Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : What Started Everything

Everything in this world will meet its end at the end of the day, and that's also what happened to our main character, Qing Chen.

Qing Chen is not your typical twenties man. He was born and raised in a multi-billionaire household, living the life that everyone has always wanted, which made people boil in hatred and envy toward him. He was always found smiling and enjoying his life, but then—like everyone says—"the water is deeper than it looks."

Behind that smile he always showed to the world, Qing Chen had a little sister that he really loved. People might think, "Why is it so deep?" The problem is that his little sister, [insert name], wasn't as lucky as he was. She was born healthy like any other person, but the problem arose when she reached the age of twelve. She gained a disease that everyone in this world wishes had never existed in the first place—cancer. To be exact, lung cancer. This meant she needed to be taken care of 24/7.

Enough of that. Now we're going to focus on our main character, Qing Chen. Qing Chen was casually doing his daily activities: taking care of his sister, working from home, cooking food for his family, and many more. Now you might think, Why is he even cooking? Isn't his family rich? Why not just hire a personal chef to cook for them? Well, my friend, this all happened because of his parents.

Qing Chen's parents were known to be ruthless to him. They trained him from a very young age—training in music, arts, literature, sports, business, and even cooking. To test whether their son was really capable and was actually absorbing all the information and skills taught by his teachers, they told him to do every chore in the mansion every day, which sucked.

Now, it wouldn't be a reincarnation/transmigration story without someone dying, and that is where our main story starts. One day, Qing Chen was just minding his own business, honing his skills on playing the traditional instrument Guzheng. Now, for everyone who has played this instrument, you know that you could accidentally injure yourself while playing—and that's exactly what happened to Qing Chen. He injured his finger and was trying his best to stop the bleeding. But for some dumb reason, he accidentally took a bottle full of mercury instead of alcohol, dipped a piece of cloth into the bottle, and rubbed it on his wound—which resulted in his vision turning black.

Now, silly Qing Chen didn't realize that he was dead at that moment, leaving everything he once had behind. After a period of time, he woke up from his slumber and looked at the ceiling, feeling uneasy. His parents' house, where he was currently living, was always full of luxury. But when he woke up, he was just seeing a white ceiling and nothing else, which caused him to start panicking.

"This isn't my home. Where am I?" He started to ponder and tried to remember everything that had happened before waking up in this place. While he was still pondering, suddenly there was a sound of a door creaking, which brought him back to his senses.

"Ohh, I see. Now you're awake," a calm yet domineering voice was heard. Hearing the female voice that greeted him, Qing Chen immediately turned his head around and stared at her directly, without looking away for even a second.

"Don't look at me like that. You know it's impolite to stare at someone like that," she chuckled, trying to lift the mood and break the ice. Qing Chen, realizing his rudeness, adjusted his demeanor and softened his gaze.

"I'm sorry for my rudeness. If you don't mind me asking—who are you?" replied Qing Chen, trying to find out the identity behind the mysterious woman who had just entered the room.

"Ah… right, my introduction. So silly of me," the mysterious woman said as she twirled. "I'm what you would call a deity, I guess. But I'm different from the others. People know me as the Goddess of Fate."

"Well, the reason why you're here in the first place is simple: you died," explained the Goddess of Fate. "Usually, people who die go straight to either Heaven or Hell—but you are different. A lucky one."

"I looked through your life. At first, I didn't care about it since your fate was already written in the script—to endure everything. But then you weren't even supposed to touch the mercury… and yet you did," the Goddess of Fate continued to explain, making Qing Chen even more speechless as more and more was revealed. "Since we felt bad for you—and technically you weren't even supposed to die yet—I, as the Goddess of Fate, decided to give you a second chance at life."

"Wait, so what you're telling me is that I died when I wasn't supposed to, and you decided to give me a second chance—in another world?" Qing Chen began to piece everything together. The goddess replied with a nod.

"So in that case, why can't you just bring me back to my previous body? You know how much I love my sister, despite having terrible parents," Qing Chen asked the goddess.

"That's possible but impossible at the same time. You see, despite being one of the strongest goddesses, I still have my limits. I can't bring you back directly to your body. But… if you agree to do something for me, then I could make that happen," the Goddess of Fate negotiated.

After hearing the catch that needed to be done in order to do so Qing Chen doesn't even think for a second and directly agreed to the catch taht needed to be done.

"Good, alright then just for your information you need to atleast conquer three world from different universe which then I would bring you back to your original body." the Goddess of Fate replied, "Alright then I'm not going to waste you time anymore."

With that being said she snapped her finger and there you go Qing Chen vision started to turn black once more time marking the start of your journey.
