Some words aren't planned — they just escape from the heart.
---
Aarav stared at the floor, his phone lying beside his feet.
His face had gone pale. His hands trembled slightly.
Aisha stood frozen a few steps away, holding her breath.
> "Aarav…?" she said softly.
He finally looked up at her — eyes unfocused, as if his mind was still catching up.
> "It's my mom," he said quietly.
"She had an accident. I need to leave for Korea. Tonight."
Aisha's expression shifted from concern to shock.
> "Oh my God. Is she okay?"
He didn't respond. Just nodded, as if convincing himself more than her.
He picked up his phone quickly and began tapping furiously, already opening flight apps, checking seats, breathing fast.
Aisha took a step forward.
> "Hey… wait," she said gently.
"If you're going... can I come with you?"
His fingers stopped. He turned to her, confused.
> "What? You can't just—how would that even—"
> "I cleared my interview today," she said, her voice steady. "They selected me. I was going to tell you when I came out."
He blinked. "You… got the job?"
> "Yeah," she smiled faintly. "And I have to go to Korea soon anyway. So I thought—maybe I could go now. With you. If you'll let me."
> "But what about your parents?"
> "Just… talk to them. With me."

🏠 [Scene Change – Living Room]
The clock ticked loudly in the silence.
Aarav stood in front of Aisha's parents. She stood quietly beside him, hands clasped behind her back.
> "Uncle, Aunty," Aarav began. "Aisha cleared her interview today. She's been selected for a position in Korea. That means... she has to move there soon."
"I wasn't planning to take her this early. But... my mom was in an accident today. I have to fly out tonight."
He took a deep breath.
> "Korea is a new place for Aisha. New language, new city, new culture. And I was thinking... if she's going anyway, maybe it's better she comes now — with me — instead of traveling alone later."
Aisha's parents looked at each other.
She stepped forward, voice soft but firm.
> "I know this sounds sudden. But this job is real. And so is everything happening right now."
"You know Aarav. You've known him since I was five. I trust him."
A pause. A long one.
Finally, her father spoke.
> "You both know this isn't a small step."
> "We do," Aarav said immediately.
> "We just want you to be safe," her mother whispered.
Aisha looked at her with misty eyes.
> "I will be. With him."
---
The clock ticked again.
Her father finally nodded.
Her mother walked forward and gave her a long, tight hug.
> "Call us. Every day."
> "I promise."
Aarav gave a silent bow of thanks.

✈️ [Final Scene – Packing, Nightfall]
Aisha zipped her small suitcase, stuffing her laptop and charger inside. Her mind spun — fear, excitement, worry — all at once.
She looked up and saw Aarav standing in her doorway.
> "Are you sure?" he asked.
> "I'm scared," she admitted. "But I'm sure."
They held each other's gaze for a second.
Outside, a cab honked twice.
They were leaving.
Together.
