REDWOOD FOREST ~~ LUCAS'S MANSION
Ava stared at her dad then at her mum who looked down at her legs.
She looked at her dad for a while and he blinked.
"What did I say?" He asked.
"We have witches as our enemy and you never told me!!" Ava snapped at him..
"Even if I tell you, you can't do anything to stop it" He said and she frowned.
"You don't know that"
"I do. They're one of the strongest, witches can literally kill you with the snap of their fingers. There's no point in telling you when you can do absolutely nothing about it" Lucas said.
"Screw that shít. How can we stop the witches cos I'm hundred percent sure they'll attack soon." She asked him and a thought ran through his mind.
"We have to work together. You and the werewolf clan will have to work together to defeat the vampires and the witches. When we destroy the vampires, we'll be more stronger" He said and she let out a dark chuckle.
"You think I'll listen to that?? You should listen to yourself dad, it doesn't even sound like something that'd happen" She said and he frowned.
"But yunno what, your clan should be prepared cos my husband's clan ain't taking it easy on you" She added with a grin.
He scoffed..
"Just quit hating on the vampires cos your hate won't change the fact that I am married to him. Just give us your blessings already" She said and he chuckled.
"I will never give you and that filthy creature you call a husband my blessings Ava" He said and she folded her palms into fists.
"I give you and Lucian my blessings Ava" Luciana suddenly said and they both turned to look at her.
"What the hell do you think you're doing woman?!!" Lucas snapped at Luciana.
"We can't keep doing this honey. The vampires are enough to wipe our entire existence. The black werewolves are getting ready to attack same as the witches. We can't win the battle except we join forces with Ava" Luciana explained and Lucas frowned deeply.
"Thanks" Ava said to her mum and her mum pulled her into a tight hug.
"I love you" Luciana mumbled and Ava just stared into space before hugging her back.
"I love you too" She mumbled and Luciana smiled on her shoulder hugging her tighter.
"It's okay" Ava said gently pushing her off.
She smiled before walking to the front door. She turned her side view to Lucas.
"Join forces with me or get our entire clan wiped out" She said and he smirked.
"Over my dead body will I join forces with you and the vampires." Lucas said and Ava smiled facing forward.
"Suit yourself" She muttered before twisting the doorknob. The door opened and she sped out of there.
Luciana smiled staring at the door before turning only to receive a hard slap on the face.
"Why would you give them your blessing?? Huhh?!!" He yelled and she stepped back before slapping him back. His face went to the other side, and she spoke.
"Why won't I do so?? She is my daughter. I know I joined you in doing bad things to Lucian's clan and my daughter but then you're going way too far. She loves the guy and it's quite obvious that they are meant for each other. Why can't you just let my daughter be?? You've killed the vampires before and they haven't attacked yet so why are you doing this?!!" She yelled and he just stared at her with an unreadable look.
He closed his eyes remembering something. He smirked and opened his eyes.
"Whose side are you on now?" He asked.
"Ava's. I'm leaving this clan tonight" She said and turned to go upstairs only to be held by the neck by Lucas.
She began struggling to breath as Lucas pulled her closer to him making her back land on his chest.
"You are an enemy now and like a book once told me, to be stronger, you have to sacrifice someone you love" He said and her eyes widened.
She struggled to break out of his grip but she couldn't, she only got weaker.
"I love you Luciana but then I need extra power to be able to win this battle." He said and pushed her forward before stabbing his claws into her chest from behind.
Her eyes widened as she stood still. Blood began pouring from her chest and her lips.
She turned to him slowly, tears escaping her eyes.
"I l...loved y...you" She stuttered falling on her knees.
"Ava" She muttered and fell down to the ground. Her eyes glowed yellow before going back to normal. Her spirit left her immediately.
She died!
He inhaled and exhaled feeling a pain in his chest. He did love Luciana but she was starting to be a thorn in his side and he needed to get rid of her..
He closed his eyes and muttered some words. He widened his arms and kept muttering the same word.
A dark power flew into the room and entered into his chest. He closed his eyes tightly but then an excruciating pain came and he had to open them.
"Arghhhh!!" He screamed falling on his knees.
He held his chest as his eyes began glowing with red and golden. A horn appeared on his head and his claws came out but longer and sharper.
The transformation was complete and he stood looking so huge.
He growled loudly. His fangs were extremely long and sharp.
He walked slowly to the mirror in the living room and he squatted. He smirked deeply as he admired himself in the mirror.
He inhaled and closed his eyes changing back to his human form. He was still wearing his trousers, only his shirt was torn apart.
"It was worth it. Brace yourselves Ava, I am coming for you" He said with a grin before calling for a guard.
"Bury her in a beautiful garden please" He said and the guard nodded before carrying Luciana and took her away.
He stared at the blood on the ground for a while before going upstairs.
