Yohan stepped out of the loan shark's building just as a low rumble of thunder rolled across the sky.
"Looks like it's about to pour… I should probably wait until tomorrow," he muttered, though deep down he knew he couldn't. His mind was already tugging at him to go and see her.
He let out a long sigh and started walking.
By the time he reached her place, night had already fallen, and the rain came down in sheets.
The doorbell rang.
Inside, Chloe frowned as she approached the door. "Who on earth would come out in this weather?"
When she opened it, she froze.
"Hey…" Yohan stood there, awkward and dripping wet, his hair plastered to his forehead.
"Yohan?" Concern broke through her voice before she could stop it. Seeing him soaked through almost made her forget what had happened earlier with Mia. Almost.
