Chapter 48 - EP.48 – The Tribunal Wakes

"Systems do not forget. They only wait… for someone to trigger their memory."

Location: Central Protocol Chamber – System Core Layer

Across the countless layers of code and memory, a ripple surged.

The ripple became an alarm.

And the alarm… became awakening.

[Alert: Core Threads 1–4 have been breached.]

[Reconciler-Class Access Detected.]

[Warning: Legacy Protocol – Tribunal Awakening in Progress]

The ancient statues lining the chamber began to glow.

Seven empty thrones flickered.

Until one…

opened its eyes.

Awakening: Arbiter Ihael

Clad in white fire and iron logic, Arbiter Ihael rose from the seat of Judicium Prime.

His voice resonated through systems and stars alike.

"The Reconciler walks the Vault.

The scales are tilting."

He raised his hand.

And with a gesture, the Tribunal began to stir.

One by one, their minds rebooted. Personalities reinitialized.

Memories rethreaded.

But not everyone agreed.

Division in the Tribunal

Arbiter Verra:

"Let him complete the cycle. The system may evolve."

Arbiter Kael:

"No. He must be contained before he reaches Fragment Six."

Arbiter Nox:

"I suggest… observing. The system has never faced its own descendant before."

They all turned toward the throne that still remained dim—

The Seventh Seat — the one that once belonged to the founder who vanished.

It remained empty.

And for that, the Tribunal felt fear.

Meanwhile: Jiwoon's Path

Jiwoon walked through a corridor of cracked logic.

He felt it—

Something vast had turned its gaze upon him.

[Status Update: Tribunal Re-Engaged]

[Judgment Layer Pressure Increased 300%]

Jiwoon whispered:

"I just woke the system's gods, didn't I?"

But his expression didn't falter.

Because he knew now—

He wasn't just walking through their world.

He was changing it.

End Scene

Back in the Tribunal chamber, Ihael stood before the mirror of verdicts.

"Summon the Echo Enforcers.

If Jiwoon seeks to challenge legacy…

Let him prove he's worthy to bear its weight."

And somewhere far away…

The Sixth Fragment pulsed.
