#1 - Albedo Neverwinter - Protagonist
Appearance - He has platinum blonde hair and blue eyes. He was tall, at 6'3 currently with a lean physique but with noticeable muscles.
Background - He had died depressed and alone and reincarnated into the world of a Novel he read. When he was 6, his parents were killed by Abyssal Worshippers, leaving only him and his sister, Gwendolyn. He has a System that helps him grow stronger, and his primary goal is to defeat the Abyss and protect his family, while enjoying this new life.
Gift - Echo of Death: An empty Gift slot, he gains no Gift at first. But he can permanently absorb the Gift of one person he kills. Additionally, for a short duration once someone dies next to Albedo, he can draw their Soul Power to heal himself.
#2 - Gwendolyn Neverwinter - Albedo's Little Sister!
Appearance - She inherited her father's silver hair and her mother's emerald eyes. She is only 10 at the current moment in the story, so she still looks just young and cute in a little sister way.
Background - She is Albedo's little sister. She was only a baby when their parents were killed by Abyssal Worshippers. She knows Albedo's goals and tries her best to be a good sister for him.

#3 - Elara Vance - A close friend Albedo met at the Academy Entrance Examination!
Appearance - Elara is beautiful with long dark auburn hair and forest green eyes. She was rather tall for a lady, but had a nice build due to her family training and noticeable boobs.
Background - A Commoner, but her family runs a Potion shop in Pantheon. Her father got sick and died, leaving only her, her mother and little brother. She wants to become a famous Alchemist and fulfill her father's dream.
Gift - Battle Map: Creates a map of the surrounding terrain in her mind, showing her things such as Mana Signatures, traps, ally positions and more.
#4 - Lucian Arclight: The Original Protagonist!
Appearance - Lucian had short black hair and green eyes with an athletic and toned physique.
Background - Lucian was raised by a single mother, who was killd by Abyssal Worshippers. Thankfully before his death, he was saved by the Academy Headmistress, becoming her secret disciple. His goal is to defeat the Abyss once and for all.
Gift - Transcendence: Improves the speed of his training the more he engages in combat. The more he battles, the faster he ranks up. It also negates all damage to his foundation that could come from ranking up too quickly, and has other benefits such as improving the combat power at every rank. Even by the time the Novel finished, Lucian was still finding new bonuses to his gift, and this was over 1,000 chapters in, showing how OP it was.
#5 - Miranda Starwind: The Original Heroine
Appearance - Miranda has silver hair cascading down her shoulders, eyes like blue stars. She had a graceful yet slender build as well.
Background - First Princess of the Human Empire, the Original Heroine of the Novel and Lucian's future wife. The Reincarnation of a God Realm Being.
Gift - Eternity: Grants Miranda a deep understanding and mastery over the forces of Space & Time. She is able to bend distances and summon celestial energy born from the stars. The scope of these abilities depend on her Rank.
She is able to see up to 10 seconds in the future at the Bronze rank, and it improves as she ranks up. Her perception of time is also unique, and she can read high-speed combat as if it is happening in slow motion.
She can temporarily 'remember' her body's state from a few seconds prior. If fatally wounded, she can instinctively rewind her physical form by 3–5 seconds to undo the damage ( limited to once per day, scales with mana pool ).
Ultimate Form – "Eclipsed Form" ( Only awakens much later in the Novel )
Miranda becomes a living constellation, her body shimmering like the night sky. She gains perfect reaction time, the ability to layer multiple Celestial Folds, and slow time around a single target drastically. In this state, her attacks seem to come from all directions at once, as she can fracture her movements across split seconds and alternate spatial mirrors.
#6 - William Frost: The Original Villain of the Novel's Academy Arc
Appearance: He had brown hair, blue eyes and a firm physique.
Background: Son of Duke Frost. Cocky & Arrogant due to being pampered. Believes in Noble Superiority and is the Original Villain of the Novel.
Gift - Perfectionist: The Gift essentially made William as perfect as can be. Unlike others, when William uses mana, none of the mana is ever wasted, making him the most perfect combatant. The Gift also assists in training, as it works in a way of perfecting William's use of all of the techniques & skills he employs. It rapidly improves both his training efficiency and his combat efficiency.
The biggest boost of the Gift was its active state
#7 - Morgana Blackstone: Heiress to the Blackstone Corporation, the Richest Company in the World
Appearance: A beautiful girl with jet-black hair, obsidian eyes and slender figure.
Background: Daughter of the Richest Business in the World, isolated as she was an only child and never made friends. A Master of Dark Magic like Blood and Shadow Magic and one of the deadliest freshmen.
Gift - 'Dark Wonderland': Gift perfect for Morgana's talents in Dark Magic. First of all, it's basic effect was increasing the power and Morgana's control of all Dark Magic spells or techniques by 3x.
She can also take control of any target whose blood she has touched or spilled, turning them into unwillingly puppets for a duration depending on her mana and how much of their blood she has, and their relative ranks. The Gift also allows her to absorb enemy blood to heal, travel through darkness, and buffs her power in Dark Environments.
#8 - Zeus Duskbane - Friendly Rival with Lucian in the Novel
Appearance - Spiky Red hair and Golden Eyes. His physique is extremely buffed and he has a rugged look.
Background - Son of Duke Duskbane, a War Hero against the Abyss. Boisterous and Combat Hungry personality. He become a Friendly Rival to Lucian in the Novel as they pushed each-other to be stronger.
Gift: War God's Power – A Gift that honed Zeus' instincts to a battle deity. It passively increased his Physical strength with every rank up, and massively increased his strength when activated. He doesn't feel any pain in the activate State, and his resistances to elements increased. At the end of the Novel, he was near immune to elements when he activated that state.
#9 - Lira Voss - The Daughter of Count Voss
Appearance - Red hair and red eyes. A curvy alluring figure.
Background - Daughter of a Count, she eventually gains the title of 'Queen of Beasts' later in the Novel due to her Beast Taming skills. Is a very valuable ally to the protagonist and his group throughout the Novel.
Gift - Beast Empress: While every rank only gives a regular person 1 opportunity to contract a Beast, this gift gives 3. She also has maximum affinity with all kinds of Beasts, and instinctively knows how to effectively raise them. She also gains extra power for every beast she contracts, and every time a beast ranks up.
#10 - Kayle Belair
Appearance: She was tall, around 6'3 and graceful with white gold hair and piercing gold eyes.
Background - The Daughter of the Duke Belair Family. Youngest Star Ranked ever at 21. She was a key player in the Novel, and a master at Light Magic. They say she wields light so precisely she can sever someone's will before their mana even reacts. She wields the artifact 'The Radiant Sigil', one of the 12 Imperial Relics and was nicknamed Sun Goddess in the future.

#11 - Raphaeline Cortezia - Princess of the Demon Royal Family.
Appearance - As a Royal Succubus, Raphaeline is the definition of absolute sexiness. She was 6'6, with pale white skin and luscious violet hair, striking red eyes and coral lips. She had the perfect body, rather slender, but with a noticeable rack on her chest, and a voluptuous butt.
However, the most noticeable part about her was her Black Horns growing out of her head. The horns were polished and elegant, curved slightly backwards, and growing out of her back were two angelic black wings, with pitch black feathers that seemed to be like manifested night.
Background - Demon Princess, and the Headmistress of Zephyr Academy. Insurmountably powerful, and the Secret Master of Lucian.

#12 - Dorian Lewis - Heir to Marquis Lewis
Appearance - He was of average height, yet he was very handsome, with tousled blond hair and green eyes.
Background - He was the classic rich best friend, the lazy perverted playboy heir to the Marquis Lewis Family, who would eventually become a powerful, hard worker after befriending Lucian, but still maintaining some of his perverted ways.
#13 - Veronica Silverstone - Daughter of the Chrono Guildmaster.
Appearance - She was a girl with sharp features, platinum hair and blue eyes.
Background - The Daughter to the Chrono Guild Master. She wields Gravity Magic, and eventually Time Magic in the Future. Is a master tactician, and battlefield control specialist, growing up to be the tactical leader of Lucian's group.
#14 - Luna Evervale - Moon Touched Tamer
Appearance - Luna was an absolutely beautiful Elf. She was tall, with flawless skin and angular cheekbones. Her emerald hair shimmered like living ivy and she had silver eyes. She wore silver rings on her ears, and a long cloak that fluttered.
Background - Luna is a Professor at the Academy and is from the Elven House Evervale, one of the most influential Elven Houses, close to the Elven Royal Family. However, she was very mysterious in the Novel, not much is currently known about her or her motivations for become a Professor, aside from her love for Beast Taming.
#15 - Duchess Seraphyne Bloodvale
Appearance - Seraphyne is a tall, dark elegant beauty with an ethereal charm. She has a voluptuous figure, long flowing black hair that cascades down to her shoulders, framing her perfectly angular face. She has crimson eyes and lips painted blood red.
Background - A Noble Vampire born long ago to an extremely influential Vampire family alongside her Twin Sister, Selantra. Seraphyne had been extremely talented, quickly mastering all of her families spells and techniques, her rank improving rapidly.
However, despite being twins, her sister Selantra was not as talented as she was, but Seraphyne loved her all the same. Unfortunately for her, their family didn't see it the same way, trying to ship Selantra off into an arranged marriage with the Vampire King at the time.
No-one knows what happened after, but when the dust settled, the Vampire King, his entire family, and the entire Bloodvale House had all gone extinct, with Seraphyne being the sole survivor.
After that incident, Seraphyne roamed the world like a living calamity, brutally killing anyone who got on her nerve. Not even Dragons were spared and she quickly gained the titles such as 'The Bloody Requiem' and 'The Scarlet Calamity'.
Seraphyne was unsealed by Albedo and became his servant, promising to protect his little sister Gwendolyne. Seraphyne speaks in a French English style, and is quite a playful person despite her Holy Rank Strength!
#16 - Lilian BloodHaven - Heiress to the BloodHaven Grand Duke Family!
Appearance - Lilian is average height, with crimson eyes, obsidian black hair cascading down her back like liquid ink, sharp fangs peeking from her lips, pale moonlight skin.
#17 - Celeste Nocturna- 3rd Demon Princess and the most talented daughter of the Demon Royal Family
Appearance - Celeste is around Albedo's height, with dark purple skin marked with a variety of tribal tattoos, curved horns that peeked from her silver hair, and a spaded tail flicking lazily behind her. Her eyes were amber-gold and glinted with wild curiosity.
Paired Background - Albedo met Celeste and Lilian during his trip to the Demon Kingdom, defeating them in a battle. The two of them are the bestest of friends and battle hungry. They appeared in the original Novel in minor roles much later. Lilian is much more outgoing, friendly and playful while Celeste is more serious.
#18 - Diona Vale - Lucian's Childhood Friend & Future Saintess
Appearance - Diona is a beautiful young girl with soft features, honey brown hair tied into a braid and large gentle eyes the color of warm chestnut. Her body is lithe.
Background - The Childhood Friend of Lucian. Diona is 1 year younger than Lucian, and thus not awakened as of yet. In the Novel, she'd later be known as The Saintess of Light. Her awakening had caused a massive Divine phenomena across the world revealing her fate as the Saintess, and she had quickly gone from just a childhood friend, to one of Lucian's most important and influential allies. For her protection, she is currently living alongside Albedo and Gwen.
