Chapter 237 - 237: The Hunter Arrives.

"Hmph, you're all quick on your feet. I like agile Spider-Men."

A rift tore open inside the swirling particle stream. From the breach stepped a man in a bloodstained leather shoe, dragging Deadpool by the neck as though he weighed nothing.

Before his feet even touched the ground, he hurled Deadpool down and stomped on him like a rug. The impact shattered the floor, spraying bricks and debris across the collider chamber.

Behind him, the unstable portal collapsed into the collider's energy stream, triggering another violent explosion. The machine, just repaired, was already breaking apart again.

Beneath the stranger's shoe, Deadpool was in pieces. Bones snapped, organs ruptured, his body a mess. He let out a strangled scream, trying to curse—but the heel pressing into his chest cut him short.

In an instant, Deadpool's life energy was pulled out of his body like a flood and funneled into the intruder.

The man sneered, wiping blood from his lips. "Disgusting. His taste is foul." He spat to the side and finally raised his head.

Long, unkempt hair fell across sharp cheekbones. His scarlet eyes glowed like burning coals, sweeping over the gathered Spider-People with pure hunger.

He spread his arms and inhaled deeply. "What a wonderful scent. 616 Spider-Man really led me to something special. Passing through his dimensional path, the Weaver Master locked onto this world. And here I find… a multiverse filled with nothing but Spider-Men."

He licked his lips, his grin widening into something feral. "This is paradise."

His voice carried like a death sentence. "Spider-Men, remember my name—Morlun. From now on, you are all my food."

The Spider-Men froze under his gaze. Their instincts screamed danger. It wasn't just intimidation—it was predatory terror, the way a rabbit feels before a hawk.

"Morlun…" Garfield-Spiderman whispered, sweat beading on his forehead. They all finally understood why the very mention of this villain had once left 616 Spider-Man uneasy.

Toby's voice was grim. "This isn't like our usual enemies, Peter," he told Holland-Spiderman. "Some villains are broken, some can be saved. But this one… he's a monster."

Garfield-Spiderman nodded. "He found this world because of us. If we let him leave, every universe with Spider-Men could fall."

Holland swallowed hard, adrenaline spiking through his veins. Just being near Morlun felt like standing at the edge of a cliff.

Spider-Man of this world crouched on the ceiling, poised to strike.

Gwen leaned toward Malrick, whispering, "Go! Take Little Peter and get him out of here. That guy… he's not normal."

Malrick's eyes glowed faintly as his vision pierced into Morlun's body. What he saw unsettled even him: DNA tangled with totemic power, unlike anything he had collected before.

"Strange indeed," Malrick murmured, his lips curling slightly. The rarer the genes, the more valuable they were.

Gwen didn't notice his thoughts. She pressed her lips together and urged again, "We can't risk Little Peter against something like this."

Morlun smirked, clearly enjoying their fear. "What's wrong? Not running? Perfect. Tell me—how many Peters are here? Out of all the Spider-Men I've eaten, Peter Parker has the richest flavor. My favorite meal."

He said it casually, as if talking about fine cuisine. The Spider-Men's hearts sank like stones.

And then—Deadpool twitched beneath his foot.

As always, Deadpool refused to die quietly. With a trembling hand, he patted Morlun's pant leg, then raised a shaky thumbs-up. "You're right… Peter does taste the best…"

Then, flipping his thumb downward, he pulled a miniature Adamantium dagger from his sleeve and rammed it straight into Morlun's crotch.

"But only I get to 'eat' Peter!"

The blade sank deep, blood splattering.

Morlun roared in fury, staggering forward. Deadpool twisted the weapon viciously, trying to slice deeper.

Snarling, Morlun stomped down with the force of a sledgehammer, caving Deadpool's chest in. With one hand, he yanked the dagger free, tearing flesh, and resumed draining Deadpool's life force.

Deadpool shriveled before their eyes, his flesh collapsing into a withered husk.

"Deadpool!" several Spider-Men shouted at once.

Even with regeneration, it was clear—if Morlun drained him completely, Deadpool might actually die.

Holland-Spiderman, who had spent the most time mocking him, was the first to launch an attack. A web shot from his wrist, striking Morlun. Toby and Garfield swung in right behind him.

The others followed, surrounding Morlun from every angle.

Malrick, floating nearby, raised a brow and muttered, "So they do care about Deadpool. Fine. I'll give them two minutes."

Under Morlun's heel, Deadpool's mask was damp with tears. With his skeletal hand, he reached toward the charging Spider-Men. His voice rasped dramatically, "My… Peter… I knew you'd come for me…"

"There's more than one Peter here, you idiot!" Gwen snapped, kicking Morlun hard.

"Which Peter do you mean?!" Holland shouted, slinging a web ball at Morlun's eyes.

"I bet it's the most handsome one!" quipped the local Spider-Man, weaving layers of web to bind Morlun.

"Then he's talking about me," Garfield joked, flipping through the air and smashing his heel into Morlun's jaw.

"Deadpool means all of us," Toby said firmly, yanking Deadpool's twin katanas toward him with his webs before charging in.

The Spider-Men attacked in unison, striking the hunter together.
