Chapter 168 - Ch168: Power

"Flying Thunder God: Shift." In a flash of silver light, Kakashi vanished from Kushina's house.

He reappeared inside his living room, the seal etched into the floor glowing briefly under his feet.

The moment he landed, he heard a voice.

"Kakashi!!" Anko shouted.

He looked up just in time to see her leap off the couch.

"Wha-!"

She tackled him straight into the armchair and straddled his lap.

"I'm bored," she said, puffing her cheeks. "Do something."

"You could have just said hello first." Kakashi chuckled softly.

"Where's the fun in that?" she smirked.

He leaned forward and kissed her.

Anko blinked, caught off guard, but quickly melted into it. Her hands found his shoulders, and she kissed him back with just as much heat.

They stayed like that for a while, lips pressed together, the room quiet except for the soft rustle of clothes.

When they finally pulled apart, Anko raised an eyebrow.

"Mm… you're in a good mood," she teased.

"Maybe." Kakashi smiled at her.

Then she blinked and narrowed her eyes.

"…Wait a second. Your chakra… it feels different."

"I just got back from Kushina's. I asked Kurama for help… and I broke through." He nodded. Although Kurama is not very willing, and with a Sharingan glare he will give him chakra.

"You mean…?" Anko sat back a little.

"Yeah," Kakashi said. "Super-Kage level. My chakra is denser now. Stronger. Faster recovery. The Genesis Seal absorbed Kurama's power and refined it perfectly."

Anko's eyes widened, then her face lit up.

"You did it! That's amazing!" she hugged him tightly. "I'm so proud of you, Kakashi."

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her.

"Thanks," he said softly.

She snuggled into his chest, happy to stay there for a bit.

But the door opened a few minutes later.

"We're back!" Tsunade's voice rang from the front hallway.

"We got snacks!" Kurenai added.

"And some extra tea, just in case," Mei's voice followed.

The three women entered the living room with bags in their hands, and they all froze simultaneously.

Anko was still on Kakashi's lap, both of them comfortably cuddled together.

"Well well. Should we give you two some privacy?" Tsunade smirked.

"They look cozy." Kurenai giggled.

"Jealous, Tsunade?" Mei tilted her head.

"Maybe. Or maybe I'm wondering if we should bring popcorn." Tsunade rolled her eyes playfully.

"Please. The brats aren't here. I don't need a room." Anko grinned.

The women burst out laughing.

"Welcome home." Kakashi just smiled, pleased to see them get along peacefully.

Kurenai walked closer, but her gaze narrowed as she looked at him.

"…Your chakra feels different."

. "It's stronger than last time." Mei nodded

"You've been training again?" Tsunade raised an eyebrow.

Kakashi nodded. "I asked Kurama to lend me chakra. Then I used the Genesis Seal. This time… I did it right. No damage. No side effects. Just pure increase."

He glanced down at his palm, where the red spiky diamond rotated slowly.

"I think I've officially reached Super-Kage level chakra."

"You're going to leave all of us behind at this rate." Tsunade's eyes widened slightly, and then she smiled.

"Not the goal," Kakashi said. "But I won't lie, it feels good."

"The Genesis Seal really absorbed that much-tailed beast chakra?" Mei asked as she stepped forward with a curious look.

"It didn't just absorb it," Kakashi explained. "It refined it. Integrated it. My body didn't reject anything. It even enhanced my Yang chakra and boosted my healing factor again."

Tsunade folded her arms. "You said that last time. About Katsuyu's enzyme. But now Kurama's? That's massive."

Kakashi nodded. "I could feel every pulse of chakra being reshaped. The seal rotates faster now too. It's adapting."

"So what now? Gonna try stealing chakra from all the tailed beasts?" Anko tilted her head.

"No thanks. Kurama's enough." Kakashi chuckled.

It was troublesome to go and search for the other-tailed beasts, but if he encountered one he wouldn't mind draining its chakra.

Anyway, they have plenty of it and can recover in a matter of time.

"Well, I'm glad you're okay. I was worried you were pushing yourself too fast again." Kurenai smiled softly.

"I had to," Kakashi said gently. "We don't know what's coming next. And I need to be ready."

"You gonna stay for lunch?" Tsunade placed her bag on the table.

"I'll come back later," Kakashi said, standing. "I want to test something in the lab."

"Something new?" Anko raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah," he said. "Something I've never done before."

….

Kakashi's Lab-Underground.

Kakashi stood inside his lab, the Genesis Seal glowing faintly on his hand. Scrolls and test equipment surrounded him, but today he didn't care about that.

He walked to the center of the room and unsealed a human-shaped training dummy from one of his storage scrolls.

The dummy was reinforced with chakra-reactive material and used for testing healing techniques and combat simulation.

He placed both hands on the dummy and closed his eyes.

"Let's try this…"

He took a deep breath and activated the Genesis Seal.

The red diamond on his palm spun faster. His chakra surged forward, not just to absorb this time, but to give.

Soft green light started to gather from the edges of the seal, forming a new glow across the dummy's surface.

The healing energy poured into the dummy as if it were alive.

Kakashi concentrated.

He imagined tissue repairing.

He imagined the chakra flow restoring.

He imagined a full-scale regeneration technique like Tsunade's, except powered by the Genesis Seal's refined chakra.

The dummy glowed fully now as if wrapped in a medical barrier.

Kakashi stepped back slowly and deactivated the seal.

"…It worked," he whispered.

His technique had healed even the hidden internal fractures in the dummy's structure.

He walked to the test monitor and checked the results.

"Vital signs… chakra flow… simulated heartbeat… everything recovered. No side effects."

He leaned against the wall, smiling to himself.

"If I really went into medical ninjutsu," he murmured, "I could stand with Tsunade. Maybe even surpass her."

The Genesis Seal pulsed again, calm and steady.

It was no longer just a weapon.

It was a tool. A creation of balance, power, and growth. And now… it was ready for the next phase.
