Artoria dashed forward, she activated the Capture Hook on her glowing left arm, launching the extendable chain straight at the Megid's mouth.
With a click, it locked onto the top of its slimy jaw.
"Gotcha!"
A small, glowing green fairy zipped around Artoria, giggling with delight as it tugged upward on the chain. Both Artoria and the Megid suddenly lifted into the air, being spun around in a wide arc like a pair of flying yo-yos.
"W-Whoa–whoa–whoa!!" Artoria yelped.
"ARTORIA, YOU IDIOT!" Rin yelled from the water, shielding her face. "Why in the world would you use it like that?!"
Before Artoria could respond, the fairy let go of the chain mid-spin.
Artoria was flung straight at Rin like a human cannonball.
SPLASH!
"OOF!"
Artoria landed on top of Rin, sending both Riders toppling back into the creek in a soaking, tangled heap of limbs and armor.
Meanwhile, the Hanzaki Megid face-planted into a muddy patch a few feet away with a loud, undignified splat.
Artoria sat up, rubbing her head. "Owww… my bad! I didn't mean to, I promise!"
Rin pushed Artoria off with a groan. "What was that travesty supposed to be?! Acrobatics gone wrong?!"
Artoria laughed sheepishly. "I thought it'd be cool…"
Rin got to her feet, drenched and glaring. "Hand over Peter Fantasista. Now."
"Eh? You sure?"
Rin placed a hand on Artoria's head, patting it in mock affection. "Watch and learn, my young pupil. This Wonder Ride Book suits my fighting style better."
"...You think?" Artoria hesitated but then nodded and took the glowing green book from her driver. "Okay, here."
"Thank you~." Rin smirked, sheathing Nagare into the driver.
Peter Fantasista!
She slammed it into the left slot, right next to Lion Senki in the middle. Both books snapped open in tandem, glowing with watery blue and fairy green light.
Suddenly, Rin appeared within a luminous, aquatic library, with cascading waterfalls and glowing tomes floating midair. The blue lion of Lion Senki leapt from the mist as the green fairy from Peter Fantasista danced beside it.
Rin pulled out Suiseiken Nagare, and a ripple surged outward like a splash of moonlit water.
Nagare Unsheathe!
The shining lion Fantasista!
Blue mist encased her body, while yellow-and-green sparks coiled around her left side. Her armor transformed—sleek and elegant, with a hook gauntlet on her left arm, shoulder armor like fluttering wings, and her helmet crowned with a green fairy mask.
Nagare: Two Volumes! Roar and Sparkle!
The claws of Fantasy now reside within the blue swordsman!
Artoria blinked, jaw slightly agape. "That's… That's so cool!"
"Pay close attention," Rin said coolly, pointing Nagare forward. "This is how you use a pair of matching Wonder Ride Books!"
She darted at the Hanzaki, blades clashing with sharp sparks. Her agility outmatched the Megid's sluggish swings. With a powerful strike, she sent it sprawling to the ground.
Lion Senki!
Rin spun the Capture Hook, generating six glowing water spheres in the air.
Peter Fantasista!
She summoned the Blue Lion, leapt onto its back, and charged forward—vanishing into the water spheres. Each time she reappeared, she delivered a swift strike, slicing through the Megid again and again in rapid succession.
The final blow launched the Hanzaki backward in a crumpled heap.
"That's so cool! You're amazing, Rin-san!" Artoria clapped enthusiastically. "Now let me have some fun!"
She inserted a new Wonder Ride Book: Jackun-to-Domamenoki.
Flames burst around her. Inside a burning library, twisting vines and leaves began to swirl. Brave Dragon and Jackun-to-Domamenoki flared behind her. As she drew Rekka, the energy combined.
Unleash the Flame!
Brave Dragon coils around her, roaring into the air. At the same time, emerald vines twist around her arm and leg, blooming and tightening like armor. A burst of light explodes from the transformation.
Wonder Rider!
"How's this for Jackun?" She raised her left arm and fired a barrage of Domame Beans at the Hanzaki, forcing it to slash wildly in defense.
"Little pest!" it shouted, charging her.
They clashed in close-quarters, but Artoria surprised the Megid.
Jackun-To-Domamenoki!
A burst of vines erupted beneath the monster's feet, spiraling into a massive beanstalk. It launched the Megid into the sky before it slammed back down hard onto the ground.
"Bet you didn't see that coming!" Artoria says, and Rin chuckled, patting her on the back.
Suddenly, the earth rumbled.
From behind them stood Ogami-san, sword resting on his shoulder.
"Mr. Ogami..." Artoria breathed.
"First!" He took a step forward. "To all those who hail the forces of evil…"
"Second! The wrath of the earth shall tremble beneath you… Third!" He halted.
"A merciless death awaits by the steel of my blade!"
"Talk about intense…" Artoria whispered, and Rin nodded in agreement.
Genbu Shinwa!
Ogami drew out his Wonder Ride Book and opened it.
There once lived a beast of impenetrable shell, known across the land as one of the Four Sacred Guardians.
He inserted it into his Dogouken Gekido, the pages fluttering open as he stood within a rocky library. He pulled the trigger, summoning a massive turtle shell of energy.
Genbu Shinwa!
"Henshin!"
A vertical slash shattered the rocks—forming armor across his body.
Cleave with one stroke! Divide the lands!
The transformation completed as he became Kamen Rider Buster.
Rumble! Rumble!
Gekido, The Sword Of Quakes!
Gekido: Reissued! The sword with indestructible armor splits the earth, as it asserts the supreme might of the North!
"Hand over my son!" Ogami roared.
He slammed the Wonder Ride Book onto the Shingan Reader.
Genbu Shinwa!
RUMBLE!
The sword grew massive—orange light rippling down its edge like an earthquake.
"Everyone down!" Rin yelled, pulling Artoria aside.
Dai Dandan! Intense Gekido Sporadic Strike!
The earth shattered beneath the Hanzaki as Buster's massive slash struck it with seismic force.
RUMBLE!
A thunderous boom echoed across the battlefield, followed by an explosion. The Megid was no more and the Riders all dehenshined.
"He really is the strongest…" Artoria muttered, rising with Rin beside her.
But as they turned toward the empty bench—the place where Sora had disappeared—they realized something was wrong.
"Wait… something's not right!" Ogami said, lowering his sword.
The world had not returned to normal.
"The people… the city… they're still gone," Rin said, her voice low and grim.
Artoria turned toward her mentor. "Mr. Ogami…"
Ogami slammed Gekido into the ground. "Why..? I already pummeled him to dust!"
Silence fell around them as the unnatural stillness of Wonder World stretched on.
