This world contains many valuable metals that are far beyond our normal understanding. Hawkman is the perfect example of what N Metal can do. The N Metal in his body once brought him back to life even after doctors said he was dead. When hit with Eighth Metal, the N Metal can wake up people who have given up completely, pulling them back from total hopelessness.
Almost all the N Metal in existence belongs to the Thanagarian Empire. This valuable metal gives the Thanagarians their incredible power and advanced society. Long ago, N Metal wasn't just a source of strength but also a holy symbol of the legendary Hawkman and Hawkgirl.
Famous equipment made from pure N Metal includes a bunch of amazing items: Hawkman and Hawkgirl's legendary maces, Steel's mighty hammer, Plastic Man's protective eggshell, the mystical Shazam Power Dagger, Dr. Fate's ancient helmet of order, and even Batman keeps specially made N Metal knuckles in his gear to fight supernatural creatures, plus many other legendary items.
Unfortunately for outsiders, the Thanagarian Empire's N Metal supplies are absolutely not for sale to anyone outside their empire.
Even George, despite using Bruce's extensive connections and considerable influence, only managed to get a piece about the size of his palm.
George's personal visit to the Thanagarian Empire this time was definitely not done with any plan to steal anything. George's carefully built public image is that of a good person, and actions that would damage his reputation absolutely cannot be done while operating in the main Universe.
The Transformation
Just one month after the mother box was lost in the previous battle, George felt a clear change moving through space itself. George immediately found a very private location, making sure no one could see him, and then carefully entered his personal dimensional space.
The moment George stepped into the space, an absolutely incredible energy wrapped around his entire body completely. Countless pieces of cosmic information began pouring into George's mind like a huge flood.
Even with George's enhanced learning ability, which worked faster than the most advanced supercomputers, his consciousness fell into its deepest thinking state at that critical moment. His mind began the huge task of processing and understanding the overwhelming outside information.
The big changes brought by that mysterious energy mass weren't limited to information downloads alone. After being thoroughly covered by the transforming energy, George's physical body also went through a deep change, starting from the tiniest cellular details and working outward.
George's height had been a modest 170cm when he first awakened his abilities years ago. However, over the years that followed, he had gone through gradual but significant transformations due to exposure to the Heart-Shaped Grass and various forms of Chaos Energy.
The changes had been particularly dramatic after successfully merging with Superman's Kryptonian bloodline, causing his body to surge dramatically to an imposing 220cm. From his physical appearance alone, he could definitely be considered a powerfully built, intimidatingly muscular man.
Three full days later, the swirling energy surrounding George's floating form began to slowly fade away like morning mist. His tightly closed eyes gradually opened once again, now gleaming with newfound power and understanding.
George slowly descended and landed gracefully on the solid ground beneath him. With nothing more than a casual thought, a perfectly smooth mirror appeared in the air directly opposite his position.
This time, George did not use any of his magical abilities or space manipulation powers. The mirror formed naturally and effortlessly with just a single focused thought. This was the incredible molecular manipulation ability inherited from the mother box's advanced technology.
As long as George could thoroughly understand the molecular structure and composition of any object, he could generate it instantly with just a thought. Of course, matter could not simply appear from nothing but had to be converted and restructured from other existing materials in the immediate area.
Simply put, it was advanced matter conversion and reconstruction on a molecular level.
George examined his reflection carefully in the created mirror, taking in his new 185cm body. His build was no longer that of an exaggerated, overly muscular strongman, but rather displayed perfect muscle definition and proportion.
He had perfectly sculpted abs, powerfully built yet elegant arms, and broad, reassuring shoulders that made him a walking example of masculine appeal.
Flying back to the villa in his dimensional space to change into fresh clothes, George directed his attention toward the Star Network server room located next to his laboratory.
Previously, George had maintained control over the Star Network because its underlying programming logic was specifically written to obey his direct commands without question. Now, however, when George focused his gaze upon the Star Network's infrastructure, he experienced a deep sense of higher-level technological suppression and dominance.
Moreover, George discovered that he could now freely control and manipulate all electronic devices within his sphere of influence. The network systems within his personal space were already completely under his absolute control, so testing these new abilities there didn't provide much of a challenge or reveal the true extent of his powers.
Therefore, when George ventured back to the outside world, he made a remarkable discovery. If he truly wished it, his enhanced perspective could completely perceive and access another realm entirely, the vast digital world that existed parallel to physical reality.
Dr. Stone had once provided a complete evaluation of Cyborg's capabilities, stating that in the world of binary code, the realm of 0s and 1s, Cyborg functioned as the absolute master and supreme authority. No firewall could successfully stop his intrusion, no password existed that he couldn't crack with ease.
Everything digital was completely at his disposal and command. From massive power plants and electrical grids to sophisticated telecommunications equipment, everyone's daily life was dominated and controlled by complex digital networks, and Cyborg possessed the ability to rule over it all.
Perhaps Dr. Stone's assessment had been entirely accurate before George successfully integrated and absorbed the advanced rules contained within the mother box's cosmic technology. After that huge transformation, however, the digital world had welcomed its one true king.
The crucial difference lay in their origins and extent of power. Cyborg had become a cybernetic being due to the traumatic stimulation and emergency integration of a single mother box during a life-threatening accident.
George, on the other hand, had completely and methodically absorbed all the fundamental rules, knowledge, and power from multiple sources. There existed a vast, fundamental difference between these two approaches to digital mastery.
After conducting thorough experiments to test and understand his newfound electronic control abilities, George turned around and returned to the safety and privacy of his dimensional space.
He systematically tested each new ability he had gained.
Tracing energy signatures across vast distances,
controlling gravitational forces,
transferring energy between different sources,
sensing incoming danger and detecting life forms,
creating impenetrable force fields,
rearranging the molecular structure of matter at will,
attracting objects or projecting powerful impact bursts,
creating complex electronic webs and networks,
controlling the mental state of targeted subjects,
communicating telepathically with other life forms through various mediums,
and taking over and controlling both unconscious automated systems and conscious machines.
George methodically tested each and every one of these remarkable abilities. Aside from not being entirely familiar with the precise techniques and optimal applications yet, there were absolutely no problems whatsoever in successfully using any of them.
However, George deliberately chose not to test two particular abilities from the mother box's arsenal. He avoided testing the mother box's boom tube transportation system and its ability to help him survive in the harshest possible environments.
The first reason for this caution was that boom tubes easily attracted unwanted attention from other cosmic entities and potential enemies. The second reason was that George simply did not have any masochistic habit of seeking abuse by intentionally testing his ability to maintain his life form in deliberately harsh and dangerous environments.
After all, following his successful integration with Superman's Kryptonian bloodline, George's natural survival abilities were already off the charts and beyond most conceivable threats.
Another significant physical change that George noticed was that his eyes, which had previously required specially tinted contact lenses to conceal their unusual appearance and otherworldly glow, had completely returned to normal after this latest integration process.
The enhanced abilities associated with his vision had not disappeared or diminished in any way. Only his eyes had returned to their original, natural human color, eliminating the need for any disguise.
After carefully organising and cataloguing all his remarkable gains and new abilities, George's attention was drawn to a head-sized piece of gleaming metal that had been wrapped within the dissipating energy mass. An unconscious smile of pure satisfaction and anticipation appeared on his lips.
George instinctively felt that this mysterious metal represented his single biggest and most valuable gain from this entire transformative experience: genuine X Metal.
It should be universally known throughout the cosmic community that X Metal is also called the legendary Tenth Metal. This extraordinary substance is filled with the purest form of unlimited possibility and cosmic potential.
It can be utilised by the Universe crafters, beings of unimaginable power, to build entire universes from scratch, literally.
Therefore, for George's long-term goal of evolving the space contained within his chaos pearl from a relatively small world into a vast, fully functional universe, X Metal represented an absolutely perfect and irreplaceable material.
The only limitation was that, for the immediate present, George did not yet possess all the necessary conditions, knowledge, and power required for such a monumental evolutionary transformation.
Suppressing his tremendous excitement and anticipation for future possibilities, George made the practical decision to bid farewell to the Justice League before departing from this particular world and dimension.
He had already gained an incredible amount of benefits and advantages from his time here.
Just as George was making his final preparations to leave this world behind, he received an unexpected communication call from Bruce Wayne.
Upon arriving at the sophisticated Batcave hidden beneath Wayne Manor, George discovered that all the core members of the Justice League had already assembled and were waiting for him.
"What's wrong, everyone? Is there finally some news about the missing mother box?" George asked with genuine curiosity and concern.
"No, George. Uh, let Bruce explain the situation to you. We're all here specifically to offer our help and support," Barry Allen responded with his characteristic nervous energy.
"Allow me to explain the current situation," Bruce began in his typically methodical manner.
"After we all departed from the scene, I took the initiative to thoroughly clean up and investigate Steppenwolf's abandoned lair once again. During that comprehensive search, I discovered some extremely special and valuable metals among the debris."
Bruce paused momentarily before continuing.
"Now that my physical fitness and capabilities have surpassed those of ordinary humans significantly, I want to construct a much more powerful and advanced battle armour. This enhanced equipment will be essential for facing Darkseid, who will definitely return to Earth in the future with even greater force and determination!"
