Chapter 225: A Single Tear
The forest was surrounded by green trees.
The sky was full of stars. Seria lunged back from the fist bump with Bone B. Whoosh! Thud!
Seria floated back, seeing Bone B standing still.
"Your hand isn't broken. Did you use too much force?...?"
Seria shook her left hand back and forth, checking for any internal injuries.
"No? You must have not eaten. What do bones like you normally eat?"
Bone B stood there, staring at Seria, unmoving.
In the pitch-black sky, something was flying. Whoosh!
Wings made of bone, four wings on its back, and golden eyes, along with a human-like body. Another Bone B was flying in the sky. Whoosh!
Seria looked at another newcomer, a strong one, flying with the aura of a strong one.
"Should I say a meat buffet?"
Seria's eyes trembled with fear. Looking at this bone c, the pressure released was even more terrifying than the bone b.
But that wasn't enough. In the sky behind the bone c, three golden-eyed bones flew up behind him, one after another.
The pressure was no less than that of the bone b who stood facing Seria.
The wings multiplied, and the number of winged skeletons increased by more than ten.
And they continued to increase. With their unhurried approach, the wings fluttered across the sky, and the skeletons flew through the sky.
Seria turned around cautiously. A flock of golden-eyed bones flew up behind them. Whoosh! Whoosh!
It was like a flock of birds preparing to move their nests to find a new home.
Over a hundred bones flew through the sky, completely surrounding Seria's escape route.
Seria stood there staring at the extremely striking bone c.
"Looks like you're moving. Did you bring an entire army just for me?"
The winged skeletons surrounded Seria, completely blocking his escape route. Each one exuded a strong aura.
Seria stood there, her hand clutching a half-book, searching for a way out of a desperate situation.
Just Bone B alone showed no sign of taking it down, and some of the creatures here had even more powerful beings than Bone B.
Bone C flew down with four pairs of wings. The slow swishing created a powerful force.
Just staring at Bone C could tell. A miracle wouldn't be enough. Only a hero could save them.
Bone C possessed the aura of the strong. Just a glance could subdue the weak.
Even those equally strong trembled in fear at Bone C's appearance.
Bone C floated down to the ground. A swarm of bones floated in mid-air, surrounding Seria in a circle. Each stared at Seria.
To see what Bone C would do.
Bone C clasped his hands together. Boom!
The golden light shone so brightly that it stung the eyes of those who saw it. The golden light continued to spread out in all directions.
In the far distance, Seria stood still, her body trembling slightly, her heart beating rapidly.
Seria was not affected by the golden light. The golden light shone around the area and disappeared in an instant. Whoosh!
Seria raised a hand to block the golden light and saw a bright white light in the far distance, approaching at great speed.
"White light?" Seria was slightly curious as to where the bright white light was coming from.
In the far distance, towards Pokraras Village, Pega stood still. A bright white light in the center of the village
A statue of a red-eyed Pegasus was erected in the center of the village, raising both of its front paws towards the sky.
A Pegasus, the size of a building, floated in the center of the village. The surrounding skeletons vanished, leaving no trace of them.
Pegasus's face showed intense anger, his eyes reflecting something of a Pegasus, as he traveled all the way to Gollen Village.
Pegasus gripped his sword tightly, blood almost rising to his face. The area where the skeletons should have been had completely disappeared.
The people around Pograras Village stood like boiling chickens, confused as to whether it was cooked.
"What happened? Is there no destructive power? I remember the defenses being easily broken?"
The seraph running stood in confusion. "What happened? I thought I'd ascended to heaven and been reborn?"
All over Pograras Village, the skeletons had disappeared.
The people fighting stood there, confused as to whether they should be saddened by the collapse of the village's barrier. Or should I rejoice that all the skeletons in front of me have disappeared?
"Oh…! Isn't this considered a victory?!"
"Don't be careless. But where did those guys go?!"
"Forget about that. A white light appeared. I thought they were dead already!"
"Hahahaha, this is our victory. I must say, we're saved today!"
Oh…! The cheers of joy were deafening.
But at the same time, the cries of our lost comrades and those who lost important people in the battle were heard.
Someone won to rejoice, and some lost to cry. The emotions were a jumble of emotions, each one sad and happy. No matter what they did, in this situation, everyone thought it was over.
At Fyren Village, the Fyrenin clan members shouted with joy at the end of the fight. A large number of bones had disappeared, as a bright white light appeared, its origin unknown.
Pega stood still, his face gritted until blood was flowing from his teeth. "My thousand years of preparations have all been wasted." The energy I had been saving for my leveling up disappeared before my eyes. Don't let anyone know who did this. But first, you're dead, you damn bones!
Pepka turned around with a calm expression, his dual swords in both hands, trailing Peka. Whoosh!
A murderous intent of immense vengeance was unleashed.
Before Peka, Li Wen gasped in shock as he saw the skeletons that should have filled the area disappear.
He couldn't see a single one. "How did you do it?"
Pepka ran at him at full speed. "I'll kill you! Just you wait and see!"
The dual swords swung forward. A wave of light shaped like a pair of wings of extremely dangerous energy shot forward.
Li Wen formed a bony hand and charged towards Peka. Boom!
The two of them shared the same idea: the man in front of them was the cause of all this.
Each of them wanted to kill the person in front of them. In this world, no one could survive. You must die or I will. So, you must die so that I can live. Today, we must kill each other. Boom!
In a certain place, Seria stood watching as a bright white light struck the skeletons in front of her and flew past her, disappearing. Whoosh!
Seria could only blink, confused as to what the bright white light was doing here.
Seria stared at Bone C, who was standing still, along with a multitude of skeletons surrounding him.
"What do you want? One on one, I'd like to ask for that, but you've come all this way. Have mercy on this girl. Even though I'm a genius, I'm still a child."
Bone C brought both hands together and extended them as far as they could go.
Seria prepared to receive Bone C's attack.
Bone B held both hands together and extended his arms as far as they could go, just like Bone C.
In the sky, the bones held their hands outstretched, facing Seria.
The surrounding bones followed suit in unison.
Their hands clasped together. Extending his arms out to the fullest extent.
Seria smiled slightly, as if understanding the situation. The bones all made the same gesture. Seria had predicted that...
"This isn't a one-on-one duel. This is a one-on-one attack."
The book in Seria's hand trembled slightly. The scene before him, before Seria had opened it first to gain the upper hand,
became a scene he couldn't have imagined.
The c bone bowed its head to the ground as if in salute, with its hands extended forward.
The b bone bowed its head to the ground as did the c bone.
In the sky, the bones bowed their heads, and behind the c bone, all the surrounding bones followed suit.
The skeletons bowed to Seria. It was a strange sight.
But what was even stranger was that the confused Seria felt something on his right cheek.
Something soft and slippery was flowing from one of Seria's eyes. It was like a tear.
Seria didn't smile at all. Instead, a single tear was flowing from his left eye.
Seria spoke up. I don't know why a single tear fell from my eye.
"Huh? "
It was a picture of a young girl standing still, bowing in respect to the young girl in front of her.
