Chapter 13 - Chapter 11: Scars That Don't Heal

Some truths do more than break you — they shape you into something unrecognizable.

---

10:33 A.M.

Therapy Room – Off-campus

Naomi visits Reina, a girl who used to attend St. Gabriel's. Quiet. Gone without explanation.

She was one of Suda's favorites.

Reina wears a hoodie, eyes cast down. She's sixteen, but looks younger. Smaller.

"I'm not here to make you talk," Naomi says. "I just want you to know… it's over. He can't touch you anymore."

Reina doesn't cry. She doesn't even blink.

Then, softly:

> "No one believed me. Not the counselor. Not my mom. Not the school."

"But he did."

"The man with the white mask. He told me I wasn't lying."

Naomi freezes.

Reina looks up. Her eyes gleam, glassy and empty.

> "He said the world needs people like him."

1:06 P.M.

St. Gabriel's High – Empty Classroom

Silas watches the rain streak down the windows.

A student walks in — one of the upperclassmen. Daichi Fukuda. Arrogant. Entitled. A bully with a nice face.

Silas offered him a favor earlier. A chance to score with a freshman. "She's waiting. Room C3. Door's unlocked."

Daichi grinned.

Now Silas checks his phone.

> Live feed: Room C3.

Mika, waiting alone, holding a knife under her desk.

Audio enabled. She's shaking. Scared. But ready.

Naomi told her to be strong. Told her some monsters wear smiles.

And Silas?

Silas told her how to hold the knife.

1:11 P.M.

Room C3

Daichi walks in. Tries to be smooth. "Hey, you called me?"

Mika stands. Tense. Frozen. Gripping the blade.

She sees the door close behind him.

She remembers what he did. What he said to her in the hallway weeks ago.

And her hand moves.

Not fast enough.

Daichi grabs her wrist.

But Naomi bursts in—gun drawn. Too fast for coincidence.

> "Let go of her, Fukuda."

He panics. Mika drops the knife.

Naomi arrests him on the spot. Witness statement. Knife. Threats on message history.

It's enough.

Barely.

2:44 P.M.

Naomi's Apartment

She stares at the report. Another predator exposed. Another trap sprung.

But… this time she didn't know it was set.

Silas used Mika. Used her trauma.

And worse—he predicted Naomi would save her again.

Her thoughts swirl.

> Is this help? Or manipulation?

How many times has he steered me without me knowing?

---

8:09 P.M.

Silas's Studio

He plays the recording again. Mika whispering "I'm ready" as she gripped the knife.

She's not a killer. Not yet.

But she wanted justice.

And justice is the first step to becoming like him.

Final Scene

Naomi walks through the school that night, alone.

She finds a note in her desk drawer.

Handwritten.

> "They don't listen until someone bleeds. You taught her that.

—Hollow"

She burns the paper. But not the idea.

---

Final Line:

> "He's not just trying to kill people," she says aloud.

"He's trying to make more of him."
