Chapter 59
Inside One of the Planes
The plane's door slowly began to open, revealing a blond man, his hair and thick beard showing signs of graying. He was holding binoculars, surveying the battlefield, accompanied by two others, younger than him. They were the Captains of Arcadia: Raizo, Leo, and Maria.
Captain Raizo lowered the binoculars from his eyes as a soldier moved forward to take them from him. Then Raizo spoke calmly and confidently:
"Are you all ready?"
Maria looked at the battlefield in awe, seeing the rising black smoke, then said:
"Oh my God! Are we late?!"
Between them, the third captain, Leo, spoke in a gloomy voice, slightly arching his back:
"How unfortunate! I wish I could die in one of the battles at least!"
Maria sighed and said:
"You haven't changed the way you speak since Raizo brought you from that cursed place, Kaisima!"
Leo remained silent, his back still arched, before his black hair began to turn white, as if it were a moving liquid. Out of nowhere, a terrifying black mask formed on his face.
In the middle, golden lightning sparks began to dance around Raizo's body, and his eyes turned a glowing golden color. He spoke in a calm yet confident tone:
"Let's begin, guys!"
Suddenly, without warning, all three of them jumped out of the plane, heading directly to the heart of the battle.
---
In the air, as they rapidly descended toward the ground, their military uniforms fluttered under the force of the raging winds. Suddenly, blue sparks erupted like a storm around Leo's body, enveloping him entirely before he launched at the speed of light, leaving behind a trail of glowing electricity. Meanwhile, Raizo and Maria continued their descent until Maria slowly raised her arms, as if preparing to take flight. Her skin gradually changed to a pinkish hue, and in a fleeting moment, her arms extended and transformed into massive wings. She then shot forward at an incredible speed toward the enemy.
---
Raizo, however, remained calm as he fell, his expression unfazed by the storm around him. He muttered with confidence and composure:
"Onoko... Borna!"
Out of nowhere, the voice of Phantom Borna echoed, reverberating as if emerging from the depths of another world:
"My dear Raizo?!"
Raizo replied with his usual cold tone:
"Come out!"
Phantom Borna responded with quiet determination:
"NOW!"
In an instant, golden lightning sparks erupted around Raizo's body, dancing in the air like an angry storm. From his back, the colossal phantom Onoko emerged, its radiant golden skin glowing under the flashes of lightning, and its sharp fangs reflecting the shimmering light. It stood beside Raizo, its massive frame dominating the sky as it hovered, allowing Raizo to stand firmly upon its back. The winds continued to howl, making Raizo's clothes and hair flutter as he stood atop Onoko with unshakable confidence, surrounded by a golden aura of crackling lightning.
Suddenly, Onoko burst forward at the speed of light, its body slicing through the air like a blazing meteor, while the soldiers, Marshal Chris, Samuel, and Emre watched in awe and disbelief. A faint smile formed on Marshal Chris's lips as he observed the scene, murmuring:
"They've arrived… The captains are here… The battle is over."
---
In the sky, Leo soared freely, blue sparks orbiting around his body like electrical rings. He looked down at the scattered soldiers of Braidus below, then extended his arm toward them, his voice thundering through the sky:
"Water Waves!"
From his palm, thick streams of water shot out like laser beams, instantly piercing through one of the soldiers, tearing through his chest and exiting his back with horrifying force. The soldiers' eyes widened in terror, and they began fleeing in panic. But the water continued its relentless surge, morphing into a massive wave that engulfed the battlefield, sweeping away the terrified soldiers like leaves in a storm.
Amid the chaos, Maria appeared before the soldiers, waiting to welcome them. Her pink wings flapped gracefully in the air. Suddenly, her left wing transformed into a glowing, razor-sharp blade. Without hesitation, she lunged at an inhuman speed. Her blade cleaved through the fleeing soldiers' necks, sending heads flying through the air while blood gushed like fountains, staining the surging waves below. The headless bodies collapsed onto the ground as the battlefield turned into a sea of crimson chaos.
Above, Leo prepared to strike another group of soldiers. At that moment, the sword-like shape in Maria's arm vanished, and her wing returned to its original pink form. She flapped her wings and ascended toward Leo, like a predatory bird chasing its prey, ready for the next round of slaughter.
---
In the northern section of the battlefield…
Amy stared in awe and exhilaration as she watched the phantom Onoko streak through the sky like a lightning bolt toward her position. Standing unwaveringly atop the phantom's back, Raizo appeared like a statue of determination amidst the storm. Suddenly, Onoko accelerated dramatically, leaving behind a trail of golden lightning sparks that danced around its body. In a flash, it reached the northern battlefield, halting abruptly before descending onto the wrecked train. Raizo leaped off its back, landing firmly atop the remaining surface of the train.
Behind them, Amy continued watching with excitement and admiration, but suddenly, she felt a strong hand grab her wrist and yank her backward. She turned quickly, only to find Ryan holding onto her arm, his eyes filled with urgency:
"Ryan?! … What are you doing here?!" she asked in shock.
Ryan replied with evident concern:
"Come on! We need to get back to headquarters!"
But Amy couldn't tear her gaze away from Raizo and Phantom Onoko Borna, who stood atop the train with an imposing presence. The golden lightning crackled around the colossal phantom's body, producing a crackling sound akin to a thunderstorm forewarning an impending calamity. She whispered in disbelief:
"This is the first time I've seen it up close like this!"
Ryan lifted his gaze as well, his eyes widening as he stared at Phantom Borna. Its sheer size, radiant skin, and overwhelming presence dominated the battlefield, sending a cold shiver of fear creeping down his spine.
---
On Top of the Train
Raizo was unaware of Amy and Ryan behind him; his eyes were fixed on the mountain ahead. He spoke in a low but firm voice:
"So... this is the headquarters of the Braidus soldiers?"
Beside him, Onoko Borna was also staring at the mountain, her glowing eyes flashing with a golden gleam, radiating an air of mystery. In a quiet voice, yet carrying hidden strength, she asked:
"What do you want me to do, Raizo?"
Raizo remained silent for a moment, as though weighing his words carefully. Finally, he spoke in a dry tone, an ominous aura lingering beneath:
"Borna..."
Onoko Borna turned to look at him, awaiting his orders. He then continued sharply, like a blade:
"Activate the GOD OF DESTRUCTION!"
For a moment, Onoko Borna remained motionless, but her eyes returned to the mountain, as if fully processing the command. Afterward, she spoke in a chillingly calm voice:
"Alright, Raizo... I will devastate the battlefield."
In that instant, Onoko Borna rose from the train's surface, her massive form floating in the air, golden lightning sparks dancing wildly around her. She ascended higher and higher, until she appeared as a dark silhouette against the glow of the sky.
Behind them, Amy and Ryan watched the scene in awe and shock, their eyes fixed on her as she ascended, as if witnessing an unstoppable force.
---
In a Corner of the Battlefield
Amid the chaos, the ground was flooded with water, turning the battlefield into a deadly swamp. In this scene, Maria fought relentlessly, her arm transforming into a giant pink hammer, gleaming as if made from pure energy. She shouted as she swung it through the air, before smashing it into a group of fleeing soldiers. The moment it collided with them, it seemed as if it carried the weight of the world itself. Their bodies didn't just shatter; they exploded like blood bubbles, scattering in every direction, turning the air into a crimson mist.
While Maria was lost in battle, Leo suddenly turned, his eyes wide as he stared at the sky. His voice came out in awe as he called out to her:
"HEY! LOOK!"
Maria turned as well, her gaze following his, until her eyes landed on the Phantom Borna continuing to rise into the sky. She raised an eyebrow in surprise and said coldly, as though indifferent to what might happen:
"Is she going to destroy the area?"
Leo sighed and then spoke with a hint of despair in his tone:
"Oh God… looks like I won't be dying today either."
Maria responded in a low voice, as if annoyed:
"I really hate the way you speak like that..."
Leo didn't answer. He kept staring at the Phantom Borna, his white hair flowing with the wind, resembling dancing waves of water. After a moment, he exhaled deeply and said:
"Let's head to the trench, we better hide before the destruction starts."
Maria nodded in agreement. In the blink of an eye, her pink hammer transformed once again into a wing, and she began to flutter, soaring into the sky. Leo followed her, both heading south toward the trench where the soldiers of Arcadia had taken their final defensive position in this bloody war.
—
In the northern section of the battlefield…
Onoko Borna continued to rise, surpassing the clouds until she reached a high point in the sky. She extended her arms forward, her outstretched fingers glowing with golden lightning that danced lightly around her palms. In a calm voice, but charged with awe, she declared:
"Activate the Sky of the God of Destruction."
In an instant, silence filled the air, the gentle winds brushing as if bidding farewell to what was coming. Below, Raizo stood, his head tilted upward, his determined features unchanged, while behind him, Amy and Ryan stood frozen, their bodies paralyzed by the awe-inspiring sight before them.
Suddenly, a massive golden beam shot from Borna's palms toward the sky, violently piercing the clouds. The power of the lightning surrounding her body intensified. Her golden eyes flashed with fearsome energy, and with that, the sky began to gradually turn into a dark crimson, as though the sun had come too close. The white clouds transformed into dense black masses, with golden thunder dancing inside them, striking one another with deafening roars. The beam from Borna's hands lit up the battlefield, slicing through the horizon like a terrifying flash.
On the ground, the light began to fade, as though night had fallen in the middle of the day. The sky, ablaze with red and deafening thunder, left Amy and Ryan immobile, their eyes wide in terror, their bodies trembling in the face of the monumental scene.
But suddenly, in a split second, Leo moved with the speed of lightning, grabbing them in his arms and quickly darting away from the eye of the storm.
His features, behind the black mask, were charged with anticipation and tension, as the sky began to lash the earth with whips of golden lightning. Every strike that hit the ground caused cracks and explosions, igniting fires everywhere. The scattered bodies in the battlefield caught fire, burning like straw in the wind.
Amidst this destruction, Raizo remained unmoving. The violent thunder struck around him, but it did not approach him. His golden eyes glowed with terrifying intensity, and the earth beneath his feet cracked and scattered, yet he remained standing there, eerily calm, as if the absolute ruler of this calamity.
---
The Trench - Arcadia's Camp
Deep within the trench, Ryan, Amy, Samuel, Emre, Marshal Chris, and several Arcadia soldiers gathered, staring at the sky with stunned expressions, watching the thunder strike the earth relentlessly.
Among them, Marshal Chris was the only one who did not show fear. Instead, he looked on calmly, his features reflecting pride as he spoke in a commanding voice:
"This is the power of our nation! This is Arcadia's great weapon—'ONOKO BORNA!'"
Amy couldn't close her mouth in sheer disbelief. She gazed at the red sky raining destruction, the thunder sweeping across the land like a hungry beast, turning it into a scorched desert.
After minutes of hell, the thunder gradually began to subside, and the crimson sky slowly returned to its usual blue, as though nothing had happened. As the black clouds dissipated, the battlefield revealed itself to everyone—a barren, desolate land, with nothing left: no soldiers, no weapons, no camps.
The sun returned to cast its rays over the devastated scene, and Chris looked at this tragic end, speaking with a tone of victory:
"The war is over! The nation of Arcadia has won with its own weapon—'Onoko Borna!'"
But despite the declaration of victory, the soldiers remained frozen in place. No one raised their weapons in celebration, no one cheered in joy. They were all stunned, their faces pale, their expressions reflecting more terror than joy.
They had witnessed victory, but they had also seen a force beyond control—a force that could annihilate everything.
—
One Hour Later – Inside the Train
In one of the train's cabins, silence prevailed despite the chaos outside. Raizo, Leo, and Maria sat quietly in their seats, while Marshal Chris stood with them inside the car.
From behind the walls, the sounds of soldiers could be heard chanting, shouting, laughing, and bottles of alcohol being raised in the air to celebrate the victory.
Leo, whose hair had returned to its natural black color after the mask had disappeared, sat muttering in annoyance, his eyes half-closed from exhaustion:
"How annoying... Why all this noise?!"
He suddenly stood up, his face frowning as he headed toward the door of the car:
"I'm going to make them stop this ridiculous racket."
But before he could touch the door, Marshal Chris's voice reached him, calm yet firm:
"Stop."
Leo froze in his place, turning to face the marshal, who sat quietly with his hands folded, his eyes fixed on him:
"Let them celebrate their victory. They fought bravely and earned this moment of joy."
Leo remained silent for a moment, then sighed in frustration, shaking his head before returning to his seat without protest.
On the other side, Maria was fast asleep, while Raizo sat with his eyes closed, his face expressionless, as if he couldn't hear anything happening around him.
---
Outside the Room – Inside the Train
In the corridors and other cabins, the soldiers were fully immersed in their moment of victory.
"Amy! ... Amy! ... Amy!"
They cheered her name, raising it high while she waved her hand joyfully, her laughter filling the air. Bottles of alcohol were passed around, and the overall mood was one of celebration and revelry.
In the corner, Samuel sat across from Emre, playing chess. Samuel's thoughtful gaze indicated he was planning his next move.
Meanwhile, on the floor, Ryan lay on his back, staring at the ceiling with tired eyes, watching everyone celebrate, drink, and laugh... but he wasn't part of them. He seemed lost in another world, his mind weighed down by everything that had happened.

On the World News Screens – Breaking News
On all news channels, the headlines filled the screens:
"After a full year of war between the Nation of Arcadia and the Nation of Braidus, which broke out due to Braidus's opposition to the rule of the World Sages residing in Arcadia, the battle has finally come to an end. Today, Arcadia announced its victory thanks to its invincible weapon—'Onoko Borna.' "
Footage from the battlefield appeared… the scorched earth… the sky stained red… followed by a blurry, unclear image of the phantom Onoko Borna unleashing its devastating thunder upon the ground.
The news was shocking to the entire world.

At the Mental Hospital
In the hospital courtyard, amidst the withered trees and neglected grass, a man sat on an old wooden bench, his eyes closed, his face as hard as stone.
His hair was long and brown, his beard thick and untrimmed, and bandages were wrapped around his forehead, covering one of his eyes completely.
Between his fingers, there was a recent newspaper, with the breaking news lines clearly visible.
"Arcadia's victory with its mysterious weapon 'Onoko Borna'..."
He read the words silently, showing no reaction.
Then, slowly, he lifted his head, his sharp brown eyes gleaming with a cold, harsh intensity.
The man was none other than...
SUERO RASHID.
And he had now reached the age of twenty-two.
