The days that followed settled into a quiet rhythm, the kind that only came after catastrophe, measured, careful, and almost reverent in its restraint.

Lilian recovered very quickly, through the steady, resilient strength of her own Pureblood lineage now that it was no longer being siphoned or fractured.

By the second day, she was able to walk the infirmary corridors without assistance. By the third, her blood-mana had fully stabilized into its natural, powerful flow, dense, controlled, and unmistakably hers, and she could cast all her regular spells once again.

Albedo remained close the entire time.

He didn't hover, but he never strayed far. Sometimes he sat with her while she rested, sometimes he walked the grounds outside the estate to coax his mana back into full circulation, letting it refill naturally the way Elara had advised.
