was peculiar—even when Luo Feng conjured flames to light his way, they had no effect.

It was as if all light sources had been completely blocked within this space.

The flames blazed wildly in his palm, yet he still couldn't see a thing.

But this didn't stump Luo Feng. He activated his Clairvoyance Charm.

As the charm took effect, his vision began to shift.

The impenetrable darkness gradually receded, allowing him to perceive his surroundings.

However, the Black Mist didn't fully dissipate.

His sight remained somewhat obscured.

Back in the Mist, when he had used the Clairvoyance Charm, his vision had returned to normal—as if the Mist had vanished entirely.

This wasn't the case now. The black space here wasn't the Black Mist, which somewhat affected the function of the Clairvoyance Charm.

Fortunately, the Clairvoyance Charm was, after all, a Legendary-grade item, so its capabilities remained formidable.

Once Luo Feng could see his surroundings clearly, he began to observe carefully.

Floating in the surrounding black space were various objects.

Black clouds, black birds.

Black flowers, black grass.

A black rod.

All of these entered Luo Feng's field of vision.

He began examining these items, pondering which one would be most suitable for him.

Someone might ask—couldn't Luo Feng simply use his Dimensional Storage to take everything away?

Luo Feng could only say: you're still too naive.

He had already considered this idea long ago.

The moment he stepped into the Inheritance Hall, he had already tried it.

Unfortunately, none of these items could be stored in his space ring.

A space ring could only collect ownerless objects.

If these artifacts had energy connections to other beings, they couldn't be forcibly taken.

When Luo Feng realized this, he was somewhat disappointed.

But now that he had reached the Black Mist Zone, he could at least choose an Inheritance for himself.

What kind of Breathing technique would he obtain?

Luo Feng began thinking about what kind of artifact he needed. The items obtained here had a high chance of being taken out of the Inheritance Hall.

Wu Dalang and Kuai Yangyang's Fiend Slayer Blades had been brought out from the Inheritance Hall in this way.

Luo Feng already had plenty of offensive weapons, so he didn't seem to need more.

His gaze shifted away from the extremely thick black rod.

He already had artifacts like that.

Next, Luo Feng turned his attention to a black disc.

This item looked like a defensive artifact—he wondered if his guess was correct.

However, he didn't immediately reach out to touch the black disc, instead continuing to observe his surroundings.

Now that he was here, he wasn't in as much of a hurry as before.

Since he had come all this way, he had to choose carefully.

As he walked, Luo Feng examined the surrounding objects.

At this point, he was deeply curious about the origins of the Inheritance Hall. Who had built this place?

Why was it placed here?

Surely it wasn't just for killing members of the Lecherous Ghost Clan?

Just as Luo Feng was lost in thought, suddenly, a flash of colored light streaked across his vision.

This startled him.

He even wondered if he had imagined it—was it just a hallucination?

Everything here was pitch black—how could there be color?

But even if his eyes were playing tricks on him, he shouldn't be seeing colors.

With Luo Feng's current strength, how could his vision possibly fail him?

The flames around his body instantly flared up.

He was now on full alert.

Wu Dalang and Kuai Yangyang hadn't mentioned anything like this.

They had never reached the ninth floor—if there was any danger here, things could get troublesome.

Luo Feng, now at full power, slowly moved toward the spot where he had seen the colored light.

One thing puzzled him—logically, if there was something colored, it should remain visible.

Why had it only flashed once?

And the time was so brief.

Just like that, Luo Feng, filled with intense curiosity, approached the spot where the colors had appeared.

As he was getting closer, suddenly, the colors flashed by once again
