Lira leaned back against the soft grass by the fire, Fluffy curled up in her lap, purring as if urging her to relax. Renkai sat close, still holding her hand, his fingers brushing against hers, eyes wide and fixed on her. The tension from the previous hours melted slowly in the warmth of the campfire, but his concern and curiosity were still palpable.
"Renkai…" Lira began softly, taking a deep breath, "I… I need to tell you what happened in the dreamworld."
He nodded, squeezing her hand. "I want to hear everything. Every moment."
Lira closed her eyes briefly, letting her mind drift back. "It was… strange. Fog everywhere, rainbow-colored fog that twisted and shifted. At first, I felt lost, completely alone. But then… I realized the fog wasn't just mist—it was memories. Pieces of this world, the crystalline planet, its past, its echoes."
Renkai's eyes widened, and he leaned closer. "Memories? Like… the planet remembers?"
