Chapter 313 - Chapter 313: Heartless Because of Love

Chapter 313: Lack of Love, Heartless

Location: A basement, a dark laboratory.

In the center of the room, ice enveloped the room, icy mist spreading across the ground.

Rindel stood staring at the paddle in front of him with a satisfied expression.

He paid no attention to the man, whose body was covered in ice, unable to move.

Rindel tilted his head slightly to look at the ice, which had a slight crack.

It was a sign that the ice in front of him was about to break.

"The time to stop the enemy is beautiful. If I had this much time, I could have escaped in time." Rindel analyzed the effects of the potion that had frozen Man.

The cracks in the ice began to spread out, and in the blink of an eye, the cracks spread throughout the ice. A deafening explosion rang out from within the ice. Boom!

The ice in front of Rindel dispersed in all directions. Coldness and ice fragments scattered around.

Rindel watched as fragments of ice shot forward, as if someone had blown snowflakes. The wind added another layer of chill.

Rindel could feel the cold, but deep down, he showed no fear of the man before him.

Chai A stood in the center of the raging storm, his face furious. His entire body was tinged with cold.

Chai A's face was so angry it was igniting fire. His body was soaked in melted ice.

"You son of a bitch!" Chai A charged at Rindel. Whoosh!

Chai A approached Rindel. Green energy enveloped his sword. Chai A stretched his sword even farther.

The green sword, enhanced with spirit, swung horizontally. The wind and speed were incredibly strong. Whoosh!

A green light shone through the darkness, and only the pink flame from Rindel's lantern remained, burning pure fire.

Rindel ducked his head slightly. Whoosh! Boom!

Rindel easily dodged Chaya's sword strike.

A green light crashed into the wall. Boom!

Rindel smiled faintly. "Is it because of a lack of love that you're so careless?"

Rindel's paddle, pink flames growing hotter and hotter.

Rindel thrusted the paddle in a straight direction. Pew!

Chaya took a deep breath and swung his sword, sending it flying to meet Rindel's attack. Pew! Boom!

Chaya raised his spirit-enhanced sword to block it just in time.

He retreated slightly from the impact. Boom! Whoosh! Boom!

Rindel, who had been thrusting, pulled the paddle back.

Rindel tapped the paddle slightly. "Hmm, it sounds good."

But I wonder, isn't this something suitable for combat?"

Rindel stared at the paddle in front of him, not paying any attention to Chaya, who was backing away.

Chaya didn't immediately become careless. After seeing that the girl in front of him wasn't weak,

[This child is incredibly strong. At such a young age, she can fight like this.

A truly unrivaled genius.]

Chai A took a deep breath to meditate.

The anger and shame were put aside, leaving only skill to decide.

Rindel, seeing Chai A's expression, became very interested.

Rindel didn't smile, but a smile of joy.

He had found someone who didn't care whether he, as a child, won or lost.

Rindel wanted to test his own abilities, but Chai A's tendency to underestimate himself took the fun out of it.

Seeing Chai A begin to fight relentlessly, the moment he had been waiting for arrived.

Rindel praised him with delight.

"You're strong too. Cultivators fight without looking down on their opponents' ages.

I don't like losing with excuses. Fighting relentlessly, I admire you.

The winner takes everything, the loser loses everything.

It's like love, if it lacks inspiration.

It's like I'm suffocating from the air I need to live.

I have love.

And you?

Do you have a heart? "Rindel said, pointing to his chest.

His finger pointed to his heart, which was still beating, thump thump thump thump thump.

The stillness, the sound of a lamp burning energy, was the protective lamp.

It was a picture of a young girl holding a lamp close to her chest.

Chai A smiled slightly. "I almost fell in love with you, little girl.

Go ahead. My heart is on the line. If you win, I'll be your subordinate.

And if you lose, be my lover." Chai A assumed the swordsmanship he had learned.

Rindel nodded, satisfied. "Go ahead. If you can beat me, then we'll talk."

Rindel used his second Spirit Skill, {Flame of Love}. The pink flame from the paddle shot out like fireworks, spewing from the muzzle. Fuuu ...

A pink glow burned the entire room, illuminating it.

The pink glow consumed the darkness, leaving no room for darkness.

Rindel turned the paddle towards the back. The paddle exploded with a boom.

The paddle flew forward at breakneck speed. Pew!

Chai A saw the paddle approaching.

Chai A swung his wind-enhanced sword, slashing it in a straight line. Pew!

Boom! Chai A's sword collided with the paddle.

Boom! Chai A prepared to dodge the paddle by dashing to the left. Whoosh!

The paddle's flames went out completely. The illuminated area was transformed into pitch-black darkness as the flame disappeared.

Chai A could see in the dark, though blurry, but still able to see.

Chai A looked ahead at full speed and saw Rindel's Lantern of Protection floating through the air. Whoosh!

The lantern was flying, unwielded.

Chai A created a green storm. Enveloping himself, phew phew phew! Boom! Boom!

The lantern collided with the storm around Man A. Boom!

Green light swirled around Man A.

Man A looked towards Rindel's paddle.

There was a pitch-black pill, similar to the one hidden beneath the cauldron fragments.

The pill that came with the paddle exploded when it came into contact with the pink light.

Man A was stunned. Boom! Man A lunged back. Whoosh!

Chaya dove backward, his face wounded by the force of the explosion.

Meanwhile, Rindel's paddle flew back in its original direction. Whoosh!

The paddle's head exploded with a burst of pink light, blanketing the paddle in pitch-black darkness. A loud explosion erupted as the Protection Lantern collided with the paddle. A loud bang!

A black pill had been carefully hidden in the area. The person who had thrown the Protection Lantern into the paddle was the missing Rindel.

Rindel had intentionally let the pill on the edge of the Protection Lantern explode.

The light from the collision, causing a small explosion, caught Chaya's eye.

In a short while, Chaya's adaptation to the darkness was slightly delayed.

As he approached the paddle, the Protection Lantern floated to the ground. BAM!

The single sliver of pink light from the Protection Lantern could create light.

Chaya's gaze focused on the direction of the lantern with extreme caution.

Chaya flew back away. He lunged back at full speed and accidentally tripped and fell onto the sofa. Thud!

Chaya retreated and sat on the sofa, his expression utterly stunned.

He had forgotten there was a sofa in the center of the room, and he fell onto it. Thud!

He sensed his own spiritual energy and could sense it immediately.

The person sitting on the sofa before him was sitting very close to him.

It was a human form. Chaya was shocked and couldn't believe what was sitting next to him.

The body didn't move at all, and fear spread through his body. The sound of swallowing was faint.

Chaya couldn't detect the scent of Rindel, who had been sitting on the sofa since when. He couldn't remember.

Near Chaya's head, Rindel was sitting to Chaya's left, with a slight smile on his face.

Rindel's right hand was extended near Chaya's ear, a warning that any movement would result in death from ear burns.

The sound of the paddle hitting the floor, a thud, signaled the end of a short fight.

I thought his long speech would be a quick victory.

Moreover, Chaya hadn't even used half his power, yet he was instantly defeated.

The voice close to Chaya's ear was Rindel's, sitting comfortably as the battle ended so quickly.

"The outcome will probably be something like this. Is there anything else you'd like to add?"

Chaya stopped, his sword still in his hand. "How did you do it? Erasing something that even I can't detect. How did you do it?" he asked, his voice calm, trying not to show Rindel that he was afraid.

Rindel tilted his head slightly, his smile still full of interest. "It's because of my long training that I've achieved the highest level of Erasing Erasing." Rindel had lied.

Chaya, at the time, had created a windstorm that enveloped everything, creating a large gap.

Rindel used his calculations to predict the enemy's movements and decide what to do if he encountered it.

And as the sound exploded inside, the storm rumbled.

Rindel drank the Erasing Potion. He ran straight towards the sofa behind him. Normally, the sound of running would be heard if he wanted to move at high speed.

But because the black pills exploded rhythmically, Rindel

was able to mask the sound of running. Plus, the timing was perfect.

The initial explosions forced Rindel to use speed to rush forward, leaving him with no way to brake.

If he stopped midway, the enemy would know for sure.

Rindel prepared another black pill and placed it behind the protection lantern.

When the protection lantern he had thrown caught the paddle, the pill hit the paddle.

Therefore, a bright explosion was created.

This left Chaya, who needed to concentrate on his direction, with no time to watch his back.

And the victory belonged to Rindel, who had calculated the entire battle plan from the beginning.

Chaya said, "As expected of a fourth-level cultivator, I will surrender." Chaya accepted defeat rather than death.

Rindel said doubtfully, "No, I'm level two." Rindel declared himself to be level two.
