I heard my name from behind as I was making my way to the couple I suspected would be Xavier and Ivy.
Maybe it was because of Xavier's ill attitude to me those weeks but I had a strong feeling that he was coming to the meeting with a surprise for me and it was going to be an unpleasant one.
I turned around to see Sofia holding up a glass of wine with a smugish smile on her face.
"Please help me serve those guests at the other end of the hall since you are going there already. I have guests to attend over here." She pleaded, and I collected the bottle from her without hesitation.
I didn't want to miss them or have them mix in the crowd, so I needed to avoid distraction.
I scanned the area I saw them, and once my eyes found them again, I walked towards them, my focus on them, and my steps calculated. Intentional.
I walked past the side of his face and caught a glimpse of the Male's face, and I was shocked to see that it was really Alpha Xavier.
