Yohan spent the night at a cheap motel, then headed straight to the college the next morning.
He'd already contacted an old high school classmate, Anthony, so a room had been arranged for him ahead of time.
The door pushed open, and the both of them stepped inside. It was a small studio apartment, but it looked decent. A neatly made bed sat in the corner, and the floors were clean.
The room had a simple desk, a wardrobe against the wall, and a small kitchenette by the window. Nothing luxurious, but comfortable enough for a few nights.
"Normally I'm not supposed to give out this room to non-students," the short guy with thick black hair said. He stretched out his hand, clearly waiting for the money. "But we go way back, so I'm doing you this favor."
Yohan pulled out a few bills and handed them over.
"You said we go way back, and you're still charging me like this?" Yohan sighed.
