Malrick appeared in the TVA command room. Two halves of Thanos's body and scattered Infinity Gauntlets lay on the floor.
B-15 stared in shock. Half her face was spattered with purplish-red blood from where the bodies landed. Her mind raced. One moment she'd been applauding him for solving a multiverse crisis. The next, the room looked like an R-rated crime scene. Even the orange walls had been stained.
She finally whispered, "Superman, why did you bring these Thanos bodies back? This isn't a movie set, right?"
Malrick half smiled as though indulging an absurd joke. "Props for your 'Deadpool 3'? No, let's just return them — and the Gauntlets — to their respective universes."
B-15 blinked. "Right. Yes, of course. We do need to send them home."
She hesitated, glancing at the neatly severed Thanos torsos. The organs… the mess…
"Ugh," she muttered, quickly shifting her eyes away.
Despite the gore, the TVA was better organized than most would imagine. The only beings they couldn't fully control were the likes of Eternity, Galactus, and Arishem. But Doctor Stranges? They had more than enough to fill their cells.
B-15 inhaled deeply. She addressed Malrick quietly: "Half the people in those universes went missing… they'll need their Infinity Gauntlets back. I'll assign people to return the Stones once we're done. Then Jarvis will supervise the entire process."
She paused, frowning. "No funny business. Jarvis will keep an eye on any employees who might try to misuse them."
Malrick nodded. "Good. I trust Jarvis."
He smiled wryly as he pocketed his Time Pad. "I've got Tony's wedding to get back to. But… tell Deadpool to stop harassing Jarvis. He said it's… getting to him."
B-15's hand twitched. "I'll pass it on."
Malrick stepped toward a time-space door, then paused. "B-15, I'm going to head out now."
Just then, her Time Pad beeped. She looked at the screen — her expression turned serious.
"Stay a little longer," she urged.
"Something wrong?" he floated over, curiosity in his eyes.
"Yes," B-15 said. "It's bigger than just another Thanos. Someone else is behind this."
She tapped the screen. A surveillance video from timeline 199999-F-2 flickered to life. On it: Thanos seated on his throne, radiating menace. Standing before him: a black man wearing an ancient Egyptian pharaoh's headdress, holding a golden scepter. He spoke confidently.
"Those Avengers are leaping across the Multiverse," the pharaoh said, "threatening everything we've built. You must destroy, then rebuild."
Thanos looked at him coldly. The pharaoh's voice softened — but his words were chilling. "We share enemies. Jokers. People who take what is ours and defy us."
Then he stared straight into the surveillance camera, his eyes piercing. The final words seemed meant for whoever watched: "We will come for you soon." The video crackled, then cut out.
B-15 closed her mouth, tension in every line of her face. "That's Kang, isn't it? Pharaoh Kang."
Malrick's brow furrowed. "One of the Kang variants?"
She nodded, serious. "Exactly. We've tracked Kangs for a long time — Pharaoh Kang, Immortus, others. They're dangerous. Many want to reshape entire universes. Right now, it seems Pharaoh Kang is using Thanos as a tool to restart something."
Malrick's face hardened. "So his plan is bigger than Thanos."
"It is," B-15 said softly. "If he succeeds, we could face a Multiversal war."
Malrick agreed. "Which Kang variants have you caught so far?"
B-15's shoulders tightened. "None yet. Peter and Wade have tried, but each time they got close, the target disappeared. Their methods… they're unpredictable."
Malrick's jaw clenched. Every variant was part of a web across the Multiverse. He accessed his Time Pad, ready.
"Can I try to apprehend Pharaoh Kang myself?" he asked.
B-15's eyes brightened. "Yes. If anyone can catch him, it's you."
She pulled up all her intel. "He's from a 199999 branch universe. Originally from the 31st century, descending from Reed Richards. He went back to ancient Egypt. He rules there."
Malrick frowned. "Reed Richards — Mister Fantastic? We have him in this Multiverse."
"Yes," B-15 said, surprised. "The Fantastic Four are from the main MCU universe. But your version… I don't know if they're around."
Malrick exhaled. "If they do come back… I'll let you know. But for now, Pharaoh Kang is the priority."
She nodded and locked in the time coordinate. "He's still in that Thanos universe — go there."
Malrick touched his Time Pad, opened another portal.
He turned. "I'll get him. Wait for my word."
And with that, he stepped into the gate, ready to face his next—and most dangerous—opponent.
