Chinya, Naruto Uzumaki, Uzumaki Miyuki, and the Yang Nine-Tails met the Yin Nine-Tails within Uzumaki Miyuki's body.
The Yin Nine-Tails instantly enraged the Yang Nine-Tails by saying, "You want to be a human pet? I'm definitely not interested in that."
The Nine-Tails roared angrily, "What nonsense are you spouting! Who became anyone's pet!"
The Yin Nine-Tails sneered, "Coming here with your three masters isn't being a pet? Really?"
The Nine-Tails snorted white vapor from its nostrils in fury. Unable to swallow this insult, it charged straight at the Yin Nine-Tails, wanting to teach it a lesson.
However, Naruto's Nine-Tails was just a small stream of chakra and was immediately swatted away with one slap by the Yin Nine-Tails.
Naruto had already been stunned into disbelief.
"Uh... Mom, Uncle Chinya, aren't they supposed to be one and the same? Insulting themselves? Fighting each other?"
It wasn't just Naruto standing there wide-eyed—Chinya and Uzumaki Miyuki also had their mouths twitching.
Chinya sighed helplessly. It seemed the idea of having Naruto's Nine-Tails persuade Miyuki's Nine-Tails had already collapsed.
Chinya explained to Naruto, "They may look like one being, but they think separately. You could think of them as Shadow Clones—each has its own mind."
After hearing Chinya's explanation, Naruto understood.
The Yin Nine-Tails gave Chinya a lifeless stare, similar to Kakashi's dead-fish eyes, saying, "I've told you countless times, I absolutely won't help you people. Do whatever you want to me, but do you expect me to become as shameless as it is, willingly becoming your pet? I'd be totally humiliated!"
Helplessly, Chinya replied, "Look, I've already told you about Naruto. Miyuki is his mother, so helping her means helping him too, right? This was something someone like your father wanted all of you Tailed Beasts to do."
Looking at Naruto briefly, the Yin Nine-Tails sneered, "Since when did I say I wanted to help that brat? And since when did I have to follow every word that old man said? What happens out there doesn't concern me at all. Whatever happens, happens—it's none of my business."
Frowning as he observed the Yin Nine-Tails, Chinya remarked, "Your personality is truly opposite from the Yang Nine-Tails'. So you must be the Nine-Tails' dark side then?"
The Yin Nine-Tails remained silent, so Chinya continued, "Other people's 'dark sides' usually consist of anger or hatred, but yours is just chilling out doing nothing—that's pretty unique. Hey, don't you have any other desires? Like something you specifically want to do?"
The Yin Nine-Tails spoke aggressively, "None. It's pretty comfortable here, so stop disturbing me! Go away quickly!"
The Nine-Tails within Naruto nearly burst with rage, "You coward! You're not even part of me! I don't have a useless, surrendered half like you!"
Mockingly, the Yin Nine-Tails retorted, "And I don't have a half like you who becomes a pet for humans either. How disgraceful! No sense of shame at all! When meeting other Tailed Beasts outside, don't ever mention me—I'd be totally humiliated!"
Enraged beyond words, Naruto's Nine-Tails turned to Chinya, "Hey! Give me more chakra! Just wait—today I'll definitely give it a proper beating!"
"Alright then, since you came to talk things out instead of fighting. What's the point of fighting yourself? Let's just leave it at that."
With a snap of his fingers, Chinya exited the mental space.
Naruto Uzumaki's Nine-Tails chakra returned into his body.
Naruto Uzumaki and Miyuki Uzumaki also regained consciousness.
Sōnagi Uzumaki curiously asked, "How did it go? Did they manage to convince them?"
Naruto sighed. "Nope. They almost ended up fighting each other."
"Huh?"
Sōnagi and the former Naruto had the same thought.
Aren't the Yang Nine-Tails and Yin Nine-Tails part of the same being? How could they even fight themselves?
Chinya rubbed his chin and said, "Maybe we've already found a method..."
Everyone turned their gaze toward Chinya at once.
Chinya looked at Miyuki Uzumaki and said, "But it'll require Miyuki to make some sacrifices. The Yin Nine-Tails is completely stubborn and hates any disturbance. So Miyuki, you need to become a chatterbox—talk to it several times a day until it can't stand you anymore."
Miyuki Uzumaki was taken aback when she heard Chinya telling her to be a chatterbox, and hesitated. "Huh? A chatterbox? I'm not really much of a talker. What should I even say?"
Chinya sinisterly replied, "Like what you did today—your thoughts, your daily activities. Just chat casually with it. After all, it can't leave your body anyway, and you don't have to worry about it revealing your secrets. If it really makes you uncomfortable talking like that, take a book and read it aloud in front of it. Keep irritating it, never giving it a moment's peace.
Keep doing this until the day it agrees to lend you its power. Only then will you stop. Otherwise, not a single day off!"
Miyuki's expression suddenly became very strange.
Chinya grinned and guessed, "The Yin Nine-Tails inside you must be cursing me right now, isn't it?"
Miyuki awkwardly nodded. "Well... saying some pretty harsh things too. It claims it'd rather die than ever submit."
Yet Chinya's smile only grew wider. "Great! The harsher it curses, the more it resists being disturbed. Miyuki, you've got to follow through on this."
Miyuki nodded. "Okay, I understand."
Miyuki had already begun thinking about what she would talk about with the Yin Nine-Tails inside her every day.
She definitely wouldn't willingly share anything personal—because it just felt awkward.
Kakashi stood up and said, "Alright, since Naruto's staying in Konoha for now, maybe we should head back and regroup with them."
Both Naruto Uzumaki and Miyuki Uzumaki felt a slight tremble in their bodies.
Even though they were mentally prepared to separate again, facing the actual parting still brought strong feelings of reluctance.
Naruto forced a grin and said goodbye to Miyuki. "Mom, see you later. Please take care of yourself."
Miyuki gently hugged Naruto and reminded him, "Yes, you too, Naruto. Be careful with everything, alright?"
Naruto firmly nodded. "I know. I'll definitely be careful."
Chinya pulled out a ring and tossed it to Naruto Uzumaki: "This ring can directly establish a connection with the ones we already have. So if you miss Miyuki, you can use this ring to contact her and have a chat."
Naruto stared at the ring in his hand in delight and thanked him: "Thank you, Uncle Chinya!"
Uzumaki Sōnagi teased him: "Hey, Naruto, don't just chat with Aunt Miyuki all the time—I'm waiting for your call too!"
Naruto laughed and agreed: "Of course not! We're best friends after all. How could I seriously not keep in touch with you?"
After saying goodbye to everyone, Naruto left with Kakashi toward Tazuna's house to rejoin Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.
Meanwhile, Chinya's group also began their journey back to Otogakure.
