Chapter 209: A Promise That Cannot Be Ignored

Pokraras Village, near the Persus Family's home.

The village is vast, with beautiful white houses. The leader of the Persus family is the village chief.

With the highest position in Pokraras Village,

and their immense military power, the Persus family's position has endured for a long time.

Around the Persus family's fence, skeletons with blood-red eyes attempt to break through the fence.

Ting ting ting ting ting

The sound of running and breaking through cannot be broken.

The persus family's fence

has a barrier protecting the persus family's home.

The Persus soldiers rush out, attacking the hordes of bones to defend the persus family.

"Go! ------"

A cheering shout and feet rush forward to destroy the hordes of bones. Boom!

A voice from behind them, the yellow-robed soldiers The people of the Lanna Sect

Running to destroy the bones, boom, boom, boom.

The villagers, who had secretly entered the Persus family compound, sat in fear.

Some stood watching the fight, preparing to flee. Everyone had expressions of terror on their faces.

"Will we survive this?"

"Of course! The Persus family and the people of the Lanna Sect are working together. Plus, the Lanna Sect's elders are inside the house."

"That's right. There's no way they could break in."

"I hope you're right."

Everyone had their own distinct thoughts.

Inside the Persus family home, in one room,

Pegasus was sitting on the bed. The room was decorated with beautiful decorations.

Each item was very expensive. It could be said that Pega's parents loved Pega very much. On Pega's bed, a purple teddy bear was placed at the head of the bed.

Peka sat near the window, separated by a glass barrier from the outside.

Peka looked at the people standing in the field, each expressing fear.

Peka watched the numerous battles unfold. "The battle has begun? People are fighting for survival.

Because I'm part of the Perseus family, I must wait here.

I have no talent in training. I can't train as a warrior, for reasons I still don't know."

Peka sat staring out the window. Something resembling a house floated in mid-air. Whoosh!

A large house, made entirely of wood, floated and crashed into the barrier. Whoosh! Boom!

The room shook slightly. The purple doll Seraph had given Peka fell onto the bed shelf. Whoosh!

The Perseus house shook slightly.

In the distance, a green-eyed, slender demon emerged, its body enormous.

Made entirely of bone.

The bone monkey with large arms roared, "Jieeeeek!"

A gust of wind blew everything in front of him away. Boom!

A body the size of a house ran forward. Bang! Boom! Boom!

Inside the Persus family home, a man flew out from the protective barrier surrounding the house. Boom!

A man dressed in white flew into the air, his blue wings made of lightning on both sides.

Hair fluttered slightly due to his short, white hair. His eyes were red. Pixen Persus, the eldest brother of the Persus family, flew out to fight. Boom!

Pixen flew at a blazing speed, catching the eyes of everyone inside.

The bone monkey leaped toward him. Pew! The bone monkey charged forward like a bullet. Pew!

The bone monkey flew closer, his right hand swinging a punch at Pixen. Pew!

Pixen drew his magical sword, a lightning-enhanced sword. Boom! Boom! Boom!

Blue lightning began to rampage along the blade.

Pixen swung his attack, charging his spirit energy into the blade. Pew!

BOOM! The winds collided violently.

Pisen swooped down. Pewwww!

Above Pisen's head, a bone bird swooped down, nearly penetrating Pisen's face. Whoosh! Boom!

Pisen landed on the ground, his expression still elegant.

In the moonlit sky, over ten bone birds flew through the air.

The green-eyed bone birds circled the sky.

The bone monkeys descended. Whoosh! The bone monkey's hand punched Pisen's. Whoosh!

The pigeons flew back. Whoosh! Boom!

Behind Pisen, the bone birds flew straight at high speed. Pewwww!

Pisen leaped over the bone birds. Whoosh! Boom!

The bone birds charged forward, about to collide with the bone monkey.

The bone monkey swung his right hand to grab the bone bird's beak. Boom!

The bone monkey, using the bone bird as a weapon, ran straight towards Pisen. Boom! Whoosh!

The bone monkey charged at high speed.

Pixen assumed a sword stance, as if swinging his sword once, his body curling inward.

"Persus Family Swordsmanship, Fifth Order: Heavenly Wings Swallowing the Sky."

The sword emitted a blue glow, and lightning formed the shape of a sword with white wings. Behind the sword, these beautiful wings, like purity that could not be contaminated by dirt.

The ground around Pixen exploded. Boom! Pixen swung his sword forward. Boom!

Lightning resembling the shape of a moon and the shape of a bird's wings flew straight up, as large as a house. Whoosh! Boom!

The bone monkey took the attack, its bones all shattered. The force of the attack was overwhelming. Boom!

In the sky, a bone bird descended, as if leaping from a building. Whoosh!

Pixen dodged slightly. Whoosh! Boom!

The bone bird struck the ground.

Pixen's right hand, holding the sword, slashed the bone bird's head. Boom!

Pega, sitting in a chair, looked into the distance and saw Pixen displaying his ferocious fighting prowess.

"I envy you. Such a talent for becoming the next generation leader.

As for me, if I'm useless in everything, I'll become someone from another family. Besides doing that, I have nothing else to do."

Pega looked over at his bed. There was a purple teddy bear lying on the floor.

Pega was slightly startled, as if he remembered something. "That's right, Ma Torem. I have to untie the ropes that are holding that horse back.

I told you to wait there. I'll be back. How could I forget!?"

Pega hurried out of the room and hurried down the hallway. His face was tense. He ran quickly, not wanting to wait.

Pega ran quickly out of the house. The people in the house didn't have time to pay attention to him.

Everyone helped each other.

Time passed. Pega ran quickly towards the back of the Perseus house.

Pega ran hurriedly, seeing many soldiers fighting with skeletons.

Peka ran to the back exit, blocked by a barrier.

A man was running towards Peka. He was a security guard behind the Perseus family home.

"Don't go out there! It's dangerous! If you go out, you'll die!"

The soldier was trying to warn Peka, who was near the barrier.

The skeletons were gathering elsewhere, so there were no skeletons blocking Peka's path.

Pega stared at the people fighting the skeletons, determined to kill them.

"Kid, don't go out there! It's dangerous!" The soldier ran over, trying to stop Peka.

Pega took a deep breath, looking at the corpses that couldn't fit through the barrier.

Cries of pain, cries of fear, cries of vengeance, all rushed in.

Pega thought back to the time he had separated from Matorem.

Morning scene: Peka stood watching Matorem in the stable.

Matorem stood sending Peka off, a blue rope wrapped around his nose.

Peka reached out to the horse, whose eyes were a mix of red and white. "Wait here. I'll definitely come to you. I promise."

The horse lay down in the grass inside the cage, a magical rope catching it.

Peka seemed to believe Peka's words and decided to lie down and wait.

Peka followed the maids towards the house.

After a while, the man guarding the stable smiled.

"You're not a beautiful horse at all. If I think about it, you'll be unwanted.

Pesus's horses must be pure white, majestic, and beautiful.

It's so sad, Peka. You'll be sold. I think other horses are more beautiful than you."

Back in the present, Peka reached out and touched the barrier on the wall.

"Even though I'm afraid,

Even though I see something I can't see ahead,

Even though I know going out will only bring death,

I have to go no matter what. That's what a promise is. Those who break it are the ones who break it.

No matter how difficult it is, or how much it causes others trouble.

That's the kind of person I am. It's the rules of the Perseus family.

I was ordered not to go outside because it's dangerous.

But the promise I made, I'll definitely go.

A promise is a promise. There's nothing else.

Pega ran out of the barrier, both feet heading towards the barn to find Torem. That was a promise.
