She nodded and rushed to get it.
With a scissors, she tore the bloodied pants to reveal his wounded leg.
On seeing the extent of his injury, I knew that it wasn't just some broken bones we were treating. Both his skin and some veins were compromised.
My heart clenched for my warrior. He was going through this because of me. Because of my failed deal with Alpha Dmitri.
"I was wrong. This is more than just broken bones. Are you sure you can do this?" I asked Nylah, giving up hope myself.
