Chapter 141 - Chapter 141: The Move

Kazuo Uchiha was killed on the spot by Chinya.

Everyone stood in shock, staring at Kazuo Uchiha's body on the ground and Chinya standing behind it.

The other ninja were completely stunned.

Especially Wada Nara, who was utterly dazed.

He had anticipated Chinya might use Kazuo to assert authority—perhaps by overpowering him into submission.

But what he never expected was for Chinya to kill Kazuo outright.

And to make it even more shocking—he did it right in front of so many Uchiha ninja.

This went far beyond just showing dominance.

Fugaku Uchiha's eyes burned with fury as he glared at Chinya, his voice cracking from intense emotion. "Chinya! Why?! Even if Kazuo made a mistake, you didn't have to kill him!"

Chinya acted as if he had done something trivial, casually sitting down atop Kazuo Uchiha's corpse with a smile on his face.

That very smile sent chills down the spines of the watching ninja.

One by one, the Uchiha ninja glared at Chinya with clenched teeth, their eyes filled with murderous rage.

Chinya spoke calmly. "I already said—As your commander, my words are ironclad rules. None of you have the right to question me. Kazuo not only doubted my orders but openly attempted to defy them. So I killed him. Got a problem with that?"

Fugaku exploded in fury. "Of course there's a problem! I was trying to talk him around—I could've convinced him! But you just went ahead and killed him! How is that acceptable?!"

Chinya shook his head and looked at Fugaku with cold indifference. "I asked him twice whether he'd obey. But he insisted on doing things his own way… And clearly, he wasn't listening to *you* either.

My time is precious. Giving him two chances was already more than he deserved. He didn't take them, so he died—who else can he blame?

This is wartime. My commands are supreme. I have the authority to deal with those who make mistakes.

So…Fugaku Uchiha, do you still want to say anything?"

Before Fugaku could answer, one Uchiha ninja shouted angrily, "You're just using us to vent your anger!"

Once the first voice broke, others followed.

"That's right! You're sending us off to die and killed Kazuo for opposing you. What kind of commander are you?!"

"Exactly! We don't recognize you as our leader!"

"We will never follow your orders!"

A chorus of furious abuse erupted from the Uchiha ninja, all directed at Chinya.

...

Wada Nara's expression darkened.

Just as he'd expected, the Uchiha were starting to rebel.

The Uchiha clan was too proud to ever submit without resistance.

At this rate, before they even dealt with the Mist ninja in the Land of Waves, internal conflict would tear them apart first.

Yet within Chinya's mind, there was complete calm.

It was like the Uchiha ninja's shouts weren't even reaching him.

Chinya's gaze turned toward Fugaku Uchiha—who was also staring straight back at him.

Uchiha Fugaku's gaze turned icy. With so many Uchiha ninja resisting Chinya, he couldn't believe the young man would still insist on pushing forward.

Suddenly, Chinya smiled toward Uchiha Fugaku.

A chill ran down Fugaku's spine.

Chinya rose from Uchiha Kazuo's corpse, his Mangekyo Sharingan already activated. His cold, emotionless gaze swept over the Uchiha ninja who were hurling curses at him.

Under the oppressive pressure of Chinya's Mangekyo Sharingan, those curses gradually faded into silence.

Chinya declared coldly, "This is your last chance. Will you obey my orders or not?"

All the Uchiha ninja fell silent.

Chinya placed his hand on his ninja sword once again. "I have no use for disobedient ninja. Those who defy orders are nothing but useless trash holding us back…"

Fugaku stared at Chinya in disbelief as a terrible suspicion surfaced in his mind.

"Don't!" Fugaku roared desperately.

But Chinya had already moved. In one swift motion, he pierced a Uchiha's throat with his ninja sword.

"You were the first one to talk back earlier, weren't you? Guess that makes you first on the list."

Fugaku rushed forward, trying to stop Chinya.

However, Chinya moved far too fast. Four Uchiha ninja lay dead before anyone could react.

The other ninja trembled visibly, watching the horrifying scene unfold.

So Chinya really dared massacre them all here!

Wada Nara felt like his brain was about to explode.

That son of a bitch Chinya actually had the guts to go through with it!

Fugaku wanted to stop Chinya but found himself powerless to do so.

The remaining Uchiha panicked and tried to resist Chinya's onslaught, yet they couldn't even track his movements.

Chinya's speed was simply overwhelming.

Just as the situation seemed completely out of control, three desperate cries rang out:

"Lord Chinya, we will obey your commands!"

"Please stop killing! We were wrong! We were wrong!"

"We beg your forgiveness, please stop killing! Have mercy!"

These voices belonged to Kyousuke, Keiichi, and Ryuuhei Uchiha—the three who had previously followed Chinya.

Kyousuke, Keiichi, and Ryuuhei Uchiha knelt on the ground, bowing their heads low and pleading desperately with Chinya.

Deep down, they'd wanted to surrender the moment Chinya killed Kazuo Uchiha.

But if they did so then, the Uchiha clansmen would surely accuse them—label them cowards.

Because they had already experienced this kind of treatment before.

When returning to Konoha from the Land of Hot Water, these three had been met only with cold stares and condemnation.

They were blamed by the Uchiha clansmen for surrendering to Chinya.

Now, witnessing their clansmen being slaughtered before their eyes, they finally couldn't hold themselves back any longer.

From experience during those years traveling together with Chinya, they knew—he was fully capable of killing every last doubter among them.

Standing within the crowd, Chinya's lips curled into a faint smirk.

At last, it had come.

He'd been waiting—for someone to give him a dignified way out.

That pathway either came through Uchiha Fugaku, or through the trio—Kyousuke, Keiichi, and Ryuuhei—who once served under him.

Without such justification, Chinya wouldn't have been able to eliminate all these Uchiha ninja.

Chinya would have held himself back.

He had only killed one Chunin, and the rest were all Genin.

If he eliminated too many, he'd also face trouble.

After all, the Uchiha Clan is still Konoha's primary military force in external conflicts. If they united and confronted Hiruzen Sarutobi, knowing his nature, he would surely compromise.

Therefore, Chinya set a limit—no more than ten Uchiha ninja.

Except for Kazuo, a Jonin, no other Jonin should be targeted.

This number was acceptable—just a few Chunin and Genin. Danzo could manage that level of pressure on his behalf.
