Chapter 232: Strange Reinforcements
In the forest at night, Fiona walks along the slightly damp ground. The air feels cold.
With every step she takes, she can immediately feel the water on the ground. The surroundings are filled with trees and the corpses of dead demons.
Fiona smiles slightly, her eyes looking up at the sky. The stars are everywhere.
"The moon is beautiful tonight, not as beautiful as yesterday. Since I'm here, come out and show yourself, handsome man."
A shadow from behind the trees, in front of Fiona, a man walks out.
It's Hope, a large man with incredibly strong arms.
Hope smiles wickedly. "Hey, little one. We meet again. What are you doing here?"
Hope holds a large sword in his hand, a red energy covering the blade.
It gives an eerie feeling, like a sword that has killed countless people.
Fiona summoned her own sword, a green blade with a green scissors pattern all over the blade.
Fiona showed no fear. "Then, let's begin, handsome man. I'm so eager to test my skills that I can't even stand still."
Hobe raised his sword. "Let the fight begin."
Fiona ran toward Hob. Boom! Pewwww!
The green wings on Fiona's back revealed themselves, sending Fiona rocketing forward. Pewwww!
Hobe raised his large sword into the sky. A blood-red skull, radiating fire energy, collided. Boom!
Light energized Hob's sword, releasing a terrifying aura. Boom!
Hobe swung his sword straight ahead. Pewwww!
Fiona used her fourth skill, {Bird Feet}. Green feet shaped like bird feet
covered Fiona's right foot. Pewwww!
Fiona dashed to the side. Narrowly dodging, Pewwww, BOOM!
A sword mark lined the ground. Boom!
Fiona lunged back, swinging her wind-enhanced sword and slashing forward. Whoosh!
Ahead of Fiona, Hob, with immense speed, swung an energy-enhanced punch, punching straight. Whoosh!
BOOM! Hob's punch collided with Fiona. Boom!
Fiona dove away. CRUNCH! The ground was pierced by a bird's foot.
Fiona smiled. The bird's foot slashed into the sky, kicking it upwards to spin. Pewwww!
A wave of green light shot straight towards Hob!
Hobby pulled his sword, which he had left behind, and flew back towards his hand. Whoosh! Boom!
Hobby's sword landed in his hand and swung it towards Fiow. Boom!
The green light wave dissipated in the sky. Fiona charged towards him. Pewwww!
A large, bird-like foot, like a tree stump, charged forward with a powerful kick, ready to stomp Hob into the ground. Pew!
Hobbs spun around, the sword in his hand cracking slightly. Pew! Fire energy erupted again, engulfing Hob's body. Red flames were burning his body. Pew!
The red flames clashed, forming a tower, and it shot towards Fiona. Pew!
The bird's foot collided with a boom! The wind was so strong that the ground caved in, the cracks widening.
Hobbs looked behind him. Pew!
Behind Hob, Fiona pounced behind him, her face smirking. "There's a gap behind you."
Fiona's sword thrust straight forward. Pew!
A beam of light shot towards Fiona!
Hobbs' sword was swung to meet the attack. Pew! Boom!
Hobbs leaped back. Pew! Boom! In the sky above Fiona's head.
A red skull, engulfed in flames, swoops down. Whoosh!
Fiona prepares to dive back, but it's a feint.
"We have to go! If you dodge, I'll hit you!"
Fiona's feet appear as bird feet. Boom! The ground explodes.
There's not a speck of dust beyond sight. Whoosh!
Fiona lunges forward. The skull of fire slams into the ground. Boom!
Heat can be felt from behind.
Fiona flies to a stop in front of Hob, her sword glowing green and she slashes. Whoosh!
Hobby raises her sword to block. Whoosh! Boom! The two fight evenly.
On the one hand, Seraph, running at full speed, aims to summon help.
Seraph runs through the darkness. [You damned bastards! Why am I running like this? I thought this was the end of the story.]
Seraph runs unhurriedly. In front of Seraph, a shadow of a person is hiding behind a tree.
Because the surroundings were pitch-black, it was impossible to see what kind of faces each person had.
A man walked out with a relaxed expression, a slight chuckle emanating from his lips.
"Heh heh, heh heh. Where are you going in such a hurry, little one? Do you need my help?"
An old man walked out, a cane in hand, with gray-white hair and white eyes. His clothes looked like those of an ordinary person.
Not very noticeable.
Old Man A walked out to greet Seraph.
Seraph ran and stopped quickly.
He looked at the old man in front of him, wondering who he was and what he should do.
Seraph stood still, seeing a golden aura of luck floating around the old man.
[Even though he was suspicious, this person didn't seem suspicious...?
Never mind that. Having such luck around him, does that mean he's suitable for me? Has the system started working? That's why he's starting to see!?]
Seraph spoke, his face calm. "Then please help us. We need someone strong to help us."
Old Man A walked into the moonlight, his face smiling slightly. "Of course, of course. I can leave this little boy here?"
Old Man A remained silent, his face expressionless. Shocked.
His body shook violently. He remembered Seraph's face clearly.
Old Man A stood still like a statue. The moonlight began to reveal the image of the unforgettable Seraph.
"Bana! How did you get here?"
Old Man A began to sweat. [Bana! This is the latest boss, the one who turned the Two-Headed Dragon Organization into a Two-Headed Angel. Why are you here!?]
Old Man A clenched his fists tightly.
Seraph asked again, having no answer. "You want to help me, right?"
[What's wrong? You're so quiet. What should I do?]
Seraph could only think, seeing the drastic change in his actions.
Old Man A quickly thought about the reason Seraph had appeared.
[Why are you here? Are you saying that those who desert the organization and refuse to do good will be killed...?
This guy is so strong. Boss Otis even lost. This means his skill is extraordinary.
That fight is still etched in my mind. He was a true monster.
Otis was strong, but this guy was beyond strong. He had to try to escape.]
Seraph slowly approached the old man, his feet moving ever closer.
The old man's heart was beating so hard it almost jumped out of his chest. The old man trembled in fear.
Seraph stopped. [He's so old, don't tell me you can't hear him. Do I have to speak so close?]
"Will you help me?"
The old man nodded, coming back to his senses. "I understand. I'll help you. So please, let me go."
Seraph tilted his head slightly. I'm suspicious of the words he said.
[That's strange. Never mind. I was already a strange person.]
"Then thank you very much. I need someone with fighting skills to help an acquaintance."
Old Man A simply nodded. "I understand. Who do you want me to take care of? If I can help you?"
Seraph paused, thinking. He pointed in the direction of Phalen.
It was the same path Seraph had just taken. "That direction. Are you sure you can take care of it? It looks like there are powerful warriors fighting."
Seraph's tone was cold and calm.
Old Man A looked in the direction Seraph was pointing. "That's the direction that guy is fighting, isn't it?"
Seraph heard him nod. "Do you know the person over there?" "
Old Man A nodded. "Yes, sir. I heard someone wanted to take care of him, so they called me here to help fight him."
Seraph went silent, his fingers returning to their original positions. [Oh, shit! This guy's on the same side as that guy over there. What can we do? This is certain death.]
"Is that so? He's an acquaintance of that guy, isn't he?"
Old Man A only heard the voice, and the tension rose dramatically.
Old Man A quickly knelt down, dropping his head to the ground. BAM!
"Sorry, I didn't know that guy over there was your acquaintance. So, can you wait here? I'll go and stop him!"
Seraph was stunned. Old Man A was kneeling, talking to himself.
[What should I do? Is the brain of that guy I know all messed up? But Golden Luck is shining.
Let it go. I was originally a total loser. There's no way to stop it.
With such a slim chance, it might be a misunderstanding.]
"Then, I'll leave it to you."
Seraph allowed.
The old man hurried over, his face filled with relief. He had thought he'd died at the hands of Seraph.
But the terrifying battle was just an illusion, just a playful Foxy.
