Ivy pulled me back when she noticed that I was fuming and was about to let the anger break loose.
She wrapped her hands around mine so tightly, I felt like she was going to cut off my hand from the pull.
Nylah walked away from the scene and only then did my anger calm a bit, but I still wanted to tear Gunner apart for touching what was mine.
Ivy laughed off what happened and pulled me away from there to another side of the hall where fewer guests were.
She stood in front of me and finally let go of my hand, but her face was far from cheerful.
"What did you want to do back there?" She asked even though it was obvious enough.
"If I hadn't held you back, you were going to butt in and create a scene in an event like this where we were supposed to introduce ourselves as a couple? What do you want the guests to think?!" She exclaimed in a whisper, trying not to be too loud.
I ignored her and wiped my nose with the back of my index finger.
